Ordered take out from this place. Serves very good food but sadly it stops serving or taking order after 2-3pm (depending on location). Otherwise my order (the classic breakfast) was delicious and ready for pick up on time. read more

The food is delicious and the service was great!!! I had the shrimp and grits with a side of French toast. read more

the BEST server out there is my guy Justin. I come here all the time but i have NEVER had this guy. SNOOZE NEEDS TO BE SLEPT ON

Food was really good and our server Alyssa was fantastic. She was attentive, but also gave us time to chat and enjoy our brunch.

Had my usual French toast and million dollar bacon. First Watch and our server Justin did not disappoint! The French toast was fluffy and tasty, and the bacon had the right combo of sweet and spicy. read more

So after writing my last review i felt like it was unfair. I came back, and didn't wait long at all. Last time mustve been a mix up, which is understandable. This time i got the chicken-changa. Its so good! Also i really appreciate that the food here us locally grown. This will be my new lunch spot! read more

I tried the chicken chimichurri hash, from their seasonal menu, and it was SO GOOD!!! It's paired with whole grain artisan toast, an all-natural preserve and fresh watermelon. The toast was amazing (alone and with the preserve, which tasted like strawberries, in my opinion). Yum!! Sadly, I'm only giving this place 3 stars because the service was bad. My husband and I were seated right away but our waitress didn't get to us for a while, not even to ask what we wanted to drink, and the restaurant wasn't even half full. I ordered an iced coffee and my husband got regular hot coffee. There wasn't enough half and half on the table and we had no utensils. The food came out really quickly (still with no utensils, so I asked the waitress for some). She didn't look sorry and then I overheard her ask another employee if there were any utensils available. Seriously?! We were there an hour before they closed and like I previously mentioned, the restaurant wasn't even half full and they ran out of utensils?! That's bad management! Also, the floors were really dirty. They had a lot of employees so I don't understand the messy floor covered in food. Around every table was a mess! After we got utensils, we were maybe 15 mins into eating and our waitress came over with our tab. Of course she said, "No rush. Whenever y'all are ready." I guess we couldn't order anything else if we wanted to! (Irritating!) I hate feeling rushed when I eat. The only reason I'd give this place another try is because I enjoyed the food. read more

Thank you so much Dawn! You were a FABULOUS server! We really enjoyed dining at First Watch and having you as our server. Great food and great service! read more

I always wanted to try this place the menu looked really good. Ugh super beyond disappointed my $10 meal was burnt potatoes and the saddest elevated egg sandwich.....ordered an ice coffee never got it but it was on check she did remove it. But seriously my meal looks nothing like the picture advertised by the manager or other customers post. Oh well you have to try it once right..i had to spread my own avocado it was just a big lump...should be called the saddest sandwich you will waste money on and regret. read more

Came in on a very busy Sunday & our waitress Sydney was fabulous!! She was very attentive and so kind. Definitely 5 stars for Syd!

4 stars because it is freezing in there, feels like I'm sitting under a blowing vent no matter where I sit. Other than that, the food is good. The banana granola crunch pancake is the best I've ever had. The vanilla chai latte pancakes are okay and way overpriced. The kale tonic is amazing. read more

I was very disappointed with the restaurant. Time it took for Breakfast to be served on a Sunday at 11:30 am was 1.5 hours. Waitress never greated us, just took our order with disdain. We thought she was just busy, but the behavior continued. None of the staff seemed happy to be there or for that matter happy for us to patronize their establishment. Bathroom was disgusting and smelled like it hadn't been cleaned. Upon closer inspection the toilets we incredibly dirty. Our meal was average and our "millionaires bacon" was under cooked and served after we were done with our breakfast.. I would say that they need to hire individuals that can treat their customers with respect. Improve the time it takes to serve the meal and ensure the meal comes out in its entirety at once. Over all grade..D. Needs Improvement read more

Every time I door dash from First Watch, something is missing from my order. The food is decent.

My husband and I have been here quite a few times and have always enjoyed the food and service.

First time and I enjoyed it. The food was very tasty and they have large selection of breakfast and brunch items. They also have fresh juices. The service was a little slow and that could be because we came on a Saturday or because the server said they 2 of their servers didn't show up to work and the place was busy. Either way, I'm willing to let it go because I think the food and atmosphere made up for it this time. Hopefully it is something they correct. They also are a new establishment and I can see that may have played a part. Welcome to Pearland First Watch, and I hope you will continue serving us for a long time. read more

We went to first watch yesterday after a volleyball game. We arrived at 12:30 and were seated by 12:50 we ordered by 1 and were served till 2!!! We were starving!!! The food was delicious no complaints on that it just took forever.... not sure if we are going to go back soon. Update*** we came back yesterday and everything was great... the wait time was good. The food was great and we were told our food would take about 25 min. Which was ok, we will be back. It also helped to Check in through yelp. read more

After about half a dozen visits, I feel that First Watch has a great menu selection and excellent food. However, their staff seems undertrained and/or spread too thin as sometimes meals can take 30+ minutes to come out or you have to ask 4 items for a booster seat, etc. For now, I can look past things like this since they are so new and the food is good. All of that said, we plan to continue coming in the future. Edit: After coming here basically every weekend for months, their service really hasn't gotten much better. We have now waited 1 hour for our food with 2 of 3 plates having arrived. Subtracting a star. read more

Love the food it's great! Never had a complaint coming here up til now I went today with my family and was received by I guess a manager asking how many people were in our party I said 5 and he made a remark saying that my little cousin counted as a seat when I had already counted her in not only that but there was a wait so we were going to seat in the benches inside but he said " you can wait outside or in your car" I was pretty upset because I had always been treated well at this spot probably won't be coming back read more

I would actually give it 2.5 stars if possible. The food was good, so I gave 3 instead of 2. The service was not so good. I could see her but she stopped coming to the table or anywhere near that I could get her attention after the food was dropped. So I ended up flagging others down to get help. I flagged the manager down to get our check after being done eating for nearly 10 minutes, then we sat there longer because no one let us know you had to pay at the counter that was behind us and out of sight because we were sat on the other side of a partition. On top of that my silverware and glasses were dirty and had to get new ones, and the 2-top tables become extremely crowded with the unnecessary condiments already there and the added carafe for coffee. I know it's a new restaurant and the manager seemed nice enough, so hopefully they'll work out some of the kinks. read more

It is very difficult for me to write this review. I have been coming to first watch since it opened and was really pleased with the quality and freshness if the food. However there has been a steep decline in service levels. The kitchen has become extremely disorganized. Most plates will not arrive at the same time. Pair that with the wait, makes for veryy angry kids. I still reallly do like the food and the adventures of the seasonal menu. Just very much wish the kitchen could get it together. read more

Not a bad place if you have 1.5 hours to spare. After being seated it took 45 minutes to get our food for a party of 2. The reason? They had a large table they were trying to get taken care of first (according to our waiter). When the food actually came it was good, not great. Service seems to be their major downfall. read more

Waiting is atrocious not to mention the server is horrible at calling out names when a table is ready. You can barely hear them as they have a soft spoken voice. They need a speakerphone to hear your name being called out otherwise they will skip you, even if you're facing them directly, eye to eye. They will not remember faces. Idk if theres any correlation to this but if you know you're a heavy set person alone or with a friend, people coming in after you will be called first, even those who bring family members & small children. My group waited 45 minutes despite being told 15-20 mins or less. We had to get up and talk to the server to get our table. Person looked like they didnt want to be here with a blank look on their face. Almost like not taking their job seriously. We finally sat down and ordered our food. Just an fyi, their "healthier side" of the menu consists of 1000+ calorie bursting meals, so if you're someone looking to limit their intake you have better options ordering from other menu items than their healthy section. We ate then left. You are better off eating at Denny's, IHOP, Waffle House or any other restaurant than here. Never again! Edit: Turns out they did skipped my name because apparently it was hard to pronounce it despite the fact I spelled it out for them, enunciate it and even gave them my number. I received a text message that supposedly was going to text me to let me know when a table is ready. IT DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. They skipped my name and served everyone else after it. I am livid! I hope that server gets replaced by a machine. I had better service at a freaking Denny's & IHOP. Please speak louder, learn to pronounce words or get replaced. The food was subpar. So yeah, screw this place. Never felt so disrespected in my life. read more

Very disappointed in this place. We came in around noon on a Wednesday. It was a little packed but nothing out of the ordinary. We waited approximately 10 minutes for someone to come take our drink orders. What really irked me however is that we waited a total of 40 minutes for two meals. We were just about to ask for the check when they finally brought out ONE of the plates which was missing two pieces of bacon and syrup for the pancakes. I waited for my meal while my sister ate hers. After another 5 minutes or so, I received mine, completely devoid of the side of millionaire bacon that I ordered. My order was quite simple; the avocado toast with an egg on top and a side of bacon. It shouldn't have taken almost 50 minutes to receive...on a Wednesday. After we received our food, there was so much lemon squirted on my avocado toast that I couldn't taste the egg. I usually love the whole grain toast they use but it was soggy due to the lemon juice. I will say that the avocado was fresh but it tasted more like guacamole. The millionaire bacon, once we received it, was crispy and hot, like I like it. Overall, I don't think I'd come back. The service and wait times were extremely dismal for underwhelming food. We also couldn't use a high chair due to the space between tables so we were forced to hold an infant the entire meal. *Management reached out in a very courteous manner and is going to give us an opportunity to try the place again for a much better experience. I'm impressed with the customer service! read more

I really liked this place! The staff was attentive, and apologized when our food took a little longer to come out. The coffee is strong and super fresh. The wait is long, especially for the weekend (but I feel its like that everywhere). There is indoor and outdoor waiting areas, along with a few tables to sit outside if you would like. I ordered the egg sandwich which did not disappoint at all! The works omelette was really good too! I will have to come back and try the other stuff on their menu. Definitely worth the wait. :) read more

First time eating here. The environment and atmosphere there was quite relaxing. The vibe really fit with the breakfast/brunch period. I liked the openness. My server was very nice - love people who service with a smile. As for the menu, there was a lot of dishes and kinda confused me initially. I decided to choose the Healthy Turkey - egg-white omelette with spinach, onions, cheese?, tomatoes, and turkey. They offered a side of whole grain toast with delicious strawberry jam. The omelette was good except for the cheese. I didn't know what kind it was, but it was highly chunky, bland, and very rough for the throat. Other than that, the omelette was super. The meal was roughly hefty for the wallet, but it did look hipster so kinda expecting the high prices. But in general, not bad of a place. I may return to try their BLTE. The sandwiches did look good. Love their jam for sure. read more

An avocado and bacon lovers dream destination in Pearland! I've been here 3xs in the month since they've opened and have been impressed with the place each time. They food has always been high quality and and fresh whether I've ordered breakfast or lunch. If you like avocado and bacon you will love this place for the copious amounts of both in the salads and sandwiches. The salads are scrumptious and loaded with ingredients causing for a taste bud smorgasbord in every bite. The Cobb salad is nice and the Chicken Avocado Chop is interestingly good but the Sweet Honey Pecan salad is where it's at. The flavors are not overpowering but they are everpresent in a good way. Amongst the sandwiches the Monterey Club is savory and delicious but the Ham & Gruyere Melt is simplistically delicious. The reason for the delicious food here, IMO, is the quality of the ingredients. It's as if you are eating at Whole Foods or Central Market but at half the price. The breakfasts are a bit pricey at close to $10 but absolutely worth it. The Floridian French Toast is delicious and filling. But the best DEAL in the place is the Pick Two lunch for about $7.50. Outstanding lunch at a great price! They have fancy health drinks and fresh squeezed juices, I just wished they had delicious black leaf tea rather than bland green leaf tea. So why not 5 stars? Because on two occasions now me or my companion have found a hair on our plate. I'm attributing this to them just starting here but hairnets will bring this to a 5 star instantly. Looking forward to many a brunch here. read more

Brianna are waitresses was Awesome!!! Food is always great! Had the traditional Breakfast.

Food was good. The customer service when checking in was subpar. We waited for 20+ minute while a table was waiting to be cleaned and staff stood around. Me and my date went to brunch around 12:30pm on Sunday. The waiter was very rude and impatient. One of the worst attitudes I've experienced from a waiter in a long time. He forgot to bring out multiple food items and never checked on us once. After realizing my date's drink was missing, I politely tried raising my hand several times. This attempt to get his attention went unnoticed for many minutes before I finally had to shout across the room. No "sorry it took so long", no "sorry I forgot to bring that", just "Okay" when I told him my date hadn't yet got her drink. He had this subtly rude tone in his voice that was initially confusing because you couldn't tell if he was being rude or if you were misreading his personality. But as time went on it was apparent that he was rude. And indeed I noticed it more when he brought the check out and all of a sudden had this "lemme be bubbly & sweet now that they are signing the checks". It was funny because he added a drink that I didn't order to my ticket and when I said I didn't order it, that bubbly facade he forced disappeared instantly with a "So what do you want me to do about it?" The food was pretty good though, so hopefully you don't get the waiter that was serving us. I wish I remembered his name. Thankfully, I had a pretty nice date that kept me calm and respectful the whole time because that was a terrible experience. I wish sometimes waiter understood that they are the face of the restaurant. I would love to give a five star for the stellar food but the service was something that I couldn't believe happened. I would maybe go back, but if he's my waiter again I might end up requesting a different table, or worse, get into it with him. read more

Best thing to do to avoid the long wait to sit is to check yourself in the app I've done it the last two times and literally only had to wait less than ten minutes to be seated. Either do it through yelp or the first watch app. They have a good variety of food and I've been satisfied they are a little stingy with the jam, which, their is something about it that i like. The wait time is the only reason this place is not 5 stars is the wait time. The first time we waited almost an hour for eggs Benedict, farmhouse hash, and pancakes. Even though they told us the ticket times were slow I didn't think it was that slow. Good thing my brother and I kept occupied. The second time my boyfriend and I waited about 35 minutes for 2 hashes and a pancake. Sadly, you could hear people around us complaining about the wait time and mentioning how they should of gone elsewhere and been done eating. I hope they work on the ticket times soon or they will lose a lot of customers. read more
