Went for lunch this past Saturday. After ordering, it took 55 minutes for the food to arrive...and it was cold. When I complained to the cashier, her only remark was "that's too bad." I won't be coming back. The food is mediocre and certainly not good enough to justify this kind of service. There are many better places to eat in the Pearland area. read more

We have been here twice so far. Our waitress at the first visit was super slow to acknowledge our presence and continued to be slow and not particularly attentive throughout the meal. Our server today was much quicker to greet us, take our drink order and was back quickly to take our food order. The food was delicious both times, but the kitchen is very slow to get the orders out. The menu offers a nice variety and the quality of the food is very good. The pumpkin pie oatmeal is delicious and the millionaire bacon is a sweet, salty, gooey delight. The main problem at this point in the speed of the kitchen. Don't go if you're in a hurry! read more

Just left this place for Mother's Day brunch, OMG it was terrible! We got there at 11:15 and left at 2ish. There was not enough cooks for the amount of customers. There were 8 adults and 2 toddlers in my party and they brought our food out in shifts. It was terrible, first they brought four things, then after that it was very sparingly. None of our party ate together, the whole purpose of dining out on Mother's Day. One thing had to be sent back cause they forgot the meat in the dish. WTH? They totally forgot to even bring that dish back correct but sure didn't forget to bring the check for it. I watched as several parties left cause it was so disorganized. You'd have to pay me to go back and change my review. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. I don't blame anyone but management for this. I've been in management for many years and I know if they didn't staff for this, they are totally at fault. No apologies were ever displayed. Awful, horrible service. The pancakes were over cooked and breakfast overrated. read more

Service is expedient & even though my eggs were a little overcooked staff offered to re-do without hesitation which I appreciated. They truly wanted to make it right for me. I am particular about my coffee condiments and the staff did their best to ensure I had what I wanted even when I requested items duplicate times. We go often and enjoy the perky service and are always satisfied. read more

Great food, great service. Couldn't be more pleased! Absolutely love the omelettes! You won't be disappointed.

We have visited this location twice , and both times we were thoroughly pleased with the service and the food. The "special " bacon should be X Rated... it is addictive ! The lemon ricotta pancakes are exceptional! read more

Good food but it is so cold in there you have to eat fast before it freezes on your plate. I threw a cup of coffee in the air and it turned to brown snow before it hit the ground. The food is good and easy to chew because your teeth are already chattering and shivering. I saw one older lady start a Fire at her table so she could warm up enough to make the rest of the way out the door. Waitress said corporate controlled the temp a true at their location deep within a lava filled volcano. read more

Gets one star for the coffee...Had breakfast Sunday morning. Eggs cold and brought me greens instead of potatoes which I requested. When they corrected the mistake. The potatoes were too salted to consume. Left a dollar time tip since they didn't comp anything. Also to expensive. Eat here at your own risk! read more

I love their food and the wait isn't very long, but the time it takes to get your food after being seated seems like an eternity. The wait staff is very friendly, it just seems to take forever to get the food. Once you get it though, it's delicious! read more

The waiters and waitresses here are extremely friendly and the service is great. Shannon was exceptionally kind and very outgoing. Will be coming back here. read more

UPDATE: Decided to try the place out again. This time was much better. Not nearly as busy (b/c we went earlier) but much more organized. The silverware was clean, servers were nice and friendly and food was good. The only thing we were missing were water glasses at our table (which we just took from the empty table beside us, so not a big deal). We will be back. This place has the potential to be a really great breakfast/brunch place but just has some early kinks to work out. 1) First we were sat out of order on the wait list because the hostess mistakenly sat some people at the bottom of the list before us (at the top of the list after having waited 20 minutes) 2) When we got to our table one of the water glasses was not cleaned and covered in a shiny grease 3) One of the forks still had green onion stuck to it after having been washed and none of the silverware or glasses seamed to have been wiped down after being run through the dishwasher. 4) The egg sandwich was really good! I thoroughly enjoyed it, but my husbands scrambled eggs left much to be desired. The portion definitely seemed more like 1 egg instead of 2 and they were very crumbly as if a huge batch was made for the whole restaurant instead of made to order. Overall, we would definitely come back to try it again, but I think we will be waiting a few months so that the "new restaurant" kinks can be worked out. read more

Food and service was stellar. We had millionare bacon, iced coffee, and farmhouse hash! All were delicious and our server Erin was very attentive and knowledable! We will definitely be back! read more

First let me start out with the food is good. At least what I had was good. But I had to eat it at home and it was cold due to the fact that we waited for over 45 minutes for a table and then once we were seated waited another 30 minutes or more to try to get the food. By this point my mother, who is elderly and ill, had to go home. She had to be NPO from the night before for medical testing this morning so she was starving. We had to get the food to go and it was cold by the time we got there to eat it. It's very loud in there and you can't even have a conversation with the person across the table from you. Our waiter, Brandon, was very, very nice and it was totally not his fault but there is a break down in seating people, having the correct tables for specific party sizes and apparently a kitchen staff that can handle the morning rush. Again, the food was good, even with it being cold, but I don't like breakfast enough to sit for almost 2 hours and still not get your order. Best to possibly go any time after 12:00 pm as there is not such a long wait! read more

Efficient, well run, friendly staff and my husbands breakfasts looked great, but I had their Avocado Toast twice ( to see if I was wrong ) and the avocados were under ripe, hard and tasteless both times. But I will certainly go back and try something else. read more

The Pearland parkway location is AMAZING, the staff is awesome from the hostess, server to the managment!! The food is fresh and they have a ton of clean eating options as well as comfort foods!! They are organized and efficient and go the extra mile to make sure your belly is happy and you leave with a smile!! read more

Gotta be their bright & early or prepare to wait inline. Food is great & fresh. Really nice place to have bfast/brunch. Staffs could be a little more organize. read more

Renovation complete, new name for this former Egg and I Restaurant and the restaurant looks great too. Farmhouse theme. Lots of seating and great updated healthier menu options. Like to get the tri-athlete. Egg white omelette, fresh fruit and thick whole grain toast. Good coffee. Like having a carafe of coffee and jug of water. Don't have to bother the server with refill requests. Have had pancakes in past and they are too dry for my taste. Belgian waffle is good. Weekends have a bit of a wait to be seated (15-20 minutes), but that is expected. Service has improved. Keep it up!! read more

Very clean, staff is amazing, and food is even better(: Faleayn was my server and she was perfect! Attentive and always smiling! I'd recommend this café to anyone! read more

I can't rate this place with enough stars. We ordered the Market Hash Skillet and the Trifecta something. The food was incredible. All very fresh and yummy. Seemed unprocessed as a whole. The multigrain pancake on the trifecta was very large and just like I make at home. The strawberry preserves on the hash skillet (for the very homemade feeling toast - with seeds and yumminess baked right in) seemed to be homemade or a really good lookalike. I couldn't finish all mine, so my bf did. He didn't feel like his trifecta was enough, but it was cheaper, and he said it was very tasty, with high quality bacon. I can't say enough about the quality of the food. The only negative was his overeasy eggs were too runny, but I always order mine over medium, so they were great. I feel like I could eat here and still feel like it is relatively healthy, compared to other over processed restaurants, like IHOP or such. It was also very clean and comfy. Our waiter was great too. The food was a little slow, but I think that was because it's all made fresh. One of my favorite things was heir website let's you see exactly the nutritional information, even if you take things off your meal. I was able to find all the dishes in MyFitnessPal, which is very important to me. Very excited about returning here to try other dishes. read more

Always good experience at this First watch (it can get pretty busy on Sunday mornings). Food and service are always good -- waiting to get a table can be a little annoying if you are not there at just the right time. read more

Visited this restaurant about a week ago. The environment was amazing. We were excited to try a new breakfast place in Pearland. Unfortunately, for what you pay you don't get much food. I ordered the breakfast tacos and it's was 90% tortilla, about a spoon full of eggs and like no bacon that I had ordered. The server stood in the back and talked most of the time and I had to wave him down twice. I did mention the portion size to serve and he just laughed and said sorry. Didn't even try to correct. We probably won't go back for breakfast but maybe a coffee date or something. Breakfast is so cheap and it's not favorable serving such a poor portion size for the price it's been sold. read more

LOVE this place!!! We have found our new breakfast spot from now on! The fresh juice selection that they have is incredible! Very healthy options as well food wise. Very delicious! read more

By far the best breakfast/brunch place I've ever been to. The staff here is wonderful and the food is healthy and delicious. I recommend this place to family and friends every time they come in to town. read more

Waited 45 minutes, there were no less than 8 dirty tables with no one to bus them. Waitstaff was aloof to them. Hostess was completely lost, floor manager finally came out of hiding... now there are 10 dirty tables and lots of people waiting. I asked her if there was some sort of app to make a reservation because people were being seated all out of order. She said yes, and gave me a snooty, fake apology. The food looked good, too bad too because if they keep running it the way it is now, they will go out of business before I calm down enough to try again. Now to Pena's for fast friendly service and amazing food! read more

Wow! Probably the best breakfast I have ever had! The steel cut oatmeal was of the charts delicious. I also had to try the Tri-athlete egg white omelette and It was equally as good. Fresh squeezed orange juice was awesome which is hard to find these days. My kids had the chocolate chip pancakes and they are already asking when they can go back. We really love this place nothing else even comes close to this place! read more

There is hardly any people here and after waiting for an hour for our food they come tell us they're out of French toast. They couldn't tell us when we first ordered? The table behind us has been here longer than us and still hasn't received their food. Sorry, first and last time here. read more

Waited over 5 minutes to be seated, the entire staff looked confused and they were running everywhere. My mimosa was $8 not mixed and when we asked for waters, a bigger table that arrived after us received their pitcher of water first. Mean while we're waiting for water and instead I got a to-go cup w/ water after 20 minutes. Food was NOT worth the wait! Banana pancake tasted better than my 1 egg and 1 sausage link. Potato hash wasn't good either, it tasted better AFTER I added salt pepper and cholula sauce read more

Slowest service ever! First and last time visiting! We seated and waited for an hour, we asked about our food, waiter came and told us our food was going to take another 15-20 minutes and the place was not even packed! It wasn't even rush/busy hour. We just stood and left, never going back! I do not recommend this place, extremely slow service! Shouldn't take that long to crack open a couple of eggs! We are Unsatisfied with First Watch. now we are hungry and still looking for another place to Brunch at 3pm, thanks First watch! -.- read more

We've been here three times because we like the concept. They carry a lot of great sounding items, but the food is bland (not spiced). The juice cocktails are delicious, and I very much applaud their attempt at providing gluten-free items. However, if you are a celiac, you shouldn't eat here. Three separate times, we had issues with cross-contamination despite staff stating that gluten-free items are prepared on a separate work space. The cross-contamination was so bad each time that it induced vomiting. Wanted to like this place, but it doesn't look like we can go back...except for the juice! read more

Nothing really special about the lemon ricotta pancakes. Very misleading because pancakes came dry and unflavored with lemon curd on the side. Also, you can't tell it's made with ricotta cheese because it's so dry. Wanted this to be a great dish but it's mediocre at best. Also, the amount of lemon curd isn't enough for both pancakes so after three bites, you're stuck eating the pancakes by itself. read more

I was very excited to try this place and we get here, told the wait was 30 mins or less, waited 45 mins for a table, and I could see 5 (count them 5) tables empty and no one was cleaning them off! Ordered right away as we were starving, took well over 45 mins to get our food. My elevated egg sandwich had no avocado on it. Highly highly disappointed and I will never come back. There is ZERO efficiency and needs to get it together! read more

This restaurant is very, very cute! The staff is really friendly and the menu is ambitious... Maybe a little too ambitious. We waited a ridiculously long time for our food. One family even got up and left because they had been waiting so long. The food itself was under seasoned and cold. Out of four dishes, mine was the only one that was warm and had a little bit of seasoning. Overall, not very impressive. I think this restaurant has a lot of kinks to work out, but when they get there, it will be amazing! read more

Very modern restaurant with delicious and healthy food. The French toast and warm syrup was our kids favorite. The skillet hash was not greasy and was very healthy! We really enjoyed our time there yesterday. We will return soon to try more of their menu. read more

The good is excellent and the customer service is good. However, each time I've eaten here, the wait time time for my food has been at least 45 minutes. read more

I heard about this place from a friend a month ago, since then I've been there twice & BOTH TIME I FIND A BLACK SMALL HAIR IN MY FOOD!

We were so excited to try this place but we were disappointed. The two tables next two us sent their food back because it was cold. They both ordered the eggs Benedict. Our food came to our table and looked really yummy but again our eggs and potatoes were cold. So the overall experience was not great. There are so many servers bringing food out so why is the food cold? We are breakfast people and were really hoping for a new spot to enjoy our favorite meal of the day but it did not deliver. read more

This restaurant has improved a lot already in quality and service since opening. Using the app to get in line before arriving will dramatically reduce your wait time to be seated. Staff has been good about reducing time from being seated to getting your food. I'm docking a star because it seems that wait staff still doesn't understand that the 100% pure maple syrup is a separate line item on the menu. I asked two waitstaff members for the 100% pure maple syrup (for which there is an up-charge listed on the menu) and all of them indicated that's what I have for free on the table. Why have this as a separate menu item then? Also, when you ask for a booth they will commonly take you to a half-booth which is frustrating. Nevertheless, the food was great and the timing was on point. read more

The service was not good and there were strange things in my food. When I told the server she just tried to identify them--ummm, that's a corn chip (in my fruit!)--rather than fix the problem. With so many restaurant options available in Pearland, not sure I'll go back. read more

Very disappointing! As a long time resident of the nearby neighborhood, I wanted to support our local businesses & try this establishment. After leaving my daughter on the first day of school, I arrived about 8:15 am on Monday, August 21st. I was seated promptly & after a brief wait, my waiter took my order. I ordered the Tri-Athlete with coffee & water. I waited approximately 35 minutes & I wondered why I haven't received my order. My waiter saw that I was trying to get his attention & he assured me that my order will be out shortly. I told him that if I didn't get my order within the next 5 minutes, then I'll have to cancel to leave for work. About 5 minutes later, another waitress came to give me my order. Immediately, I knew that my food had been sitting a while. The egg whites were dehydrated from sitting too long. I took one bite of my omelette & it was cold as well as bland. At that time, my waiter came to deliver my order hot & fresh. He looked at me puzzled that I already had a plate of what I ordered in front of me. I proceeded to request for my bill & I told the waiter that I'll pay for the coffee, but not the Tri-Athlete. He went to the kitchen & came back to tell me no charge for the coffee! OH WELL, THANK YOU!!! I could have just stayed home & had coffee. Just a waste of my time. Basically, I waited over 40 minutes for coffee which at best was OK. Very disappointed! read more
