This was actually my first time hearing of and trying walleye, and I have to be honest--the taste just wasn't for me. It had an off-putting flavor that I couldn't stomach, and paired with the bones, I was done. Let me be clear though, this wasn't a chef mistake or an issue with how the fish was prepared. I simply didn't like the taste. The dish itself looked amazing. When our waitress noticed I had only eaten a small piece of the fish, she asked if I'd like to try something else. I decided to go with a burger instead, and it was pretty decent. No complaints there. Overall, I'd definitely go back for more of those deviled eggs and to try some other items on the menu. Nice ambiance, friendly staff, and great customer service. Definitely worth another visit.

Since our table wasn't ready, we decided to grab a drink at the bar. The Una Vida Margarita was absolutely perfect, made just to my liking. Shortly after we got our drinks, our table was ready, so we quickly moved to our seats. We started with the Scallops Scampi, which was a delightful combination of light breading and tender scallops. The rolls and butter were incredibly addictive. The Caesar salad was generously topped with shredded Parmesan cheese and had a creamy dressing. For my main course, I opted for the lobster combo, which included a 6-ounce filet, lobster tail, and three shrimp scampi. Why settle for just one when you can have them all? The filet was cooked to perfection and accompanied by a generous scoop of Tony's signature steak butter, which was simply delicious. The lobster tail was equally impressive, whether enjoyed on its own or with a squeeze of lemon and the butter draw they offer. The shrimp scampi had the same breading as the scallops and was just as tasty. Throughout our meal, we couldn't resist trying a few Una Vida shots. As always, they hit the spot perfectly. The server was fantastic and attentive, making sure to keep us well-catered to. He even joined in on our laughter throughout the evening. Overall, it was an incredible dining experience. It was a must with the girl chat we were having and I was tempted to order another, but we would've never left if I had. I started with the lava roll. Unfortunately, I did not get a picture as I ate it within approximately .3 seconds of it being set on the table. Flavorful, and had a kick of spice to it! Next, we ordered fries and had to throw in another round because they were so yummy. The sauce that came with them... um yes, they know exactly what they are doing. I also asked for honey mustard, and Marcus literally went in the back and made me my very own sauce. How exceptional?! I'm talking about both Marcus and the sauce he made, yes, exceptional! For our entrees, my friend ordered a classic pepperoni pizza and I had Marcus surprise me with mine. He chose the salmon entree, which I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved it. The skin was crispy, salmon was cooked to perfection, the risotto had a burst of flavor, and everything worked well together. Also, it was a gorgeous plate. I wanted dessert but we were so stuffed, we had to pass. But it gives us an excuse to come back and see Marcus.... And try more food.

I gave the shrimp ceviche a try as well--the flavor was on point, however the avocado had seen better days. The shrimp was still a little gray as well. They also have a small selection of refrigerated items such as chorizo (mild & spicy), fresh corn tortillas, tomatillos, and jalapeños. And some shelves of dry goods and religious candles. The star of my dinner was the shrimp ceviche. It was served on a thick tostada that held up to the last bite. The generous portion was bursting with flavors of shrimp, citrus, cilantro & onion and a creaminess from the addition of a little mayo. It was super delish. I'll get this every time. The street tacos were also some of the best I've had (Al pastor & carne asada) and absolutely brimming with the filling. Simple and perfect with the accompanying salsa verde. Let's start with what completely blew me away: the dessert. I'm not even a dessert person, but the toffee cake with ice cream was hands down the best restaurant dessert I've ever had. Absolutely unbelievable. I could've eaten three more. I already can't wait to come back, and honestly, I'd come back just for that dessert. Our sever asked us if we wanted to lick the plate LOL. By the way she was great. Now, the wings. The 5-wing basket with waffle fries is one of the best values I've seen in a long time. The Buffalo wings were fantastic, perfectly cooked with great flavor. The wrap was also excellent--it comes pressed like a panini, which takes it to another level. And those waffle fries... get the Memphis seasoning. The rub is ridiculously good. You can even get that same seasoning on the wings, and it's a game changer. Between the food, portions, prices, and atmosphere, this place absolutely exceeded every expectation I had.
