She is on top of things and I've seen her do every job from computer work to straightening up to helping cook in the back. She seems to be the type of person who is willing to do whatever needs to be done. She also seems to have a great relationship with her staff and that's also very important. Manuel is very friendly and helpful. He's knowledgeable about their menu and always remembers what our friend likes to drink when she forgets what it's called. I love the openness and space. There's a couch and chairs in the back if you feel like lounging, plenty of tables in the front for eating, working, or just sitting at. There are games that people can play although sometimes children get ahold of them and pieces go missing. There is also a little kids play area which is golden when you have a toddler. I love that I can sit and have my food/coffee and also keep an eye on my little guy while he plays. It's a wonderful place to meet with people or to just take your kids when you need to sit down with a cup of coffee while they play. They have a good variety of drinks on top of the seasonal offerings. The food is good, and I kind of love that a lot of it is made in a waffle iron. It makes me want more waffle shaped food. The grilled cheese is made with sourdough bread and cooked in a waffle iron. It has these little crispy bits that are heavenly. One of my favorites is the sausage egg and cheese biscuit with a side of gravy. It's also prepared in a waffle maker and has those little crispy bits on the edges. So so good! However, their ceiling needs a new coat of paint. There are more varieties of drinks and sweets. Sweet Lemon even has crepe cakes now! The crepes are moist and not overly sweet. Their "snow" ice cream is still the best. The staff take great care and pride for each menu item. I like to believe they love working here. The prices are decent, and I can tell the staff use real ingredients for their drinks, snow ice cream and crepe cakes. I have to come back here again.

I choose sliced banana, blueberries and pecans, with two syrup packets. Typically the cold brew coffee is the best and I had a large with coconut milk. Unfortunately I had to add large amounts of sweeteners. I would have liked a warm syrup option, did not check if they had sugar-free syrup available. I came at Saturday noon and was only customer. The price was right. Large Cold Brew Coffee with coconut milk $6, Waffles with 3 toppings $8.
