I love coming to Hash Kitchen on the weekends! The music is always good, the atmosphere is fun, and the customer service is consistently great. One thing to keep in mind is that reservations can sometimes be hard to get, especially on Sundays, so I definitely recommend booking ahead. The drinks are always good, and the food never disappoints. This time, I ordered the Side Chick, which comes with a biscuit, potatoes, and eggs. It's one of those meals that I can order over and over because it's always delicious and filling. If you're looking for something sweet, their French toast is also really good, with a variety of different toppings. Last time, I tried the Banana Split French Toast, and it was really good! It quite literally took 10 minutes to be seated. The staff were pretty nice, they smile when they speak, courteous as well. The music playing was loud, but nothing i couldn't hear my girlfriend over. We still maintained a good conversation and tone level without yelling over. We were greeted by our waiter pretty quickly after being seated, she took our drink order. We both ordered mimosa flights which came with pineapple, watermelon, peach, and raspberry. We liked the mimosas a lot. The waiter came back after about 10minutes to take our order, she made a couple of table stops before getting back to us. We ordered the Billionaires Bacon; a thick-cut applewood smoked bacon with yuzu, honey, brown sugar chili rub, and 24k gold. This was very good but it tasted like thick cut bacon with syrup on it. I also ordered the Banana Split French Toast; a caramelized banana, berried, mascarpone in a waffle cone, i think a caramel sauce with powdered sugar and syrup on the side.. very good, will be my go to every time i go back. I also ordered the breakfast burrito with a side of avocado. That had chorizo, bacon, cheese, hash browns, onions, peppers, beans, eggs, and salsa on the side. The burrito was pretty big and filling. They have definitely turned it around from the first time I visited. Now this is my go to place after a good workout on the weekends for the very tasty power bowl and cappuccino and great service. Servers are friendly as well. Don't expect a quiet brunch if that is what you're looking for. They typically have a dj spinning for brunch. read more

I came here for a quick weekday brunch. The food was just okay - I wouldn't return specifically for it. Here's what we tried: Main chick hash - a thin layer of cornbread in a skillet with small potatoes and topped with two eggs and 5 chicken wings. The chicken was crispy and juicy but had no hot honey flavor. The cornbread was also a bit dry. This dish would have been better with some maple syrup or hot honey. We had the build you own bloody marry and really went to town with all the skewers. The meatballs were my favorite. I'm really picky about bloody Mary's so I wasn't expecting to love the drink but holy crap it was so good! I'd come back for the bloody Mary's alone. I also had the s'mores latte. I really liked that it was not overly sweet. And best of all, the carnitas hash. Honestly, I was already full from the coffee and Bloody Mary before we even got the dish but I couldn't help myself. Honestly, there were so many cocktails that sounded so good, it was difficult to choose just one. Unfortunately, there were some elements of the food that fell a little short. My boyfriend and I shared the fried chicken Benedict and the birria hash. The egg on the Benedict was way overcooked, it was basically a hard boiled egg. I prefer my egg runny to begin with, but this egg overall made the dish dry. The fried chicken was well seasoned and the biscuit was really good. I eventually just took the egg off and made a chicken biscuit sandwich. I liked the Birria hash better. The consome was really good. I was dipping my hashbrown from the benedict in it. It wasn't spicy so keep that in mind if you prefer spicy dishes. I would've preferred the meat be cooked into the quesadilla, but all of the elements by themselves in the dish were great. For a waiter to serve you or pour drinks, they are often in the way of another table (not their fault). They have a live DJ blaring music, which was an interesting vibe for Sunday brunch. We did the online waitlist while we were getting dressed for brunch. At the time it said 45-55 min wait. Parking is plentiful in the big lot. We arrived and checked in with the hostess at the 45 min mark and the hostess said that it would be another 15-20 min. I asked what was the purpose of online waitlist if we have to wait longer when we arrive and she said that it just moves you to the top of the waitlist. Fifteen minutes later she sat us at a table. The ambiance in the restaurant is borderline Sunday Funday. There is a DJ and the music is moderately loud. At least you can still hear the person sitting next to or across from you, but doubtable if they're down the table on the other side. There's a lot of interesting flavors of mimosas that they offer such as blackberry, kiwi, peach and passion fruit. I asked the waitress if it was possible to choose my own flavors for the flight and she said no because they are premade. That's a bummer because it was regular flavors that I've had before and I wanted to try the new flavors (orange, strawberry, raspberry and blackberry). I opted for a single glass of the kiwi mimosa and I loved it. They have a lot of yummy brunch options. I went with the Chicken Tinga Scrambler. I enjoyed the eggs and chicken. I am not a fan that this restaurant serves hash brown patties that I could get at the frozen section of H‑E‑B. I would rather breakfast potatoes. Located in a brand new shopping center off of 288 and Broadway, we live close enough to here that this will join the regular rotation when we're looking for Sunday Funday. Drink wise the mimosa flight is a no brainer, today's flavors were orange, blueberry, watermelon, and pineapple. Food wise we had their billionaire bacon, hot chicken sandwich, and chilaquiles. Portions are big, food came out hot, and everything tasted great. My only small complaint was that the billionaire bacon was $8 per "slab." If it was really thick cut, sure, but this was honestly 1 slice of bacon for $8. While it tasted good, not worth the price for the portion. Otherwise, we'll be back again for sure! This place has great food. Very much " everything is big in Texas," the portion size for each item is humongous. You must share. Although I enjoyed the food, due to a lack of employees, you are going to be neglected. You are going to be forgotten and something is going to go wrong with your food, so even though the food has potential to be great if it never comes out because you're one server is working the entire spaced out restaurant alone, with multiple tables, some parties small, some parties large, there's going to be a problem. I also did not like the fact that my server was complaining that he was alone and was pre-apologizing for his horrible service before we even got started. So that's when I already knew it was gonna be an issue, but I went to try the beignets which were ok. I didn't realize they were fried Oreos. Very overwhelming. They come with 3, I could not finish one. The French toast was good, but of course they were out of compotes so I had to get plain French toast. The French toast was massive. That is also shareable. I enjoyed the hash brown, and the overall restaurant was very open and bright. If you do go, I would say try to choose a day or time right when they open before anyone comes in and make sure you already know what you're going to order so everything can get all the food put in at the same time so you're not waiting for food or having to let the server disappear and forget what you asked for like what happened with me. This place is situated in our newest strip center, with plenty of parking, if you're there at the right times. I have to cut my taco up in two small squares which isn't necessarily how I like to eat my tacos. I actually had to drink water in order to swallow that. If the egg was poached appropriately this would have been a perfect entree. Maybe that was a one-off, but benedicts ain't cheap and we want what we wan, when and how we want it. The egg should always be runny when poached, unless ordered otherwise. We really enjoyed this experience. Our waitress was Luna and she did a fantastic job. I can't ever put shade towards the service staff for what's happening in the kitchen. And for that matter, the kitchen did a great job with just a couple of items that could definitely raise the bar a little higher from an already lofty spot. We will definitely go back and try more of their menu. A note in price, she ain't cheap. Two entrees and two drinks with gratuity ran us to about $84. You get a great ambience, and food. My girls and I went here for brunch on a Sunday. It was 6 of us so we joined the waitlist online a hour before arriving. So, glad we did because upon arrival the wait was a hour and half. The hostess was very nice and our waitress was the best. They had a Dj which we really enjoyed. The music wasn't too loud so we were able to hear each other speaking. As far as food, the donuts were really good. The majority of us ordered the Basic AF dish and it was served cold. The ones who ordered a more extensive dish such as the chicken parm hash was served smoking hot. I would definitely recommend them bringing the food out as it is ready. We also ordered the Mega Glitter Bomb Mimosa. It was served in a large flute glass with a pinwheel. Overall, great experience. Such a cute spot with an outdoor patio as well. This place is great!! The food, the service, and atmosphere are all fantastic! If I lived in the area I'd try the whole menu!

Good food, but be ready for a loud ambience with a live DJ on the weekends. Its a great spot for brunch if you're looking for good flavors and a fun vibe, but maybe skip it if you'd prefer a more quiet brunch experience (ie struggling to hear someone across from you). They have plenty of egg dishes and sweet brunch options as well, so there is something for everyone. Plenty of parking on site as well! read more

We went for brunch and it was super packed and the music was pretty loud. For a family maybe during the week would be better but if you want a high energy brunch out with friends or your boo this would be a good idea. The wait list set up was a little janky, and it seemed like the workers did not have a clear answer on how their process worked when we called, so they need to work on that. Once seated decent amount of time to order but took a little while to get the food. The music distracted us for a while and then we snapped back to reality and realized we still did not get our food or libations. Outside of that the food was pretty good. The portion size was nice for the price. Flavor wise I had a single sweet cream pancake and it was good but nothing special not super fluffy but not terribly thin either. I had the chilaquiles with the green sauce. The portion size was really big and could have been shared but I was being greedy. It did need some hot sauce I'm not gonna lie, but they had different options and I opted for Cholula. I would order it again. My husband wanted a certain French toast but they were out of it so he got the one with coconut on it. The slices were really big and could have been shared also. He also had a piece of chicken he ordered separately. My daughter had the Canadian bacon, hash brown, Belgian waffles , and an iced coffee (forgot which flavor). I tasted it and it was pretty good but not as sweet as it appeared to look. My husband and I had the mimosa flight. They weren't labeled so couldn't tell between 2 flavors what they were supposed to be. The menu has a large selection to choose from so I will come back to try something else. read more
