While the food was good and our server, Louis, was friendly, professional, and attentive, the restaurant's cleanliness was disappointing. There was food on the floor, dirty tables, and even the bar area appeared unclean. I noticed the servers were responsible for taking orders, delivering food, bussing tables, and cleaning the dining area. It was clear they were overworked and doing their best, but the lack of support staff negatively affected the overall dining experience. I appreciate Louis's excellent service, but I don't plan to return because the restaurant appears understaffed, which impacts both cleanliness and customer service. read more

Great first experience at Hash Kitchen! My girlfriend and I tried Hash Kitchen for brunch on a Sunday around 1 PM. It was moderately busy when we arrived, and we were quoted a 10-15 minute wait. They were pretty spot-on because we were seated in about 10 minutes. The atmosphere is really nice--fun, lively, and definitely gives brunch vibes. The music was pretty loud, but not so loud that we had to yell across the table. We were still able to have a normal conversation comfortably. The staff was friendly and courteous from the beginning. Everyone we interacted with smiled and was welcoming, and our server greeted us shortly after we were seated and got our drink order started. We both ordered the mimosa flights with pineapple, watermelon, peach, and raspberry, and we really enjoyed them! For food, we started with the Billionaire's Bacon, which is thick-cut applewood smoked bacon with yuzu, honey, brown sugar chili rub, and 24k gold. It was very good, although flavor-wise, it honestly reminded me of really good thick-cut bacon with syrup on it. Still tasty and definitely worth trying. I ordered the Banana Split French Toast, and THIS was easily the star of my meal. It came with caramelized banana, berries, mascarpone served in a waffle cone, powdered sugar, sauce, and syrup on the side. It was absolutely delicious. This will probably be my go-to order every time we come back. I also tried the Breakfast Burrito with a side of avocado. It was stuffed with chorizo, bacon, cheese, hash browns, onions, peppers, beans, and eggs with salsa on the side. The burrito is HUGE and very filling--I only made it through half. It was good, although I'd say it tasted like a pretty standard breakfast burrito. Nothing wrong with it, but the French toast definitely stole the show for me. My girlfriend ordered the Basic AF, which came with two eggs, smashed potatoes, mini pancakes, and maple chicken sausage. She really enjoyed everything, but the maple chicken sausage and mini pancakes were the stars of her plate. Service throughout our meal was good. They have definitely turned it around from the first time I visited. Now this is my go to place after a good workout on the weekends for the very tasty power bowl and cappuccino and great service. It was balanced, sweet, and a good sized drink. If you like fruity drinks, definitely order this one. My boyfriend had the peanut butter mudslide and he really enjoyed it too. Honestly, there were so many cocktails that sounded so good, it was difficult to choose just one. Unfortunately, there were some elements of the food that fell a little short. My boyfriend and I shared the fried chicken Benedict and the birria hash. The egg on the Benedict was way overcooked, it was basically a hard boiled egg. I prefer my egg runny to begin with, but this egg overall made the dish dry. The fried chicken was well seasoned and the biscuit was really good. I eventually just took the egg off and made a chicken biscuit sandwich. I liked the Birria hash better. The consome was really good. I was dipping my hashbrown from the benedict in it. It wasn't spicy so keep that in mind if you prefer spicy dishes. I would've preferred the meat be cooked into the quesadilla, but all of the elements by themselves in the dish were great. I didn't have the eggs, although they looked overcooked as well. I will still put this on my list of brunch places to revisit. When asking the hostess how much longer she expected, I was met with inconvenience and attitude. The place is jammed packed. Tables are close together. For a waiter to serve you or pour drinks, they are often in the way of another table (not their fault). They have a live DJ blaring music, which was an interesting vibe for Sunday brunch. I asked what was the purpose of online waitlist if we have to wait longer when we arrive and she said that it just moves you to the top of the waitlist. Fifteen minutes later she sat us at a table. The ambiance in the restaurant is borderline Sunday Funday. There is a DJ and the music is moderately loud. At least you can still hear the person sitting next to or across from you, but doubtable if they're down the table on the other side. There's a lot of interesting flavors of mimosas that they offer such as blackberry, kiwi, peach and passion fruit. I asked the waitress if it was possible to choose my own flavors for the flight and she said no because they are premade. That's a bummer because it was regular flavors that I've had before and I wanted to try the new flavors (orange, strawberry, raspberry and blackberry). I opted for a single glass of the kiwi mimosa and I loved it. They have a lot of yummy brunch options. I went with the Chicken Tinga Scrambler. I enjoyed the eggs and chicken. I am not a fan that this restaurant serves hash brown patties that I could get at the frozen section of H‑E‑B. I would rather breakfast potatoes. This place has great food. Very much " everything is big in Texas," the portion size for each item is humongous. You must share. Although I enjoyed the food, due to a lack of employees, you are going to be neglected. You are going to be forgotten and something is going to go wrong with your food, so even though the food has potential to be great if it never comes out because you're one server is working the entire spaced out restaurant alone, with multiple tables, some parties small, some parties large, there's going to be a problem. I also did not like the fact that my server was complaining that he was alone and was pre-apologizing for his horrible service before we even got started. So that's when I already knew it was gonna be an issue, but I went to try the beignets which were ok. I didn't realize they were fried Oreos. Very overwhelming. They come with 3, I could not finish one. The French toast was good, but of course they were out of compotes so I had to get plain French toast. The French toast was massive. That is also shareable. I enjoyed the hash brown, and the overall restaurant was very open and bright. If you do go, I would say try to choose a day or time right when they open before anyone comes in and make sure you already know what you're going to order so everything can get all the food put in at the same time so you're not waiting for food or having to let the server disappear and forget what you asked for like what happened with me. I would like to see the tacos. Have some crisp to them and some carbon on the sides. They did not. They looked like rubbery to. The taste was there but the texture was missing. And if I'm supposed to be stacking things on top of my taco to eat like the meat, eggs and potatoes, I can't do that holding the taco. I have to cut my taco up in two small squares which isn't necessarily how I like to eat my tacos. Maybe I'm being a little too too nitpicky but that would be one thing that could make that really really really good plate better. crispy tacos. You will love this plate regardless. Has# Fried Chicken Benedict The gal went with this one. Again, a huge plate which I absolutely love getting my money's worth. The biscuit delicious flaky and fluffy. The chicken, crispy flavorful tender. Where we lost on this one was there was not a plethora of Hollandaise sauce, and the egg came out hard boiled. I actually had to drink water in order to swallow that. If the egg was poached appropriately this would have been a perfect entree. Maybe that was a one-off, but benedicts ain't cheap and we want what we wan, when and how we want it. The egg should always be runny when poached, unless ordered otherwise. We really enjoyed this experience. Our waitress was Luna and she did a fantastic job. I can't ever put shade towards the service staff for what's happening in the kitchen. And for that matter, the kitchen did a great job with just a couple of items that could definitely raise the bar a little higher from an already lofty spot. We will definitely go back and try more of their menu. A note in price, she ain't cheap. Two entrees and two drinks with gratuity ran us to about $84. You get a great ambience, and food. You decide where you find your value, but it was worth it to us, mishaps included. read more

My girls and I went here for brunch on a Sunday. It was 6 of us so we joined the waitlist online a hour before arriving. So, glad we did because upon arrival the wait was a hour and half. The hostess was very nice and our waitress was the best. They had a Dj which we really enjoyed. The music wasn't too loud so we were able to hear each other speaking. As far as food, the donuts were really good. The majority of us ordered the Basic AF dish and it was served cold. The ones who ordered a more extensive dish such as the chicken parm hash was served smoking hot. I would definitely recommend them bringing the food out as it is ready. We also ordered the Mega Glitter Bomb Mimosa. It was served in a large flute glass with a pinwheel. Overall, great experience. Such a cute spot with an outdoor patio as well. Good food, but be ready for a loud ambience with a live DJ on the weekends. Its a great spot for brunch if you're looking for good flavors and a fun vibe, but maybe skip it if you'd prefer a more quiet brunch experience (ie struggling to hear someone across from you). They have plenty of egg dishes and sweet brunch options as well, so there is something for everyone. Plenty of parking on site as well! read more

We went for brunch and it was super packed and the music was pretty loud. For a family maybe during the week would be better but if you want a high energy brunch out with friends or your boo this would be a good idea. The wait list set up was a little janky, and it seemed like the workers did not have a clear answer on how their process worked when we called, so they need to work on that. Once seated decent amount of time to order but took a little while to get the food. The music distracted us for a while and then we snapped back to reality and realized we still did not get our food or libations. Outside of that the food was pretty good. The portion size was nice for the price. Flavor wise I had a single sweet cream pancake and it was good but nothing special not super fluffy but not terribly thin either. I had the chilaquiles with the green sauce. The portion size was really big and could have been shared but I was being greedy. It did need some hot sauce I'm not gonna lie, but they had different options and I opted for Cholula. I would order it again. My husband wanted a certain French toast but they were out of it so he got the one with coconut on it. The slices were really big and could have been shared also. He also had a piece of chicken he ordered separately. My daughter had the Canadian bacon, hash brown, Belgian waffles , and an iced coffee (forgot which flavor). I tasted it and it was pretty good but not as sweet as it appeared to look. My husband and I had the mimosa flight. They weren't labeled so couldn't tell between 2 flavors what they were supposed to be. The menu has a large selection to choose from so I will come back to try something else. read more
