Service is quick and friendly but this location can get crowded during the weekend. Ample parking. Look out for coupons in your mailbox or via their app. Good place for all ages. Glad we tried this place out! The Tri-fecta (waffle), Turkwich, and open faced chicken salad sandwich were hits with us. The prices were lower than we expected, especially from a health conscious establishment. We'll DEFINITELY be visiting again and trying out the french toast. read more

I love First Watch! I love them so much that they got a whole review out of me! LOL. This place has become a special place for my husband and I. We call it "our place." We started out at the Glenwood location. Once we moved to Northeast Raleigh, we were so excited when we found out that the second location would be just mins away from us. The First Watch Crew is so pleasant. The service is always exceptional. Everyone is always greeting us with a smile, lol they even know us by name now. No really they even know my voice when I call in my orders for pick up. My fav's are Ms. Tanya, and Michal. Although they have a pretty big menu I am limited on my food selections. Its all good bc they allow me to customize my entrees. My go to is the Veggie Omelet with the Cheddar and Moz Mix and I get them to add Smoked Salmon with a side of Roasted Potatoes. Restaurant has delicious food but the waitresses at this location are the most nastiest ladies around town. Today my waitress Casey coughed in her hand and proceeded to get my food without washing her hands. I watched this young lady walk in the back and bypass the hand sanitizer and sink. I asked her when she brought my food to the table if she had washed her hands because I saw her cough into her right hand. She lied and said yes. Previously on another occasion we had Tonia as our waitress and she walked around the entire morning wiping the corners of her mouth with her hands and handling food with those same disgusting hands. OK, found this place the other day and glad we did. We were able to put our name on the list before we arrived which I recommend doing if you're going fro brunch because even though it was rainy and crappy, the place was still packed with a long waiting list. Seating is EXTREMELY tight, which I'm not a fan of but the food and service we experienced trumped the uncomfortable feeling of people being all on top of me. This was our first time dining here. It was recommended by one of my co-workers and she had great things to say about the place and the excellence of the food. I must say that she was definitely right. The food didn't disappoint. I had the Salmon Benedict and my Husband had the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. She is tops when it comes to service. The managers are super friendly and always check in. I've been to this location several times and the food is subpar compared to the other First Watch's in the area. However, against my better judgement I ordered to go, from this location. I was admittedly 15 minutes late to pick up my order and was profusely apologetic about the time. However staff was still present in the building, and behind the front counter when I arrived. No one called me to check in on the order once they realized they were closing. When I asked about my order they non chalantly said they might have thrown it away. As if they they hadn't already charged my card for the food. I then hear one of the staff whisper "lucky" under her breath, when they discovered my food was sitting on the counter. The staff was rude from the time I walked in the door. I truly understand the inconvenience of picking up food late. However, that is not an excuse to be completely rude the customer. Either refund me back my money, or hand me my food (that was already prepared before closing) and not be rude because you simply had to hand me food that was already prepared. Thank you! read more

An excellent restaurant with great people and fantastic food. I have been there numerous times, having their omelettes, Pharma hash, bacon and onion hash, and their Beefeater sandwich and greens. Their Reuben is also great. Food is always great quality, quantity and taste. It is a comfortable decor, and the people are very friendly, courteous, and helpful. Went in to have a quick brunch at 2:00 PM today. The person who sat us at our table threw the menus on the table and walked away. Not a great start. Granted, they closed at 2:30 PM, but we entered a half an hour before they closed. Our server was nice enough, but when our food came, I was missing the avocado on my plate. I asked the server about it and she said I was right, it was missing. She went back to the open kitchen area to get it and the cook very loudly said (I could hear him at our table), "She wants avocado, nah, we're closed" and proceeded to run his mouth loudly. There were other employees in that area and the FOH Manager was in the same area, as well, the entire time he was running his mouth. They told him he needed to keep his voice down, but he continued to run his mouth. I asked the waitress for the manager's name and the FOH Manager came to the table. She apologized and offered to remove my meal from our bill. That was fine with me, as my appetite was ruined by his ridiculous behavior. I will not be patronizing this establishment again. If I was the manager there, that employee wouldn't have a job. He's giving First Watch a bad name and an even worse reputation. Don't waste your money. read more
