Croissant sandwich with chicken sausage instead of bacon and sausage. Still AMAZING.

The fall menu is AHMAZING. But and also: GET THE APP. Got in "line" from my bed and pulled up to a line out the door after getting dressed, driving 22 minutes only to wait all of 5 minutes to be seated! The pumpkin pancakes are SOOOOO GOOD. The service is always consistent here and this day was no exception, though I'll say they're slammed in weekends between 10-2 so expect slower service but they're polite and the good news is, the food is ALWAYS consistent.

Make a reservation if you can! I walked in Saturday morning and was told the wait was ~15minutes. I ended up waiting around 35minutes. It was worth the wait though. Blueberry cornbread: really good! Not very sweet so I could have eaten the whole thing. Tomato soup: I'm not a huge fan of tomato soup but it's the only soup on the menu so I decided to try it. It was really fresh with basil in it and not too acidic. I would get it again.

I do love the setup and look of the Silver Spring First Watch. We got there about 1030am and it was a wait so we decided to sit at the bar which was open. I ordered tea, smoked salmon frittata and smoked salmon benedict. Since they have a small selection of STEEP teas that I don't prefer, I ended up getting a boozy drink called Cinnamon Toast Crunch milk. The smoked salmon frittata was ok and I felt that it needed more red onion. I was very impressed with the set up of the place. As per usual, the place got busier as the day went on. It was clean and all staff was professional and courteous.

It's first watch, you can't go wrong lol food was amazing as usual. A little busy since it is a breakfast place, got seating in about 30 mins

Always solid breakfast and great customer service when I go to First watch. The White Oak location is great with ample parking and a fresh new restaurant. The best part of these restaurants is that the floor plan is wide open. A lot more sophisticated than a Dinner and gives more farm to table vibes.

Great food! Fast, hot, and fresh. Service was great until the server dropped our check at the table, then we were pretty much forgotten about. Bright clean place, plenty of seating and no wait for the two of us about 8 am on a Saturday morning.

Another first watch location but now even closer to home! They've left quite a positive reputation in my eyes with their brand but I was quite happy with how the food came out at this location. My boyfriend and I are both healthcare workers that have long hours and odd shifts where we don't actually always get to have a sit down meal. During these times, we try to take advantage of eating together, so he placed an online order for pickup. Food was ready by the time we arrived. My go to is their chicken protein bowl with quinoa. It is so delicious, low calorie and filling (I can never finish it all). From what I've seen outside, the restaurant can get busy but they do a great job managing their orders. I would happily return. It's a casual and family oriented restaurant so fitting for just a meal out.

Loved the fresh ingredients and healthy options. The food was delicious and the service was friendly. A great spot for family breakfast or brunch...we had a party of 12 and they were able to accommodate us. There was a wait, but it was well worth it.

To start, we were seated and waited 15 minutes for someone to address our table, our waitress didn't even introduce herself though she took our orders and though we received our food items we NEVER received any type of water until we were on the way out the door (literally in to-go cups) and we believe the manager received it for us as we had gone the whole meal without it. We each ordered a speciality juice, but that was gone quickly and we spent the rest of our meal with no water whatsoever. Furthermore, our orders were wrong, and the waitress made it seem as though it was a convenience that she would remove the items that we didn't order (extra seasonal bacon) from our receipt without charging us for it meanwhile it was something we never ordered. I ended up with some type of blueberry walnut pancake when I ordered a plain--I'm so glad I wasn't allergic to nuts or blueberries--and the server never came around for me to get it corrected. All in all, this was the very first time I've have a subpar experience at First Watch and I've been going to locations since I was a kid. Our server never checked on our table she took our orders, delivered the food and delivered the check so there was no personability of the service at all. The food and ambiance is always amazing, so no complaints there but if you're looking for the "family friendly feel" that First Watch usually has I wouldn't recommend this location.

This is relatively new place - about 5 months. The place is bright and airy vibe. A great place and a great way to start my day. For my first visit, the service was great. However, for the second visit, there was a disconnect. The waiter that took my order took a interview and forgot about the table that he had - me! I had to flag down someone else to get a refill, a to go order, and my check.. I hope this is one unique situation and not happen again. I always love the food here. First visit, the Omelet was solid. Second visit, got the BEC special. Delicious! It was huge but I couldn't stop eating. I will be back but hope manager would use this as a training...not to forget about your customer.

My favorite brunch place. The food is always so good and I love the seasonal menus. I got the maple bacon croissant and it's delicious! I even splurged for the million dollar potatoes!

Ask the Community - First Watch

Is it serving breakfast at 3:30pm?

The restaurant closes at 2:30 so no. But they serve breakfast as long as they're open. But there are more brunch/lunch options as well.

Rox Cafe is located in the Colesville Business Park, and it's on the front side. These little cafes connected to businesses are worth exploring, I tell ya! The ladies in here were very friendly, and they have great prices. They have sandwiches, smoothies, desserts, drinks, the works. One sandwich stood out, and it was a breakfasty one called the Bernard sandwich. It was described as having egg whites, spinach, turkey, a special mayo, and more on rye bread. It... was... DELICIOUS. I came to find out later that it was named after a pretty regular customer who came up with that. So awesome! This is isn't close to home, but for anyone who is in the area or wants a quiet change in scenery, they've got wifi. Work there, I think it's great!

If I lived near Sunrise Cafe, this would be part of my regular lunch rotation!…read more Did you know that this eatery has been around for about 15 years now?! Wow, and I can see why! This Korean-owned small deli is located on the first floor of the 11720 building - it seems as if the loyal customer base includes the employees of the building as well as those who live in the area. Unfortunately, Korean dishes are no longer on the menu, but you can call ahead and make a reservation for a pickup for a special request, such as bibimbop, bulgogi, fried rice, etc. I think it's incredibly generous and thoughtful that the owner would take the time to customize and make special Korean dishes for her customers! The menu offers cold and hot sandwiches, as well as breakfast options. Since we had already eaten lunch earlier, we tried their Steak & Cheese - this was lovingly prepared, filled generously with steak, fried onions, mayo, and provolone cheese - simple, delicious, and tasty! I'd love to try the rest of their hot and cold sandwich menu and hope to be able to try some of the Korean dishes as well on the next visit. The owner is sweet, friendly, and welcoming, and so humble. There are plenty of seats to dine-in, and there were a few patrons who had their orders to go. Restrooms have their own unique code that is required to gain access. Check this place out - they're only opened during the week. You won't regret it! Overall, I thought my sandwich was fine. The deli has a nice variety of various breakfast and lunch sandwiches, so everyone should find something that they should like. Although the cafe is kind of small, it has a few tables so customers can consume their food on-site, but I think most folks grab their food and go. I thought the gentleman that took my order was pretty nice. He seemed pretty approachable because he knew quite a few customers by their first names. While I would not go out of my way to get a bite from Cafe X-press, I think it's a decent spot for folks who work and/or live within a few blocks of the deli.
