I am such a big fan of First Watch. It satisfies all of my brunch cravings. My go-to order is the trifecta breakfast. I get a delicious Belgian waffle with scrambled eggs and a sausage link. This combo is always perfect and hits the spot. However, they always have new specials that are delicious and I love to try them. The power bowls are awesome if you are looking for something savory. You have to splurge on the Million Dollar Bacon. If you didn't think bacon could get better, you were wrong. The maple syrup drips off and the pepper is the perfect amount of kick. The juices that they have are worth it too. On my last visit, I tried their seasonal drink, The Summer Blush. It was watermelon based and so refreshing. 5 Star Update! Have to update my initial review because, while it all still stands, a few additional dishes have pushed it into 5 star territory without a doubt! To re-iterate with my previous review-- Order the Million Dollar Bacon asap. It's legit one of my favorite treats in Orlando. You get 4 slices of hardwood smoked bacon baked with brown sugar, black pepper, cayenne and a maple syrup drizzle. It is sweet, smokey, spicy, and IRRESISTIBLE. I usually get my own order because I have no impulse control... Moving on to my favorite bowl: Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl. It's considered one of their protein bowls, with reason. It's filled with protein-packed quinoa mixed with kale, shredded carrots and house-roasted tomatoes topped with grilled all-natural lemon chicken breast, basil pesto sauce, feta crumbles and fresh herbs. This bowl hits the perfect balance of earthiness from the quinoa, creaminess from the basil pesto sauce and feta, and acidity from the lemon chicken breast (and the lemon wedges, which I highly suggest you give a big squeeze into your bowl). Part of me feels a bit shy to admit that I order this bad boy for delivery about twice a month (when I'm feeling like I need a pick-me-up and willing to pay for it). I'd honestly love to be able to replicate it at home, but doubt it would turn out as good (and who has the time for that?!). Of note this review was meant for the Henderson location. If you're looking for a good brunch place keep looking, this isn't it. Either that or we must have visited on an off day because we were both very disappointed in our meals. I ordered smoked salmon eggs Benedict (sauce on the side) & didn't want the biscuit / bread so I requested that it come on a slice of tomato. The tomato was soggy (only 1 slice was good) and the poached egg was a catastrophe. I honestly can't believe they had the audacity to serve unapologetically at a restaurant- I would be embarrassed. I mean check the photo out for yourself. It was basically a yellow ball that was overcooked and missing the majority of the egg whites.I also asked for a side of avocado, yes there's an upcharge if you're wondering. Im on with the upcharge. What I'm not ok with is that it came half brown. I would have preferred they say they didn't have any fresh avocados. Evidently, they aren't big on quality here. As a side note, they have cold pressed OJ so that's a plus. What they don't have is lattes and such...just your typical American coffee. First watch is great for a brunch on the weekend. I usually order online and pick up to avoid the long wait times on the weekends. Ordering online is super quick and easy. I've also ordered through Postmates and they have always exceeded my expectations when it comes to the packaging and the correct order. I usually order the farmhouse hash which comes with potatoes, tomatoes, avocado, bacon, and eggs. I have never had a bad farmhouse hash here and always get a fresh meal. We recently ordered the elote hash bowl which was incredible. If you love Mexican food and elotes, you will love this bowl. It has the exact flavor of elote while still maintaining the breakfast touch. In terms of drinks, I love the morning meditation. The drinks are fresh and free of any superficial flavors. Overall, I enjoy visiting or ordering from this first watch. If you plan to eat here on the weekends, I recommend joining the line on their website or in Yelp. Big let down. First, as you walk in, the front smell so bad. No air was circulating and it just Smell like wet dog and body odor. service was slow (maybe they should hire more staff?) and the food was decent at best. The tacos I had was so stale I couldn't even bite into it. The portion size at this location was a joke. I been to first watch plenty of times, but this location was a joke. the taco shells were big and the ingredients were barely filling it. I guess they were Trying to penny pinch?? The bacon was good but also cold. Couldn't even let the server know if I wanted too cause she was running around like her head was cut off. Hey management, maybe have an expo check the quality of the food going out and have another manager be present helping with the floor? Sad part is, the cashier checking me out up front ask how everything was and I told her but instead of grabbing a manager she just said "oh I'm sorry". I have been on a huge First Watch kick; I can't get enough!! I will often pick up breakfast on my way home from the gym or when I'm just being too lazy to cook in the morning. My go-to favorite is their avocado toast. I've had a lot of different avocado toasts but theirs is just amazing!! Their giant pancakes are also great and my boyfriend's fave. I also love their kale tonic. I am always a little skeptical the first time I try juices because I am picky with them, but theirs is so good and such a great alternative to my morning coffee! The atmosphere here is great. I haven't sat down to eat because it is always packed (for good reason), but the inside is so cute and has a great vibe. Avoid at all costs they have no experienced weight staff whatsoever. It is a calamity inside the kitchen and the front of house. Upon being seated I was immediately asked if I knew what I wanted for my entire order. I apologized and said no I will take a coffee for now and have a look at the menu. The waitress then did not reappear for another 15. Upon placing my order, which was regular eggs, Benedict it took almost 20 minutes for it to come out of the kitchen. It was absolutely ice cold. My original waitress did not stop by the table again even after the food was dropped off by another employee. I had to then flag down a third waitress to explain my food. Sitting and staring at my hands for another five minutes I decided to get up and pay for my meal. Fortunately, the hostess had the hindsight to allow me to leave without paying for anything which I greatly appreciate as I wasted 40 minutes of my morning and have not eaten breakfast yet. Also, the traditional eggs Benedict had nothing about it that was traditional other than cold hollandaise sauce. It's served on a ciabatta bun rather than an English muffin. First Watch is a great restaurant to go to if you want food that tastes fresh for breakfast. My favorite dish was the ricotta lemon pancakes. They were fluffy, fresh and hot as they came out. You could taste the lemon and ricotta with every bite. The strawberries on top were an added plus and made these pancakes a 10/10. I also really enjoyed the skillet hash- farm house. The hash browns were flavorful, crispy and well cooked. I loved the avocado and eggs as well as the toast combo. The drink sealed the deal for me. I enjoyed the refreshing morning meditation fresh juice and could really taste the ginger, lemon, orange, turmeric, agave nectar and beets with every gulp ! The purple haze was also a really good drink but on the sweeter side. That's more my partners preference. I'll definitely be coming back to first watch ! read more

I ordered the skillet hash, asked for the potatoes well done, everything was burnt including the mushrooms, squash, onions and the goat cheese was missing. Yesterday I ordered a veg omelette and the mixed greens were not fresh, smelled and tasted musty. The omelette was just OK. This place is cute as a button. We tried it for the first time on a busy Saturday morning and were able to get right in. The dining room is bright and open, plus they've got an outdoor seating area that's dog-friendly (bonus points). We started off with the Avocado Toast - it was on point and made a perfect appetizer to split between 2 people. I ordered the Biscuits & Gravy - they were just okay. I ordered my eggs over medium but they were prepared over easy. The potatoes were bland. The waitress barely checked on us but it was a busy Saturday morning so I'll cut her a little slack there. My sons and I came here as we continue to eat our way through Thanksgiving break. They wanted to go out to breakfast and I've been wanting to try First Watch bc whenever I pass it there are always lines out the door. When we walked in we were promptly greeted by a hostess who showed us to our seats. The interior was light and bright, and everything looked pretty new. Our waitress greeted us with coffee in hand (bless her) and took our drink orders. For breakfast we had: a kids meal scrambled eggs with bacon and a fruit bowl and it was honestly gorgeous. So many times you get kids meals and they look like prison food. Not here. It was beautifully arranged which made my son very excited. a Belgian waffle: nothing too outstanding here, it was large and delicious. We opted to forgo the fancy bc it was for my other son and god forbid you put anything grown up on it. Trifecta: Belgian waffle, eggs, bacon. Simple but delicious and again beautifully arranged not just slapped on a plate like IHOP does. We also ordered their seasonal donut holes and those were amazing. My friend and I are visiting Orlando for Halloween Horror Nights and came to enjoy a brunch before. First, the actual restaurant is so nicely decorated and clean. Secondly the food is amazing! See photos! The Million Dollar Bacon is a revelation! Third and most importantly, the service was amazing. The hostess had a great demeanor and a friendly greeting. Ask for Travis, our server! For instance, I order the eggs Florentine, but I didn't want the bread so they put it over greens for me. They also put the sauce on the side as well. My partner and I were browsing the menu because they have a great selection but the waitress continued to come back every minute to ask if we were ready to order. They open at 7! Gee....we tried to enter earlier then realized they don't open until 7 am....went for breakfast with bunch of friends from Jazzercise after a 5:30am class. My pals had regular coffee but I was too hot and in the mood for their cold brew which was VERY good!! Our server was a very cheery woman named Carly who was very helpful with menu suggestions and great at getting our coffee quickly, too- she even snapped a group pic for my Yelp check-in. I like 1st Watch because they have a great eclectic assortment of breakfast selections and take pride in offering healthy options that actually taste delicious! I had a special toast with mozzarella and cherry tomatoes as well as some good scrambled eggs ( it came with basted eggs, but I can't imagine eating a basted egg). Came here on our last day of vacation in Orlando. It was very busy when we arrived, but we got seated In a timely manner. They had so many options my wife and I wanted to try, so I'm sad we couldn't come back to try more items. The waitress Angie came by and left the coffee thermos on the table for us. She also recommended the egg, avocado, and cheese sandwich that my wife ordered. I chose eggs, bacon, toast with home made jam, potatoes, and a blueberry pancake. I go to first watch regularly - specifically the new one in Winter Park. It is a reliable breakfast /lunch spot in terms of menu, love the upbeat atmosphere and love to try the new health drinks they have. Had a mimosa there only once - it was only ok - but it's not what i go to first watch for - i stick w the kale tonic and morning sunrise. My breakfast choices are pretty standard: the skillet is great, and i regularly get the trifecta or French toast. Service is pretty reliable in terms of time to wait and attentiveness. Use the website to reserve ahead and wait less time. If it gets too busy, service timeliness relative to your order can get a bit off track, but they've always been quick to rectify mistakes. The meal comes with ham and they always honor my request of putting that on a different plate so it's not touching my food so my husband can eat it. The food always taste great. The eggs are scrambled nicely, not dry and not too wet. The toast is a nice non flimsy multigrain bread with butter and I love it too, especially dipped in their awesome coffee! We usually go early around 7am and there's never a line. Been there around 10am once and had to wait in line and it wasnt a long wait either. I have yet to experience the outside yet. Overall not a great experience. We were in town to visit friends and on our way back to NC wanting to grab some breakfast before our 8 hour drive. Not ideal as we had already been here 2 hours at this point. I love eggs Benedict. It's usually my go to at breakfast places and make them regularly at home. I usually expect the eggs to be runny when cutting into them. Or at least that's what I think of when I think of a poached egg. The eggs here appeared poached at first glance but when you cut into them they had a hard boiled consistency and appearance. Did I also mention they were cold. The smoked salmon was tasty and the bread was soggy. My GF food also looked pretty sad. Also cold. The salsa she had on the side looked like either someone took 80% of it out or if someone grabbed the left over salsa from another table and put it on the plate. We immediately asked for boxes and the check at this point since we just wanted to leave and make our journey back home. The million dollar bacon finally made it out onto the table. Again cold and very sad looking. Four small thin pieces of bacon were presented on the middle of the table one of which was cracked in half as to emphasize our broken spirits at this point. Although the flavor was good, definitely not worth the $5 price tag. We were beyond done at this point and decided to leave. When the hostess asked how our experience was. I replied not great. I usually just say fine or good even if it wasn't but I just couldn't help myself in this case. She was very kind and apologized emphasizing that it's not usually this crazy. She was kind enough to offer us a coupon. I advised that we are from out of town and unlikely to be back so she used the coupon for this visit. Overall the staff was friendly, professional and had overall great attitude even in what appeared to be a never ending rush. However after having spent over 2 hours at this establishment and given cold food I would say the overall experience was disappointing to say the least. read more
