    Chimichurri Steak & Eggs Hash
    Sydney N.

The seasonal Chimichurri Steak and Egg Hash was delicious! Staff was friendly and attentive, food arrived in a good amount of time. No wait on a Monday morning for brunch. Bright airy vibe, everyone was enjoying themselves.

This is my favorite breakfast or brunch spot. The many menu options are great and the portion sizes perfect for a healthy meal. I had a salad and tomato basil soup which was delicious. Topped if off with a healthy power drink option. Attentive service and wonderful food!

I have not tried this location before and haven't eaten at a first watch in a while. My daughter and I decided to check it out . When we entered the restaurant, we were sat right away. Our server came to the table and greeted us. She was very nice and took our drink order. She came back to the table in minutes with our drinks and gave us some input on the menu. She strongly suggested, ordering off the seasonal menu since it's ending in a couple days. We ordered off their seasonal menu. For a starter we ordered the bacon cornbread and the BEC sandwich and the turkey sausage biscuit and gravy. Our cornbread came quickly, and the food came shortly after. The cornbread was tasty, and I really enjoyed the sweet butter on top of it. We actually asked for additional butter. I'm so happy we did. Everything we ordered was amazing. Our eggs were done perfectly.. soft scrambled. I would definitely recommend FW and plan on returning.

First time going to First Watch and excellent ambience. You walk in and the dining area is wide and open with natural lighting. They do have a bar area indoor and outdoors. The food delicious!!! A total of 5 of us that went and were able to pick something different from the menu as shown on the pictures below. Everything was delish with no complaints whatsoever. We will definitely be going back to try other things in the menu.

    Market hash

I came in for breakfast on a Sunday morning with a friend and we were quickly seated. I ordered the market hash and got my eggs poached. I didn't love how the eggs came out and the dish itself was a little lacking in flavor. Our waitress was nice but she gave us the check super early on which I find to be poor service. This first watch location is very spacious inside.

Wow wow wow!!! First Watch never disappoints, and this experience is by far the the best I've ever had with them! From getting seated to leaving was a 45-minute no-rush experience. It was pretty much flawless! The food quality, the atmosphere, and the service were all spot on. I love breakfast places anyway, but this visit made me love breakfast even more! I'll 100% come back!!

    Lemon Ricotta Pancakes

I've been to another First Watch location on several occasions, but have heard this one is a bit unique with its placement near the Ahwatukee Foothills. I wanted to check it out for myself as I know the views are very breathtaking in this area. We were greeted quickly and immediately had our table, even though it was fairly packed. Service was done with a smile and everyone was friendly. All pluses in my book! The only drawback was it was on the noisy side, making conversation slightly challenging at times, but still very enjoyable. I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes with strawberries. The pancakes were slightly on the dry side and needed a few more minutes soaking in syrup to really hit the right spot. The strawberries and lemon custard definitely helped though, kinda shook things up a bit and added a juicy yet creamy consistency to each bite and great flavor. I enjoyed it! On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd definitely hit it again! Seems like there's a number of spots in Ahwatukee I have yet to experience that I need to explore!

This located recently opened in my neck of the woods and I had been wanting to try it! Naturally, going during the holidays it was likely busier than usual as the place was packed upon entering. Despite that, we were able to be seated immediately. It WAS in the middle of the restaurant and slightly uncomfortable- but something I can easily speak up about if it happens again. Service was excellent; everyone was friendly and efficient. I ordered the avocado toast which was plentiful and tasty. The toast itself was a bit dry/chewy but the topping was great! All in all, it was a nice breakfast place and I'd likely return and hopefully we can try more things in the future!

We had a great experience! We waited no longer than 5 minutes on a Sunday morning. Everyone who attended to us was very friendly and helpful. I made a comment to who I believe was the manager, that I had not known about this location, we had a nice conversation about their 1 year anniversary being around the corner! I'm glad to have first watch a little closer to home. The food was delicious!! I religiously get the chickenchanga and it has not let me down once.

Do not buy this drink it does not look like the picture. It does not taste good it is gross.

The wait is long Friday - Sunday, but it's worth it. The food is delicious. We were pumping gas and I thought oh wow I could use the works omelette and here we are. This location is relatively new. Its design is gorgeous, it has a farmhouse look to it.

    Pineapple Express and purple haze

I met my parents here for an anniversary brunch yesterday and it was a great time! I've been to First Watch before, but not to this location. My mom and I got there about 10-15 minutes before my dad did (there was a miscommunication) but the staff were all really nice and understanding that we were waiting for him. While we were waiting, my mom and I got drinks - she got their Purple Haze and I tried the Pineapple Express. The Purple Haze is my go-to when I come to First Watch, so I already knew it would be delicious. Hence, I tried something different. My drink was fruity and sweet and absolutely divine. I'm very happy with my choice to try it out. I opted to indulge in their biscuit and gravy breakfast, which came with eggs and a side of potatoes. I am such a fan of biscuits and gravy, and that's how I usually judge a restaurant I've never been to before - how good their biscuits are. I was pretty impressed! It was turkey sausage, and was quite flavorful. The biscuit could have been a tad less dry, but it was nothing to lose a star over or complain about, really. The potatoes were delicious, as always, and seasoned to perfection. The eggs were surprisingly good too. I'm really picky about the texture of the eggs I eat and usually restaurants do not fit that need, but First Watch definitely came through. The eggs were fluffy and delicious. My mom ordered their elevated egg sandwich (sans mayo) and my dad got their steel cut oatmeal, with blueberries. I've personally had their elevated egg sandwich and it's honestly my usual order, so I definitely agree with my mom that it's a solid breakfast. While I've never indulged in their oatmeal, my dad was impressed with it - he even got his choice of milk, which was pretty cool. Our server was training a newbie, and they both did a great job. Attentive, prompt, and very nice to interact with. They explained that we could pay by scanning a QR code or up at the front. We opted to scan the code - quick and painless! If you've read any other review of mine, you'll know that I'm hard of hearing and often struggle in public places because of music and background noise. While the music playing could be heard (even by me, so it may have been louder than I thought lol) it wasn't crazy loud and my parents and I didn't have to yell across the table to hear each other. That was nice, too. If you're looking for a solid breakfast/brunch/lunch spot, I recommend checking out this First Watch. They're open from 7am until 2:30pm, so whether you're an early bird like me or a sleeper-iner, there's a way to make it work.

What a fun experience, starting from the good humor of the host. The pineapple express and kale refresher drinks were fantastic! Lots of fresh nutrients and ingredients. The upgraded sides were spot on, adding alllll the bacon. The price was perfect and nice big plates, we both had leftovers. They even have a generous military discount. Must try!

Ham & Gruyère Melt w/vegetable soup

8/3/24 is my third visit since they have opened this location. This review is strictly on visit two and three. This location is very average compared to other locations I visit on a regular basis. I fully understand this location has not been opened for 90 days yet. My Mom lives close by so I will be back again. My regular sandwich is the same as other locations. The soup.... Not sure if it's a warm up ready to go soup in a bag or from concentrate type. The vegetable soup today was off. Very little broth to it as I've had at other locations, but the taste was off as well. I hope that the store manager is able to get this crew and location up and running at a more efficient pace!

Aggressively mediocre. From the concept, to the food, to the service-there's nothing to get excited about here.

The interior is pretty long with a large number of seating inside the building so we had no trouble getting seated right away by the hostess. We decided on food relatively quickly due to previous experience with the business, however, our waiter never came around to take our orders or even give us water at the table. We saw one girl with dyed hair who unassumingly could have been our waiter since she was in our section but only worked with one particular table and ran to the back after each time, but never addressed our table or came by. We eventually had to flag a different waiter down who was able to help us place the order and service us for the rest of our visit, she also informed us that this other "Waiter" was supposed to help us but she wasn't sure why she never made an attempt to do so after having us wait 20 mins and other tables were being serviced. We ordered Flordian French Toast and Elote Breakfast Burrito (plus a couple sides and drink) which were both really good, and filling. Prices weren't too bad for what we ordered and was able to take our mind off of the rather long wait to get helped. Not sure if we'll come back to this particular location again, but it was nice trying the restaurant out another time.

One thing to know is there is no table service. You order at the counter and they have a lot of choices so if you have never been there it's hard to decide while other people are waiting behind you. I came with my mom and we were craving pancakes so again didn't get any eggs which is what they are known for and their breakfast pizzas. So I'll come back to try those. We split buttermilk pancakes and a cinnamon roll. They do have real maple syrup but of course they up charge for the good stuff. The pancakes are ok but don't taste like buttermilk pancakes. They looked good but it definitely tasted like a mix and not a good one. They were way overly sweet. They weren't terrible but just not great. 4/10 on the pancake scale. The cinnamon roll also tasted like a store bought premade roll. It was also kind of burnt and didn't taste like anything. The only good thing was the coffee which I was highly skeptical about because it was serve yourself from a carafe. But it was good and strong. Nice views of the mountains and the patio is dog friendly. I want to like this place because it's in my neighborhood so next time I'll try the eggs dishes. Also they have several veggie/vegan selections so I'll come back for those too and to bring my dog.

The staff was friendly throughout our stay, and the overall property has a relaxing atmosphere that makes it easy to enjoy the sunshine and scenery. We booked an upgraded suite with a separate bedroom and TV room, which gave us plenty of space to spread out. While the layout was great, the room itself could use some updates. The bathroom fixtures were older--the Kohler toilet didn't flush well and was a bit noisy, and the tub/shower combo had rounded sides that made it tricky to stand comfortably. The shower water also never got fully hot. The room had a slightly musty smell, and the carpets would benefit from a deep cleaning. The balcony screen door didn't close tightly, which let a few flies in, and access to the second floor required two sets of stairs since there's no elevator in that section. Even with those issues, the resort's location, views, and overall vibe made the stay enjoyable. With some room refreshes and a bit more maintenance attention, this could easily be a standout property. The setting alone is worth experiencing.

I found a great AAdvantage Hotel deal at the Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort and booked it. While it was a great success of a visit in terms of AAdvantage miles and loyalty points, my actual experience at the hotel itself was less to be desired due to the customer service and a big snafu on their part. I also have Hilton Gold status, though as I booked the hotel through a third party site (AAdvantage Hotels), I could see the stay and the stay history in my Hilton app, but I did not receive any benefits for staying there, which was fine as I didn't expect any anyone. I arrived in person to check in and already reserved and prepaid for a King 1 Bedroom Standard Suite, which had a nice view and reasonably spacious room (but not too much larger than a regular room at another hotel). The room was certainly not upgraded though there was parking available right in front of the entrance. I did not receive anything else at check-in nor did it appear that I'd get my regularly complimentary water. I did pay the daily resort charge which includes high speed internet access, access to the Falls Water Village, an hour at the tennis/pickleball court, an hour at the afternoon golf practice facility, two hours for a mountain bike rental, 20% off seasonal spa services, and 15% off select golf apparel. While I didn't use it, I had easy view and access to the Falls Water Village where you could lounge and play all day on their sun-marked terrace where you could find free-form pools, hot tubs, and cabanas. They even have a 138-foot enclosed water slide. When I checked out, I was told that a bill would be sent to me shortly since I did it on the app early, and when I received the bill, there was a charge for my room at the restaurant at the top of the hill called A Different Point of View. The catch is that I never went to eat there during my stay (or at any onsite restaurant since I live in the area and had my meals offsite). I reached out to the hotel who insisted that I did go there to eat. I promised them I didn't eat anywhere onsite and that they need to look at the receipt and see if it actually has my room number. They confirmed it did and that this meant I ate there. I told them to find my name on it and let me know if it was on there. After several more back and forth conversations, they confirmed it wasn't me and would remove the charge. They then mistakenly charged me double. Then they removed one charge, but it took more than a week before they removed the other charge. By the end of the exchanges, it felt like they were blaming me for their own mistake. While the resort is aged and rather pleasant, there certainly are training issues regarding the customer service offered at this property. I do not plan on staying here again in the future.
