Meh. Quite a long wait for mediocre food and mediocre/sub par service. I have the Elote Street Corn Hash and my friend had the Farmhouse Hash... pretty good sized portions. At a place like this is expect higher quality/more options for coffee, and fresh squeezed orange juice, not something that tastes like Sunny D. Food is an amazing selection of healthy alternatives to the common breakfast locations that offer usually processed fatty options. If your local to the area, this is the spot for your morning meals. Our waiter, Jesus, is always very welcoming and an excellent representation of how positive the customer experience should be. Our fist impression of this new location was an awesome experience since we didn't realize we showed up within minutes of their closing hours until after we began to order. We got our food after waiting 53 minutes. One dish was completely wrong out of 5 meals. When the food arrived I asked the manager for the check and togo boxes. This is my first time here even though I pass by it on a regular basis. I was able to put us in line through the NoWait app. Host/Hostess was friendly. Our waitress, Anna, was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the Sunrise Granola Bowl and a chocolate chip pancake, and the Trifecta with a blueberry pancake. First time visitor and I was impressed. To begin with, the coffee was good and not your average run of the mill restaurant coffee. We ordered the Wake Up Call juice drink and it was quite pleasant. Coconut water, honey and lemon that was flavorful, light and the sugared cayenne rim was a nice touch. For entrees, we had the Chile Chorizo Omelette, Power Breakfast Quinoa Bowl and a side of the Million Dollar Bacon. Okay, first things first. I do like quinoa, however it has it's time and place and for breakfast I am not eating something that looks like bird seed. That being said, the dish comes with quinoa, Italian sausage, roasted crimini mushrooms, tomatoes, kale, Parmesan, evoo and topped with two eggs. The sausage gave the dish some balance and flavor and it rounds out nice. However, the star of my show was the Chile Chorizo Omelette. Chorizo, avocado, green Chile's, roasted onions, cheddar and Monterey Jack topped with sour cream. Every bite made it that much easier to ignore the birdseed! All kidding aside, the omelette was well presented and an excellent choice. I also had a side of the roasted potatoes. Well seasoned and prepared perfectly, firm exterior and a nice, soft middle. The artisan bread was wonderful. A thick slice with a great crust and a considerable texture. Well done. I have always believed that the only thing better than bacon is bacon wrapped in bacon and I normally don't associate bacon with dessert. Do yourself a favor and order the Million Dollar Bacon. Four slices of hardwood bacon baked with brown sugar, black pepper, cayenne and a maple syrup drizzle. Gooey, sweet beginnings followed by the correct amount of heat and pepper on the finish. It was a treat. Jeff was our server and did an excellent job. He had some good suggestions and took good care of us. Oh the service you ask. The servers who brought out our food was absolutely nice but my server who took our order for a table 21/1 guest of 2 ticket 10093 by the name of Stevie was just TRASH! Let us begin. The wait time was 45mins it was not a bother, it was Mother's day, so I get it, the wait will be long. That's not the issue though. We got to our table and we are excited. We already know what we want to order. Stevie is our server. We placed our drinks order, he came back with our drinks we asked for straws. He didn't have any straws on him. No biggie. He will be back. Stevie took a whole 5 mins to return with straws. Before he came back i notice all servers (except Stevie of course) had straws in their apron I kindly ask one of the servers going by if I can have 2 straws. We got our straws from this server who was not Stevie. By the time Stevie came back he was sharing out straws to all the tables he was servicings. Apparently everyone had the same request. My friend said hey do our server looks like he is out of it. I said i have not really notice it. By the time Stevie came back with the straws he said oh u got straws. We said yes, can we place our order? He said sure. We placed our order. My friend wanted a hot chocolate to come out with her meal. Okay cool. Fast forward. Our food server came he was super friendly gave us our order everything looks great and was correct. The hot chocolate came out like it came from a scene from Disney. Just beautiful and delicious. About 3-5 mins here comes Stevie with a dull cup of hot chocolate. He said oh you have ur hot chocolate already we said yes it came out with the food (in my mind: yea like we requested)my question was why did his hot chocolate look so dull. No whip cream with chocolate drizzle? He said you can have this one I said no that's okay, my friend said as long as you don't charge us for it. Smh. Any who, by this time, I'm noticing that Stevie looks tired or just out of it, not engaging with us. He was like a zombie from the walking dead. As we took our first initial bits Stevie brought us the bill and said no need to rush. In my mind im like are you kidding me the bill already! He did not offer us any water, extra napkins, nothing. He visited our table the least compared to the others around us. As he passes back and forth to other guests I would looked at him from the corner of my eyes and see he would only look at our table by the time his back is towards us. I notice another table they got their bill after he picked up their plates. Do you know when he picked up our plates........ at 2:30pm time of closing. Out of the other 3 tables that i saw him servicing we were there first and left last. Oh we finished our meals way before the other tables left (in case you were wondering). As we were leaving the cashier asked how was everything. I said hmp the food was great but server not so great. We were offered to speak to the manager as there were complaints already made on Stevie. I declined. First Watch if you're reading this my only suggestion is to re train Stevie. Omg ! This place is the best brunch I have ever been too !!!! The menu was simple yet healthy! When you walk in people are happy and you are instantly greeted. The hostess is happy and warming! I ordered and amazing omelette and the meat was fresh the egg was nice a fluffy, it was like looking at a food from the cartoons. Yep I said it! The presentation of the food was just too perfect. I love how they put the green salad next to your very great portioned omelette. Our waitress was also very sweet. I love to eat spicy and she tried everything to accommodate us! If your on a diet or love to eat fit food, come here, why cook? Lol I recommend everyone to come here at least once! Place is very clean, it gets pretty packed as well. I left full and satisfied. Great breakfast/brunch food. No alcohol, so if you are looking for mimosas, keep going. But they have tons of delicious and even healthy menu items. The breakfast quinoa bowl is outstanding-- also the eggs Benedict, breakfast tacos, multigrain pancakes, chia pudding bowl, and especially the shrimp & grits when that's on the menu (seasonal). The juice is also good: the Kale Tonic and Morning Meditation (ombré! Instagrammable!). The one bad thing: the coffee is terrible. It's a really light roast and brewed weak. The iced coffee is not good either (I tried). To add insult to injury, you don't get real cream to try and redeem the bad coffee-- just those little shelf-stable packs of half & half or international delights oil-based flavors--ugh. It surprises me that a place so focused on local and sustainable food would have fake-tasting cream with non-environmentally-friendly packaging. I would absolutely pay extra for a french press full of french roast and a little pitcher of half & half. However--it says something about the quality of the food that we keep returning even though the coffee is undrinkable. There's a Starbucks in the kroger in the same parking lot where you can stop before and grab a cup of decent coffee while you wait for your table--that's what I recommend. read more

I love this place! The staff is so sweet every single time I come in. I watch my 3-year-old little cousin during the week and he LOVES coming here to see his friends on staff :-) The prices are pretty reasonable for REAL, quality ingredients. And the portions always leave me feeling satisfied. I love the avocado toast most of all! It's just mashed avocado, lemon and sea salt, but it's delicious.
