We came in Saturday morning around 10am and we were told the waiting time is 30 minutes. And here we are one hour later, 8 parties ahead of us. There is an angry waitress starting taking ppl's order while they are standing up while there are plenty of tables open, hostess is instructed not to seat anybody because kitchen is backed up. Tell your customer your real wait time! Just because you have an app showing your place in line, is not going to make your customer experience better! I really don't know what's good about this restaurant that worth me come back, fried egg with gold flakes on top? Or waffle cranked out of thin air? The couple waiting next to us were talking, they don't know what they want anymore because their breakfasts just became lunch, lol. What a joke! read more

This has been one of my favorite brunch spots since it opened up in my neighborhood. The iced coffee is one that cannot be compared, and it is always prepared just the right way by Justin. Somehow he ends up being my waiter 9 times out of 10 when I come here and it is always a pleasure to find out that we get to meet yet again. Such an awesome guy at doing his job and is always in the best mood. If you get him as your server you will most definitely have the best experience! read more

I have this restaurant another shot as the manager was kind enough to send my family a coupon to come back. I will say that the service is great and the atmosphere is fine; however, the food just isn't great. The skillet potatoes with onions are phenomenal but nothing at this place stands out. I got the biscuits and gravy this time around and they were just lacking. The food just isn't quality. I stand by my two stars. read more

This was one of the best meals I had while visiting Houston! Darrius was an excellent waiter and most personable and accommodating! I ordered from the "healthiest " category and really enjoyed my cafe free eggs over multi grain toast" great food and we all ate everything on our plate... I would come back again and hope to get Darrius for our waiter in a booth! I hope to find a First Watch restaurant when we return to Colorado...excellent food and friendly , well lighted and enjoyable atmosphere and great place to eat!! read more

Most of my traditional breakfast was excellent. Coffee is premium and service was awesome. I would say not enough waiters with the amount of guests. Had about a 10 min wait. The place was packed at 9:30 on a Saturday morning and even more so when we left. California style menu and atmosphere, so for healthier eaters, I guess. The eggs were excellent and loved the multigrain toast, but the potatoes could have been cooked more. Overall I was impressed and will go back to try other things. read more

Went for the first time yesterday. Got the Ham and gruyere sandwhich. Plus a waffle. Was amazing. This kind of place is exactly what Pearland needs! IHOP and Denny's get really old with the food that sometimes feels like it's been microwaved or has old turkey from the other day stuffed in your turkey and avocado Bennie. When you're looking for a better breakfast joint with fresh food, amazing sandwiches, light and fluffy waffles and great service this is where you need to stop! My mother and sister got the eggs Benedict and really enjoyed that as well. My kids got the grilled cheese(well above par for a kids grilled cheese at normal restaurants) and a huge chocolate chip pancake(I'm not a huge fan but my daughter loved it) Definitely going to make this our new stop for breakfast and brunch! read more

Great food but they keep the temperature at sub zero in there , so your gonna need to bring a polar expedition jacket or your gonna freeze !

This is my second time eating here & every time the service has been SO slow. Waited over an hour for a party of 3 on a Saturday morning. We got sat down & ordered our food which took another hour to get then our server completely disappeared. He didn't check on us or anything. This place has a good atmosphere & is designed all cute like & the food is good but I definitely feel that it's not worth the hassle. I really wanted this place to be worth the hype but it just wasn't. Probably won't be coming back. read more

We were told that the wait time was 45 minutes which turned out to be fairly accurate. However it could've been much shorter if the hostesses showed even the slightest sense of urgency. At one time I looked around the restaurant and saw 8 EMPTY TABLES that were clean and waiting for the next customers to be seated. The waitress was friendly and took our order fairly quickly. However, once the drinks and food were served she never checked up on us again. No refills. No follow up. When we were first seated it took her almost 30 seconds to pour each cup of coffee because the lid on the coffee pitcher was so slow. It was laughable (and ridiculous). The meal was tasty and served hot. But it takes a while before the food arrives. The decor is pleasant and the building is new and clean. I may return once the buzz dies down and you don't have to wait so long for a table. Hopefully they'll train their hostesses and servers by then. read more

I'm writing this as I'm getting ready to come here again. The iced coffee is delicious, the staff is wonderful, and it's located in a nice area. I love all the healthy food options they have! First Watch is probably my favorite little breakfast place! read more

Decided to check this place out after all the reviews, but I won't be returning. After waiting 40 minutes to be seated, our waitress quickly bought us our menus, but that was the end of efficient service. It took ONE hour for our food to come out only for it to be the food for the table next to us, the waitress apologized and then went back to the kitchen to get our food (floridian pancakes and the works omlet) which was cold and missing the side of extra eggs we ordered. We were so hungry we ate the cold food, and when the bill came it included the order of eggs that never came, at this point we had been quiet but that was the last straw, slow service and cold food. I will not be returning! read more

Service, Food and cleanliness have been great!! It's nice to have this establishment near our home, where good food with healthy choices are made available. Not to mention the reservation website for quick sitting. I do recommend this place. - Mary read more

LOVE THIS PLACE. I have to give it lots of stars, because the food is great and this is a unique addition to our part of Pearland. They are also very helpful with food allergies/special dietary needs, which I appreciate so much. My only wish would be an improvement in the coffee. It's not bad at all... it's just not yet great, and coffee is something we want to be great. Impressed with the service every time (I've been at least 6 times) and never not enjoyed the food. So glad to have First Watch in the neighborhood. read more

Three times now I've been here and three times I've been beyond upset. The first time they took forever to bring out our food and it was just "meh". Definitely not worth what it ended up costing. They need new kitchen staff, or waitstaff, or heck, MAYBE BOTH. The second time I ordered my food with an add on that wasn't put on, so I told the waitress and waited. THIRTY minutes later, the waitress came back and asked if I wanted to box up my food, I told her NO I HAVEN'T EATEN IM WAITING FOR MY TOPPINGS!! She blamed the kitchen and complained, very inappropriately, about the kitchen staff. Then she brought me a side of avocados.... my food by then was soggy and super cold so I told her never mind. Didn't even offer to remake it. She again complained about how it wasn't her fault. The last time I went, I ordered eggs Benedict, and my eggs were gross. They were not poached, they were straight up HARDBOILED. (And the waitress was just completely clueless. She was nice, but she tried to bring me two eggs... sorry NO, my food is now AGAIN SOGGY, you expect me to eat this soggy AND COLD?) zero stars. Will never give them another cent of my money. read more

Sunday morning, 10am...First off, we get seated to a dirty table, which seems to be the case as multiple tables asked to have their tables cleaned prior to sitting. Took a bit for the server to come over, he brought our drinks out and took our order. Took a bit for order to come out, and when it did, the food was just ok. Million dollar bacon was basic, Florentine Benedict was ok, boyfriends take 2 had a sliver of avocado on the sandwich. Asked the expediter for some mayo, and instead of bringing it, told the server, who had to stop by the table and ask if we needed mayo. They had 2 hostesses, which you only need one, the other could be used as a server to cut back on the overload of tables. Would I come back here again...nope read more

Absolutely Love this place! Always great service, and the food is Scrumptious! They're Open early, which is a Plus, but close at night; would love to see what they'd be capable of for dinner! read more

Came here on a Sunday around 9:30am a couple of weeks after it opened and they were slammed, with about a 20min wait. Kind of expected that since there's really nothing similar (brunch spot) on this side of Pearland. The food was great, I was not disappointed. The one juice I tried was refreshing and tasty. Service was a bit slow but I could understand based on how busy they were. Will definitely be back. read more

The first time I tried First Watch was on a Saturday morning and I loved it. I ordered the eggs Benedict and my daughter ordered the Belgian waffle. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. The past two times I've gone have been during the week. I have been disappointed both times. Inattentive servers and inconsistent food. My daughter did not like the Belgian waffle the second time around. I tasted it and you could tell it was old. I had the eggs Benedict again today and the eggs were very overdone. I guess they save their good waitstaff and cooks for the weekend. read more

Today was my first time here. Loved it!!!! The menu was my favorite thing, it has so much variety.. color and good taste for sure. We had the fresh squeezed OJ, the kale drink, the banana:granola pancake with eggs and I had the chicken salad sandwich, potatoes and tomatoe basil soup with a side salad. The dressing was delicious, pancakes were so fresh and yummy. The ketchup is homemade!!! I loved it. Will come back very soon!!! read more

Being new to Texas we are always looking for a great place for food. We use Yelp a lot to assist us in our outings to try new places. Meeting friends for breakfast and it was my turn to pick a place, First Watch did not disappoint! The food was delicious. Their app is handy to "get in line" before you arrive. And their wait staff was friendly and efficient. Would recommend this location over and over again! read more

come to first watch all the time and justin is our regular server he is absolutely AMAZING he is the definition of a baddie. period

I have gone to First Watch for breakfast and lunch. I have enjoyed every meal I have eaten there. The service is good, and the people who work there are always helpful and nice. I highly recommend First Watch. read more

Great place! The food was tasty and really fresh! I had the salmon frittata and it came with gluten free toast at no additional cost, I really appreciate that!! The restaurant is one big open room so a little cold... bring a jacket. My BF had the farmhouse skillet and zero complaints! I could eat here every day. read more

Everything takes a long time - the wait, clearing tables, getting drinks, placing an order, getting food. The only thing that was fast was getting our check. About 5 minutes after they brought the food out the check was on the table. They clearly want you out fast. The food was good. My husband had the original breakfast and he enjoyed it, my son had the blt and he ate mOst if it, I had the egg sandwich. It was good but nothing I'd write home about. We probably won't be back. Everything takes forever and unless the food is amazing I just get grumpy. read more

Great little breakfast spot. Blueberry pancakes smack! Coffee is delicious, and elevated egg sandwich is a personal fav. Asia was very sweet and friendly and accommodating. read more

The service was horrendous. I was surrounded by dirty tables and the floors were sticky. The food was not very good.. undercooked potatoes, overcooked bacon and the food was just okay. I had high hopes but was very disappointed for my first time and last time there. read more

Amazing food and amazing atmosphere! A little pricey but what you get and the amount you get is worth the price.

First Watch is relatively new to Pearland and I was pleasantly surprised by it. I usually go for breakfast/brunch. This place has a lot of more unconventional options on the menu so the meal can go either way. Ive only been here twice. The first time I went I had a frittata and wasn't a huge fan of the taste but the second time I ordered something else and it was great. The service is always very helpful and accommodating. Definitely a place to check out if you are looking for something a little different. read more

Takes forever, food quality has gone down since opening, too expensive despite cool hip interior.

Took 45 minutes to bring me a bad bowl of yogurt. My friend is disappointed they took off her favorite item on the menu which was the Acai bowl. Cinnamon donuts did not look like the picture. read more

Great place! The food was fresh and the coffee was even better. I ordered breakfast so i choose the avocado toast and fell in love with it. I definitely want to try some of their brunch entrees as well. read more

Best breakfast in town- the market is delicious-fresh veggies and eggs...I recommend the market if you are going less calories ...

Ate breakfast here this morning. Food was good as always, we eat here a lot. My only disappointment was the place was not as clean as it has been before. Spoon had some gunk on it, absolutely no excuse for that. Had to wipe our bench down before sitting to wipe off crumbs. Noticed a mom did the same next to us. Message to the manager : tighten up on cleanliness or you will lose customers. If the dining area is not clean , makes me wonder about the kitchen . Food is great, but if my experience is the same next time won't be back read more

The food is great. Your food always takes long and it seems every time I go there is a problem. One of us out of 3 get our food the others don't or the appetizer comes out at the end. They're always scattered and unorganized. read more

Terrible customer service. I've given this place multiple opportunities and each time I've been disappointed. The food is just ok; lacks seasoning though, so it's hard to give the service a pass. read more
