Visiting from the northwest for a convention, it's always a little scary finding a place to eat breakfast. This place did NOT disappoint!! Party of five (used to good dining) came for breakfast, seated right away. We were assured by John, the waiter, it would get a lot busier and by the time we left, they were right! We ordered the avocado toast as an appetizer even though it comes as a meal in itself. It was the best I have ever tasted. I ordered eggs Benedict with the salmon instead of ham - it came on ciabatta which had the perfect crunch to it. Frittata salmon was good, as well as one of the skillets, the Healthy Turkey (an omelette), and the Elevated Egg Sandwich. Salad came with most of the meals except the Skillet and while surprising, they were lovely to have in The morning. Sometimes you leave feeling heavy and bloated but this morning I feel ready to face the day!! Good show, Phoenix! read more

The food here at First Watch is quite good. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the service we've had here thus far. From the moment we sat down, our server really seemed less than enthusiastic to actually help us. She didn't introduce herself, dropped off our water, then walked away and barely said a word to us the whole time we were there. It got to the point where I was the one saying thank you to her for her service, just to see if she would even acknowledge us. Needless to say, we didn't leave a very good tip. As someone who enjoys eating at different restaurants, there is a certain level of professionalism and customer service that I expect. A simple, "Good morning and thanks for coming in" from our waitress, Desma, would have been appreciated. Instead, it was almost as if she was upset that we were eating there to begin with. Good food.....poor service. read more

A good place, but perhaps a little... confused. We had never been to a First Watch before, so were excited to try this one out. Our hostess took great pains to tell us how this location was focusing on using fresh, local ingredients in everything. She then set down a pot of coffee for us and let us look over the menu. We poured the coffee and realized the only creamer we could get wasn't fresh or local, but was little pre-packaged creamer cups on the table. Being a fan of local coffee roasters, when she came back I asked where the coffee beans came from and she said it was their own brand and packaged out of state. She made a point of telling me I could buy some when I left. So the first two things the fresh and local focused place did was offer us fake creamer and out of state roasted beans. We were getting nervous. Fortunately things picked up from there. I tried the avocado toast, which was fantastic. No skimping on the avocado here, and it was lightly seasoned to let the natural taste shine through. My wife had a skilled, which was also really well done and tasty. They have a nice section of their menu focusing on healthy and lighter fair, which I'm looking forward to trying on future visits. We could tell the staff was new, but they were trying hard and I'm sure they will work out the kinks shortly. The place is cute and decorated well, and their patio looks promising when it cools down a bit. I was surprised when I was asked to name a tip amount at the register rather than being able to write it on the receipt like most places, but perhaps that is how all the First Watches do it. So I think my concern came from the way they set expectations. If they hadn't been touting fresh and local so much I probably wouldn't have wondered about it. The coffee was good no matter where it came from, but I do think the creamer-cups were a bit cheesy. We'll definitely be back, but we'll pay less attention to their branding and focus on finding more dishes we like as much as the ones we had today. read more

The breakfast sandwich was incredible! Sweet honey combined with savory bacon. The juices were also fantastic! Highly recommend. I'm still thinking about the breakfast two days later. read more

First Watch cornered this new location and their menu is yummy! First impression on a late Thursday morning is Assume a Seat Yourself. Rolled silverware is left across the table, in lieu of near guest. Booths not fully cleaned. Egg overcooked within grilled sourdough bread. Beau's eats were traditional eggs and bacon. Multigrain toast and sourdough could both be improved with a local bakery. Cashier walks away before we sign off on the check... there was a thank you there somewhere. read more

One of our favorite breakfast spots. Their fancy pants pancake is the BEST pancake in town. Very filling... so share it with someone. Great coffee and egg omelettes too. read more

This is our favorite place for breakfast when in the area. We've had consistently great service and food. Although there is usually a wait, it's never long and quite worth it. read more

I live within walking distance of this place and have been here three times. The first time, awesome! Ham and gruyere melt - delicious. Kale tonic - wonderful. Even good and efficient service. The second time, after being seated, it took 20 minutes to be acknowledged by a server and the food wasn't quite as memorable. This morning, my third visit, was not good. That same, perfect temperature sandwich with the melted cheese was cold, cheese not melted and the ham seemed dry. My friend had the roast beef sandwich which was too greasy to eat and she sent it back. The servers seemed overworked and distracted and the manager seemed to be irritated with whatever was going on. The place was busy but I was disappointed. I'm sad to say I'll miss that sandwich.. read more

Horrible experience here. To start it off it was unclear where the host stand was when I approached what I thought to be the stand I was looked at like I was an alien. When seated I ordered a hot coffee and my cup was incredibly dirty. Food eventually arrived and we did not even have utensils to eat. When brought, the utensils were dirty as well. Not surprising. My food was so cold it was repulsive. Overall horrible customer service and location. Ive eaten at other first watch but this has ruined my view of this place. read more

We come here about once a month and each time we go we enjoy the food and the service. We rarely have a wait but the weekends are clearly more crowded than the weekdays. However there is a wait list link from yelp that allows you to put your name on ahead of time....nice!!! They have a variety of food from healthy high protein options to scrumptious high calorie confections. The bread and the baked goods are fresh and delish. The salads are usually a spring mix and they have a nice vinaigrette they put on a side salad I like it quite a bit. I would highly recommend this location as the customer service is second to none. read more

No complaints here. Super friendly service with solid fare. Plenty of parking too. Will repeat.

Nice location and very prompt and friendly service. They have the best flavored coffee I've ever had at a First Watch.

This place is the bomb. Great healthy choices that taste better than we could have imagined. Fast friendly service with great coffee and a clean atmosphere read more

Good breakfast joint with food that's not too greasy, I love the avocado toast and they have hmgood waffles too... well priced

Very nice breakfast/brunch place! We got the egg benedicts with salmon and biscuits and gravy. My favorite part about egg benedicts is the hollandaise sauce; unfortunately I was quite deceived with this one: it wasn't as flavorful and creamy as I expected. The biscuits and gravy however were amazing!! I really enjoyed the fact that the gravy is made with Turkey sausage, and it really tasted amazing! The service was also very friendly. Will definitely go back to this place but might look for something else than egg benedicts next time, since a lot of things on the menu sounded great! read more

Great breakfast spot with a nice enclosed patio. Make sure to get the iced coffee. Service was pretty good as well.

This is a good breakfast place, great portions, amazing atmosphere and super yummy food!! The only thing is the wait!! But good food is definitely worth it read more

I enjoyed breakfast with my husband this morning and will definitely be back! We loved the location and the early opening (6:30am) on a Sunday. The cozy patio was perfect for outside dining especially since the dining room was a bit too cold first thing in the morning. I had the Yogurt, fruit and granola bowl and it was great. The granola was made in-house and was delicious, however the muffin served room temp was forgettable. My husband had the Frittata had he enjoyed it but did say it was a bit overcooked. The portions are generous and the service is outstanding. Our server was Lauren B and she was perfect! My husband already passed on the good review to his dad. read more

This is the best place I have had breakfast yet in Phoenix. I loved every second of it. The atmosphere is extreme trendy and inviting for an upscale sophisticated breakfast. You feel as if they are putting in as much effort in the food as they are in the experience. Everything is good and the service is fantastic. It is a bit pricey but it is worth every bit. I would highly recommend to make a trip here...you won't be disappointed. read more

We originally went to a different breakfast eatery across the street, but they were packed and had a 20 minute wait. So, when we stumbled across First Watch we were pleasantly surprised. We were seated immediately, and the food and service was GREAT! We've dined at several other First Watch restaurants across the country, and this was our best experience. read more

We decided to do a staycation in the Biltmore area before summer commences, and we're not very impressed with this First Watch location. We love our avocado toast and often eat at the First Watch location in Scottsdale; however, our service here in the Biltmore area was sub-par. My mother in law found a hair in her side of sausage, and our waitress (Ashleigh) had little to no facial expression or affect. Maybe there were other precipitating factors. We were not offered water, nor was she receptive of our order. I guess we just became too acclimated to the amenities of the Scottsdale location. read more

Watch out. Signs of cost cutting everywhere. They use processed chicken in their pesto chicken bowl (it looks nothing look like the owners picture). The chili omelette has canned chills. They give you fake creamer packets at the table instead of real cream. No splenda at the table. read more

Really disappointed in First Watch today. Made an app reservation around 11:30am today to take my youngest daughter for a Valentine's Day brunch. The app said to arrive around 12:26pm for a 12:31pm seating. Got there and told the wait was 45-50 minutes. Never experienced this at First Watch. Pressed a bit and was then told 30 minutes and to go wait outside in the parking lot. First bad experience at this establishment, but not a good day to mess up someone's plans. Makes it worse when your daughter is autistic. read more

service was horrific and took 40 minuted just for the server to bring us water like we asked. Me and my friend were genuinely confused as to what she was doing because we could see her by the kitchen just talking with her co-workers. I'm writing this as we are still here and she brought the check and STILL no waters. we went the whole meal without drinks all because KIARA decided to be lazy and careless about her one table that she was serving because hardly anyone else was here. Dont come here unless he have time on your hands because you gonna be here for a while if u want drinks AND a meal. read more

The quality of food and drinks here is always on par. The service and speed times can vary, even when it's slow it's taken us 25 mins to get a bagel and avocado toast. The Avodado Toast and scrambles with a side of bacon are always our go to. Juices aren't for everyone but if you find a flavor you like here, it's delish. Great big patio, good for small and large groups. Come here often. read more

I have always been a fan of the First Watch chain. This was my 1st visit to the Camelback location. I ordered the trifecta and coffee. Had to send the trifecta back. The pancake was dark brown and the bacon was burned to a crisp. The coffee was sooooooo bitter. The waitress at the cash register said it was "something in the tap water". No emotion. Not going back to that location. read more

New favorite breakfast place in the valley! My friend and I were seated right away for brunch, no wait. My eggs Benedict was fabulous and the vanilla coffee was amazing! This Saturday morning at 7:40am I had breakfast, the food was fantastic yet I found it interesting that there were several tables around me that were dirty with dishes and my waitress (with a rose tattoo on her arm) had a enough time to sit and eat at a table; I found this odd and disconcerting. read more
