I chose this option because I wanted food and not just coffee. Two options to get your food here. You could sit down and eat or just go through the line, order and leave. I chose to order in line and get to my gate. They have a QR code to see the menu while you wait in line. Now, the line was a bit long but it moved quickly. The waiting is a bit uncomfortable as you are kind of wedge between the people waiting, but you do this pretty much everywhere at any restaurant in the airport. I ordered a latte and the deluxe breakfast sandwich. My favorite part of the sandwich was that the bread was fresh. Food was hot and can we talk about the bacon. It's soooo yummy to get a sandwich that the bacon is legit bacon. Crispy, flavorful and it had a good amount of it in the sandwich. The sandwich comes with a bit of fruit, orange slices and a bit of cantaloupe. Pic attached. Totally recommend!

I don't even know what 67 means anymore, but Nola clearly does. Nola wasn't just a waitress. She was an aura merchant. Every time she walked past the table, the room gained +10 aura. When she brought the food, I swear the entire restaurant briefly entered 67 mode. I've been to First Watch before, but this was different. This was lore. If you're lucky enough to get Nola as your waitress, just know you have been chosen. Mad aura. 67. Five stars. Would return solely to witness the aura again.

I ended up taking my food home and eating it later because I couldn't fully enjoy it after that. Other than the saltiness, everything was great! The food had so much potential and the service definitely made the experience better. I'd be willing to give them another try!

And just like the true southerner I am, I chose the potato salad as my side. I work close by, so I called ahead & was told 20 minutes. When I arrived in 10 minutes, my order was waiting on me. However, because it was lunch time, there was a line, sadly one I had to wait it. Thankfully, I only waited about five minutes & was able to pay & be on my way. The restaurant is cheery & employees seemed happy to be there. The place was hopping, so that was a good sign this place serves up tasty goodness. I returned to work & ate my sandwich & potato salad. The potato salad had red potatoes in it, with the skin still on - not what I'm used to, but still ok. It tasted mustard & mayo based, which I love those two together. The bahn mi was quite delicious with a simple slaw, pork, cucumbers, & Asian dressing. The pork was tender & spicy. The baguette was decent. For the portion size, the price of $8.61 was fine with me. With such variety on the menu, I'll definitely be back. Parking wasn't much of an issue, even though there are many businesses/restaurants in this area.

I stumbled across this hole in the wall thru Yelp of all places. A highly reviewed sandwich shop…read morewith really interesting sounding sandwiches that also offers a free cookie with your meal on Fridays?! I knew had to check them out (on a Friday of course). They had several sandwiches that sounded good but I narrowed it down to two: their fiesta turkey with pepper jack cheese and lime basil mayo and their fried brie with bacon, basil pesto and fig jam. I eventually settled on the fiesta turkey so you can imagine my disappointment when I got home and discovered they gave me the wrong sandwich. It was a rookie mistake not to check before leaving but still. I immediately called them and explained what happened and the woman I spoke to apologized profusely (especially after realizing this was my first time visiting). Since it was Friday and they had just closed (they close at 2pm), and weren't open on the weekends, she told me to come in on Monday and I'd get the right sandwich on the house. That was all well and good but I was hungry now and I had a sandwich, albeit the wrong one, staring me in my face. Not wanting it to go waste, I gave it a try. As luck would have it, after a couple bites I quickly realized it was the fried brie sandwich (the other one I wanted to try) and it was delicious! Very happy accident. The following week I went back and got the fiesta turkey. I enjoyed it, but the fried brie was the clear winner out of the two. The sandwiches are generously sized so you could definitely split it into two meals. All their sandwiches come with a side and I tried their pasta and potato salads. Admittedly I'm not a big pasta or potato salad person so it's hard for me to judge, but if you are I think you'd like them. Based on the way they handled the mix up, the quality of their sandwiches, and Free Cookie Friday, I'd definitely recommend this place. Pro tip: Get any sandwich on their signature focaccia. When it comes to sandwiches, the bread makes all the difference and their focaccia is really good.

So I added them. :) FOOD: Honey mustard glazed salmon with rice pilaf and broccoli; Sirloin steak with red skinned mashed potatoes and broccoli. Both served with an incredible piece of char-grilled sourdough bread with butter. Honestly though...this steak could compete with Outback's sirloin and may even be a little better. I asked for medium-rare and it was delivered a perfect medium rare. It was easy to cut, tender, juicy and flavorful. It may lack the seasonings of an Outback sirloin, but it was a wonderful cut of beef. The potatoes and broccoli were both on point and my plate was left empty. My wife devoured her salmon with just the right amount of semi-pink on the inside. There was nothing left on her plate or our son's who also ordered the sirloin. Helpful service in a nicely decorated small cafe, a nice stop for getting a morning going. The Deets: Deciding to venture out a bit to try some place new, I found Morning Ritual on the trusty Yelp app and headed off to there. It is joined along side The Goat restaurant on the edge of an apartment complex campus near Brier Creek. I like the look of the building and while noticing there is outside seating available, there is a convenient take out window on the side as well. I went inside and liked the warm, inviting but still slightly modern look of the cafe style seating and ordering area. There are a couple of seats within range of a power outlet and there is WiFi but note it is public/no password/unsecured access, it appears. Their menu shows a good array of beverages and eats to satisfy those morning needs. I decided on a 16 oz hot skim latte to drink to enjoy there and then ordered the Egg + Cheese Scramble which has Monterey Jack and Cheddar and served with one of their biscuits. You order and pay at the register/counter then they give you a table number to take to your seat. My beverage came in well enough time to enjoy while I waited on my food order. My latte was so good that I had no need for additions such as sweetener or syrups and I like the mug with it to enjoy in house. Food came in good time as well, looking pretty tempting. The toasted biscuit was good and I liked it but a tad small bit sweet for a Southern type biscuit (the type that I'm used to/grown up with enjoying). The scramble was really great...I usually do not favor getting cheese in my scrambled eggs but everything was delicious here and perfect texture as well as portion on the eggs themselves in a small cafe setting. There's always that challenge in a new coffee shop/cafe in figuring out their used dishes protocol/station but loved that my server saw me searching and happily took my dishes at the counter for me. I enjoyed this first visit to Morning Ritual and can see me visiting in the future, I like it.

Our breakfast ended up coming out before coffee, which made no sense. I had to ask about the coffees before they were actually made. When the girl came from morning ritual She brought out my husbands, hot cappuccino but my mocha out iced and I immediately said I don't drink cold coffee and I did an order iced. Instead of being apologetic, and stating that she would change it, she just snatched the iced coffee and walked away. That was such a strange encounter. It was rude and I got no apology, nor did I get any explanation of what would happen next. I let my server know to ensure I was still going to get a coffee because I can't live without my coffee in the morning! When my Moca loved her honey, oat milk, coffee came I took a sip and was glad i didn't flip out and say "forget the coffee" (as I was already done with breakfast by the time in arrived) because the drink was delicious! If I'm ever back in the area (I was staying in Raleigh but decided to take a little detour into Durham that morning) I'll come to only Morning Ritual to see if I can change this 3 star review for service issues into a 5. For now they need to work on getting coffee service to The Goat streamlined!
