Great food and good portions and our server, Alexa, was really nice. The atmosphere is really homey and comfortable

It was pretty good. Breakfast places are my jam so you'd have to do an awful lot to get five stars from me, and I have a couple that I frequent that I think are a little better. And the prices aren't quite as high. But this was a nice breakfast while on a vacation trip read more

I love first watch! My go tos are the yogurt parfait with a muffin or the oatmeal. I did love their avocado toast! Their coffee is some of the best! This is my first choice for breakfast! read more

My husband and I ate at First Watch on a Sunday and the food was awesome! Our waiter, Tyler took our order and we got our food at a reasonable time. He was welcoming with a smile on his face! Thank you, Tyler! read more

I love First Watch and it did not disappoint. With everything going on for graduation I did not make reservations for Mother's day. We all woke up on Sunday and I suggested First Watch because it is relatively close to me. I know that on the weekends they're super busy so I expected a wait. I found out on my phone that you can add yourself to the list and they'll text you when your table is ready but they also give you a suggested time to arrive by. This was the most convenient thing ever. It allowed us to get ready make a stop at a store and still know that we would be able to have brunch. We arrived a few minutes prior to the 1:12 suggested time and were seated shortly thereafter. They had mini boxes of chocolate for the moms which was really sweet and they made a special brunch menu. Everything was delicious I was able to use my bogo coupon. Most importantly our server was phenomenal. Our receipt said her name was Darci. She was really nice and although it was super busy and crowded she worked and exhibited top notch customer service. They didn't have regular French toast on the special menu she had a solution and provided the toast with the fruit toppings in a side bowl because I really wanted everyone to try the toast because it's so good. Little things like that make me feel like my dining experience is valued. I had the traditional breakfast and it was delicious as usual. My mom had soup and a sandwich which she enjoyed and my Godmother has the same thing I did. I love the preserves they used for the toast it's amazing!! Everyone left full and happy. read more

At first glance the facility was very artistic and down to earth. The first staff person was sweet and helpful and she also took my order after seating me. I was very pleased with the service and the speed at which I received my food after ordering. I had the Works Omelette with a side of avocado and it was awesome. The multigrain bread was excellent as well but the star of the meal was the omelette. I did get the side of potatoes but they were a little under cooked but still great. Thanks again for this great place read more

Great food and great service! Our server was very attentive and made sure my dish was a dairy free. I had the avocado toast with eggs over medium. It was cooked perfectly. My significant had the pancakes with le.on custard. We both greatly enjoyed our meals and plan on trying it out again tomorrow! read more

I ordered the smoked salmon eggs benedict. The pouched eggs were overcooked, and the hollandaise sauce tasted very sour. I did not like the smoked salmon because even that was a little hard. The potatoes were only ones that were ok. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my meal. read more

This First Watch location is close by for me, so I've been several times for breakfast/brunch. I love that they have several healthier options, and that's normally what I order. Both the Power Wrap and the Healthy Turkey omelet are slightly bland, but they're good options if you're watching calories. I have also had the Monterey Club and the Ham & Gruyere Melt, both of which were tasty and a solid hangover cure. One day, I will splurge for a skillet hash - they always look and smell amazing and my boyfriend is a big fan. Overall, great option for breakfast takeout or dine in (with mimosas)! read more

You MUST go to first watch at brier creek!! I was extremely satisfied!!! They have amazing service. The only down side is that there were 5 or 6 girls standing at the front doing nothing but not our waiter. Her name was Krystal! She was a SUPER STAR. Y'all, I'm all about keeping it real! This was the BEST breakfast I've had in a while. Temperature of the food was well worth the wait. I had my cute 1 year old and she was KILLIN the food too! Lol I know service did their best! I hate the effects of COVID on restaurants. read more

Horrible experience the waitress was not attentive didn't get the order right the food was cold the food was overly priced almost 6 dollars for one single pancake five dollars for four pieces of bacon. It's really unfortunate because I was looking forward to having such a great phenomenal time not a great first visit to experience first watch. read more

My boyfriend and I tried this place today.... We were completely disappointed. We went inside and no one greeted us or asked us where we wanted to seat. It took our server about 15 minutes to get to our table and the first thing she gonna say is "y'all want coffee?" Not even Denny's servers are that rude. She left our table and went MIA for another 15 minutes. We looked throughly at the menu and quickly decided what to eat, but she was nowhere to be found. Which was weird for me because the place wasn't crowded they had literally 8 active tables. However we decided to give it a chance since both of us work in restaurants and understand what's up. When she finally got to us, we gave her our orders. He got the trifecta with sausage and eggs with cheese. I got the chorizo with potatoes (forgot the name of the plate) and again she went MIA for another 20 minutes. During that time another waitress brought us our plates and asked us if we needed anything and we asked for two small orange juices. My food tasted like nothing, the sausage in his plate tasted like grease and the eggs were dry even though it had cheese. While we were in the middle of our meal MIA came by and had the audacity to place the check on the table and walked away! Then she came back because she had placed the wrong one In the end. We paid 37 dollars for tasteless food, two 5 ounce drinks, coffee and the cheese my boyfriend got on his eggs...that's right you have to pay 1.69 for cheese on your eggs. What a joke. read more

All I have ever had was the French toast and it was awesome next I wanna try the chimchanga

They're not run as smoothly as the other stores in the area, but the food is consistently good and the service is generally very attentive. The wait is seldom long, probably because this store is larger than some of the others. The paying process can be a bit irritating. On multiple occasions, the line from the register stretched all the way back to the bathrooms, blocking access to the kitchen and causing some jams. Overall, it's a great place to grab a leisurely breakfast/brunch, but expect a less smooth experience than the other stores in the area. Definitely on my list of places to go to when someone asks 'brunch?' and I'm sure the longer they're open, the more consistent they'll be. read more

I've eaten at other First Watch restaurants and always been happy and this time was no exception. A colleague and I decided to have breakfast at a new First Watch in Raleigh. I was happy to see that they were no busy when we arrived as I have always had to wait for a long time for a table at other establishments. The server was very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The were easily able to modify a breakfast dish to make it vegan so I had the Avocado Toast with potatoes instead of eggs. The toast was awesome, but the potatoes were just okay unfortunately. The same was said by my colleague who got the same dish. I would certainly go back as First Watch is a great restaurant. I just wish they had evening hours. :( read more

Definitely a hip concept but lacking in the execution. The decor hits the mark and so do the food descriptions... just not the food itself. It was okay, albeit bland. read more

Food hot and fresh, service top tier, location is amazing. From sitting down with the family, to a quick stop for breakfast. First Watch is the spot. I try something new every time and nothing fails to surprise me. I don't even like eggs but that Bacado omelet showed me that they aren't all that bad. Always a pleasure eating here. Shout out the staff!!! read more

Went here for the first time with my family and it was delicious! Because it's Sunday, it was SLAMMED. Definitely call ahead if you plan on going during the weekend. However, my family members say it's usually a quick in and out during the week. I got the Market Hash and my sister got the lemon ricotta pancakes, which were also really good and bigger than your head! She didn't end up finishing them herself, we had to help lol. If brunch is your thing, check this place out. They have fresh farm ingredients and you can taste it in their dishes. Their decor is also really cute farmhouse style: wooden panel walls, cast irons hung by the kitchen, metal high top stools. If you're gluten intolerant, Udi's toast is available free of charge. You can also substitute egg whites for omelettes/frittatas free of charge! read more

I'll preface this by saying that this is for our experience a month ago and Firstwatch has always been our go-to breakfast/brunch spot whenever we can find one. I was excited when they recently opened in Brier Creek since it was so much closer than the one I've enjoyed on Glenwood. I'll try to make this as short as possible......which probably won't work. The wait: if you go on the weekend, you should expect a wait. They are crazy busy all the time. I'm perfectly fine with that and have no complaints! They have coffee for those who are waiting which is nice. Service: This has always been one of the things I love about First Watch. They are usually very friendly, fast and efficient. I'm not sure what happened when they opened here but our server was non existent. Greeted us within about 5 minutes and said he would be back for drink orders....he came back 10 minutes later. Then said he would be back for our meal orders which took another 10 minutes. So 25 minutes in, we had just placed our orders. Then it took about 19 minutes for the food to arrive which may not seem terrible but is not anywhere close to what we've come to expect from First Watch over the years. When the food arrived, the presentation was terrible. I'm sure they were in a hurry but having already waited 45 minutes, I could have waited 1 more to see a decent looking plate. On top of that, the order of pancakes I had ordered for the table was missing. We had to take it to go because we didn't have time to wait. The bill: 3 coffees were ordered but we were charged for 4. Not a big deal, just an honest mistake. The problem is that it took the cashier 8 minutes to figure out how to void/split off the cup of coffee from the bill. I offered to do it myself if they would let me around the counter but they politely declined. With a line of people forming behind me to pay, it was uncomfortable for all. Lastly, the coupon. We had recently received a couple of coupons. One in an email for $2 off and another hard copy from Burn Athletic also for $2 off. We figured we would only take one to use. Apparently we chose wrong because they did not want to honor the $2 email coupon because they are a franchise store and that is meant for corporate stores. They would have honored the $2 hard copy coupon. Are they entitled to do that? Sure. Is it a way to grow business? Not mine. I'll gladly take my business back up Glenwood and get a true First Watch Experience. read more

2 things overpriced and understaffed. I had been in First Watch many times in Florida so I expected same. Very disappointed in the price hikes..2 people with coffee French toast and breakfast tacos $33! I was shocked at the lack of staff on a Sunday morning and the fact we basically were ignored..like how can you not have sugar on table etc. Will take my money to Toastery and drive a little further read more

Great food and costumer service. Meal came out hot and delicious. Hot and ready. Loved it all

Sunday 25th July. Utilized the First Watch App to do the "Get in line" feature. App stated 10 mins. Arrived 10 mins later, checked in with young man and told "Next in line". AFTER 12 people in 4 groups seated ahead of us we were seated. The food was par. Ricotta infused pancakes, dry and lacking any real "Wow" factor. I ordered the biscuits, gravy topped with easy over eggs. Ok, except came without the eggs and the biscuits were Crunchy!? Bob Evans equal food and perhaps better for less money. read more

Eh, probably won't be back. I will start by saying you can get free coffee while you wait for your table, but if you drink the same coffee from the carafe they leave on the table, its $3 per person. Our server couldn't handle her section. It took her close to 10 minutes to great us after being seated. She had been running frantic between near by tables the whole time we sat there waiting. We immediately ordered because we could tell we would be waiting a while for her to come back otherwise. She then didn't come back for quite sometime, and never bringing us water that we asked for. She was friendly, but so much so that it was super fake and just plain annoying. I got the classic eggs Benedict... Not a fan. I would hardly say it's classic. Not a fan of the bread it was on, the ham was thin sliced lunch meat, there was hardly a tablespoon of hollandaise, and the eggs were cooked so hard I had to ask for new eggs (by flagging down our server who had yet to stop by our table other than the first encounter). I don't remember what my boyfriend got, he liked it fine, but wasn't thrilled. The breakfast potatoes were good. When checking out at the front counter, instead of getting a receipt with a tip line on it, the cashier just blatantly asks "how much would you like to tip your server?". This made me kind of unconformable and put on the spot. I tip based on my service, and even if you were the worst server on the planet I will still give 15%, but tipping any less than 20% without anyone knowing the context makes me feel judged as a cheap person who "should have gotten fast food if you can't afford to tip". So I really didn't like this method. read more

I've been to this location many times. Today was a first. Please know our table was comp'd for everything but it was still horrible. We started off with my friend receiving a dirty coffee mug with lipstick on the rim. We then noticed the server aggressively "scratching" her nose and then handling food. But the best out of all of these things was when I picked up a piece of bacon from my plate to discover a piece of chewed gum under it. Everyone was super nice about it and offered to replace my meal but I couldn't imagine eating anything from there. Won't be back. read more

I want to rewrite my review, because my visit yesterday was pretty good. Better food and service, I have no complaints at all. Maybe we caught them on a bad day last time or the manager took my review seriously as she noted, because I was very pleased & was able to eat every bite this time. My boyfriend also had a better experience. read more

Came here for breakfast just after New Years. This place is brand new and while we have been to the other local First Watch we had not been here yet. The service was top notch along with all the food as well. The only thing that stinks about this place is the parking and it can get kind of crowded. Otherwise, it is a awesome brunch addition to the local area. read more

Eh, was alright. Wasn't terrible but if your potatoes are better than your eggs Benedict then something isn't right. Bacon was cold and not really worth the $. Overall not too bad but not my favorite! read more

We typically eat at first watch every weekend with friends. The service has gone dramatically downhill. Today we sat down at 1:03 and didn't get our food until 1:47. The manager came over and stated that there was a mix up in the kitchen and paid for one of the meals, but by that point everyone's food was cold, and we still hadn't received everything that was ordered. We asked for the check and waited for another 10 minutes when finally we had to leave and decided to go the register to resolve. read more

Stopped by for a brunch for the second time in two weeks, and I haven't regretted either trip. Wait time was manageable both times and the food was divine. The server, "Blu," did a great job tolerating our slightly picky orders, and didn't miss a beat. Highly recommend. read more
