    Ube espresso

is a great spot to chill. It's really spacious and I think it would be a great place for a group of people hanging out. They even have private rooms I'm not sure if you can rent them out but it's there! They also have a spot just for the kiddos that way they aren't running around. It's so quiet and peaceful in there. Large variety of drinks even for the kids. They have a bunch of pastries and empanadas! I tried the shaken ube espresso which was my favorite. The place even has a drive-thru, which is super convenient. Service was also good never had an issue with it. Overall, a nice local coffee spot with plenty of options.

Stopped in for a latte on my girl's day self-care day. Loved the ambiance, lots of space, tables, couches etc. It was about 12:30, and good amount of people set up doing their thing. The only negative thing I can say about the ambiance on this day, was that there seemed do be a pretty decent Mom and kid group going on at the same time...and please I get it I have a kid and understand they can be rambunctious, however, I could see people were attempting to enjoy a nice quiet rainy day atmosphere so not sure I'd take my kid tbh for the peace of others...just my opinion. The young lady at the counter was great, literally asked her for something warm, cute, not too too sweet and yummy! Boy did she deliver. She recommended the honey cinnamon latte 1/2 sweet. . It might as well have been a big giant hug in a cup...it was warm flavor wise, hot, yummy! Just perfect for a chilly rainy day in Pearland! Will definitely be back soon to try some other yummy choices!

Continuing my explore through Friendswood and Pearland, I come across a coffee shop called First Cup. It was very much off my radar because my default was another well established coffee roaster in Pearland. But these guys are roasters too. And the coffee is good. A lot of times I have joked in the past that the better the graphics of the coffee bags and the T-shirts , more "iffy" the coffee may be. But in this case, I'm pleased to advise that their merchandise and their coffee get a thumbs up from me. Recommended. I tried a pour over, and also an Americano. And enjoyed both very much. It is a large venue and very popular. And they have a private room or two for business work, if you need to do something with your laptop. and another private room with toys for kids to play. All in all a very impressive operation and I shall be back. Though I may stick with just an Americano, as, pour over options carry a heavier price tag. They have checked all of the boxes of what a coffee shop in 2025 can be.

Had an appointment in the area and thought I swing by since I needed a fix! Place is busy and loved that there is a drive thru to make it convenient for us in and out people! I was thrown off on their sizing at first, but it was plenty for a small!

I've tried both the lavender matcha and ube shaken espresso, and both were good and light. They weren't sweet at all. Their chocolate chip cookie was tasty too. Great space and ambiance to study or hang out.

Came here a couple days ago for the first time and it was really good. I got their blended mocha with oat milk and it was amazing. Service was a little slow, but it's because the places was packed with people, the barista was super sweet tho. I really liked this place, it's a cute place and a chill vibe. I definitely recommend coming and trying this place.

the vibes in the store were chill, the decorations are so hip and it reminds me of downtown Washington. The service was good, employees personality and personal style match the store perfectly! Also, the drink was amazing. I got an ube matcha latte, iced. If you are more of a sweeter matcha drinker then i don't suggest getting it unless you add a syrup and such, but i like matcha either or so it was great and the ube was sweet anyways so it mixed well!

First of all, they have great coffee but they need to fix their systems when ordering online. I've had 2 order online experiences where they messed up my order or give me something else hoping it would be ok than my original order.

This is a dope coffee spot! The baristas were courteous & friendly. Very welcoming atmosphere. Aside from the ample seating they also have office space & conference spaces available. Side note..don't let the size of the cups fool you! I made the mistake of ordering a large when I really needed a small or medium. The cups look smaller than most cups but they are also wider.

First Cup is a huge place with a large homey anterior. Though cozy, the place was very crowded when I came on a weekday night. It was an even more crowded on weekends but I like that they are open until 11pm on days I need to study later than usual, though it my be difficult to find an open outlet if its as busy as it was when I visited. Their matcha latte is decent;I believe it comes sweetened with vanilla regularly according to the barista. For me however, the matcha was too grainy and not as earthy as I would like. The aftertaste wasn't that pleasant and for what I paid I was pretty disappointed. The barista was kind enough to add more vanilla syrup when I asked for it at no extra charge but unfortunately that didn't change how much I enjoyed my drink and I ended up pretty disappointed. Their caramel vanilla latte was sweet and their blue butterfly shaken espresso was interesting but I don't really think they were drinks tasty enough for me to want to order again. Overall, the vibes of this coffee shop were good, and I may come to study here again if I'm in the area, but their drinks did not impress me that much, 6/10.

I got the berry hibiscus refresher and it was quite refreshing. There's plenty of tables but not a ton of chargers. It's nice and quiet to study or chat with friends.

While I love the coffee shop atmosphere, the latte I had tasted burnt and unpleasant. I ended up throwing it away, which was surprising.

When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. Overall I was impressed with everything they offered here with the exception of the nuts, which I thought were just ok. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

The desserts here are fun, unique, and very different from what you find at most places. My only…read morecomplaint is the lack of labeling for many of the products. For example, with the Turkish delights and ice cream selections, only a few items are labeled. For most of them, you have to guess the flavor or ingredients. When I asked questions, there was a language barrier, and the staff member behind the counter was unable to clearly explain what the items were in English. This can be especially frustrating for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions. In the U.S., I would expect all flavors and ingredients to be clearly labeled so customers can make informed choices. Even if staff members are not fluent in English, having accurate labels for flavors and ingredients would greatly improve the customer experience. The desserts themselves are excellent, but better product labeling would make the experience much more enjoyable and accessible for everyone.

The coffee is a bit different, but it's easy to find something you like. I usually get the Deep State Cold Brew. the shaken espresso is pretty good too. I will buy a bag of beans periodically. I would hope that they are fair trade, which is not clear, but some of their beans are organic, and they brew up tasty at home. The atmosphere is nice. The counter staff are friendly and seem to know what they are doing. Usually good spots available to sit and get a bit of work done, unless it's one of the rare days where the place is totally full. Good scenerey usually. it's a mix of NASA people, university students and other odds and ends from the community. They play crappy music, but not too loud, so easy to tune out. The thing that needs the most improvement are the baked goods. Absolutely terrible. At first I thought they had Costco muffins or something similar, but in truth, Costco muffins would be a BIG improvement. Their baked goods suck. LOL! But that's not going to keep me from coming here. Definitely an all around good coffee shop.
