One of my favorite brunch spots in Omaha even though its a chain - food is consistent, service can be iffy. Best to reserve a spot on the app before you get stuck waiting. read more

It was a beautiful day for or Sunday Funday and we decided to come here for some brunch. We were greeted, got our name on the list and only had to wait about ten minutes for a table. The place wasn't slammed but consistently busy. Since First Watch is a chain you can count on the food being consistent from location to location. Today wasn't any different. I had the Monterey Club and Tomato Basil Soup. I did order this as part of the 2 for 2 but something got lost in translation and I ended up with a whole sandwich instead of a half. The sandwich was delicious. Piled high with turkey, bacon, tomatoes and avocado. Highly recommend. The soup was warm, creamy and also delicious. I also had the Pomegranate Sunrise cocktail was fresh and delicious as well. So the reason for the 3 stars was the service after getting seated. We ordered the pumpkin spice donuts because we have had them and they are delicious but they didn't show up to the table until we were already done with our food so that was disappointing because we didn't even want them by that point. It also took asking three different servers to get some water and then the whole sandwich order that was put in as a full meal instead of the 2 for You. Not a super big deal in the grand scheme of things. You can count on the food being good and a great place to stop for breakfast or lunch. read more

The food was delicious ..staff was a bit slow..we were seated but waited a bit to get acknowledged and some drinks...compared to my other First Watch...this one was extremely loud..(high metal ceilings, open concept..I wasn't a fan at all..BUT the quality of the juice (morning mediation did not waiver ...it was delicious) Dean had the chorizo omelet topped with fresh avocado, fruit and toast..spot on..I had the barbacoa chilaquiles with black beans and eggs topped with fresh avocado ..it was amazing! read more

I cannot stress how good the million dollar bacon is, so so so so so good. Will be getting this every time I am there. The biscuits and gravy were amazing and the perfect portion, my girlfriend got the breakfast tacos(can't remember which ones exactly) and she said they were really good! We both got the pineapple express for our drink, so refreshing. The service was amazing, we did get in line ahead of time, but did not have to wait long once we arrived and checked in. We left stuffed and happy. read more

I do love the vibe of First Watch and the service was kind and helpful, especially for how busy they were. I ordered the Frittata Rustica and found it to be a bit bland, I was hoping for more flavor, but it seemed to me like glorified eggs. I did really enjoy the potatoes and toast that was served with it though! I had also gotten the Honey Caramel Crunch Iced Coffee. It unfortunately was way too sweet for my taste. There was a LOT of straight caramel at the bottom of the cup, and the coffee itself was over sweet. It kind of gave me a stomach ache. I would give First Watch another try, but I wooild definitely order different things. This was just a bit disappointing. read more

I always enjoy First Watch for brunch. Pro-tip: join the waitlist online! It was a busy Sunday morning, and we were sat right away. I had the Tri-Fecta and added an English muffin on the side. Everything was delicious. The coffee was smooth, the French toast was AMAZING, the bacon crispy and flavorful, and the English muffin was thick and covered in butter. Honestly a 10/10 breakfast for me! Additionally, from the moment we walked in through the entire service, staff were fantastic. read more

I haven't had first watch in a couple year being back in Nebraska, so I was excited to return as I have always enjoyed it! That being said, I wasn't impressed. Our server was short and acted like she didn't want to be there. She rushes the order and left. She did check on us a couple times. The food was the real disappointment. I've ordered the avocado toast for years and it was bland and flavorless. You could see the avocado was in a bowl before it was put on the cold toast. I got the watermelon wake up, it tasted mostly like mint and pineapple. My friends dish was incredibly salty. I would try another location before I returned here. read more

For some reason, the food at this location is just not as good as others in town. I usually love First Watch, but my food was overly salted and too much this past time--I had the SoCal bowl. It was loaded with potatoes and had so much salt that I could not eat much of it. Folks at the table commented it looked like I didn't even touch my dish. The portions here are very generous! The service is fantastic, and this location is clean, but I don't even like the food as much there. read more

I had a doctors appointment in Village point and my husband works near the area so we met up. there's never anything I can say wrong about first watch. The service is always great, the food is always amazing and we just love to relax and enjoy ourselves. I always try something new because the menu is constantly changing to keep up with the seasonal supply. My ultimate favorite thing to order is the million dollar bacon. On this particular day, we ordered two plates. Sometimes you have to splurge. read more

We've been coming to First Watch since they first opened. In the past, the food has typically been good and served hot. The service has never been exceptional, but it hasn't been terrible either. One ongoing issue, however, is that the hostess stand is rarely staffed, so there's almost always a wait just to be acknowledged and seated. Unfortunately, this most recent visit followed the same pattern--only worse. We waited at least five minutes before anyone came to seat us, and then another ten minutes passed before our waitress took our drink and food order. When our meals finally arrived, they were ice cold. It was clear the plates had been sitting for some time, especially since someone other than our waitress brought them to the table. For the first time ever, when the waitress asked how everything tasted, we told her honestly that the food was too cold to eat. She apologized and stepped away. A few minutes later, she returned with two $20 gift cards and informed us that the manager had removed our breakfast from the bill. That was the right decision, and it's the only reason I'm giving this experience two stars instead of one. While I appreciate that the manager handled the situation appropriately, it doesn't change the fact that we didn't get to enjoy breakfast due to their lapse in service. Sadly, this visit has convinced us that we won't be returning. read more

They told us a 15-20 min wait, we ended up waiting for 50 minutes and I even did the "get in line" on their website. That's our only complaint! Overall the food never disappoints though and very family friendly atmosphere. read more

Food was good which is why I gave 2 stars. Went this afternoon and we always leave a good tip but this time just couldn't. We thought it would be fun to sit at the bar and the server was absolutely terrible. Wasn't friendly, took a long time to take our order, then just disappeared. No check ins or refills. She was clearly unhappy about something which may have impacted her level of service. My other complaint is the restaurant was mess, lots of dirty dishes at most tables and at the bar and the bathrooms were not clean. Maybe they were short staffed today since it was New Year's Eve but this was not our typical experience. read more

Per usual, I had a great experience at FW. The wait wasn't too bad for 12pm on a Saturday. Of course I got the morning meditation with the immunity boost and that is the best way to start the day. I tried TWO new things today since it was lunch time. I went with the chicken pesto bowl, which WOW I didn't know how healthy I could get, but this was pretty dan healthy. A huge bowl of chicken, sundried tomatoes, pesto sauce and quinoa for days. It was SO flavorful, my mouth is still watering thinking about it. We also added the floridan french toast, which was great and I liked the kiwi addition and blackberry jam. Somehow our service wasn't what I'm used to and that peeved me, but once we got out food I wasn't hangry anymore :) read more

I've been to First Watch several times but it was my first at this location. We opted to sit on the patio which was a nice size and well kept. The menu has a great selection of various items for both breakfast and lunch. Some of the lunch items sound good but I usually lean towards breakfast when here. The benedicts and million dollar bacon are my typical go-tos. I also love the juice options they have, specifically the Morning Meditation. Service is usually prompt and food quality is good. My only negative is that you have to go to the front counter to pay. It boggles my mind that you can have full table service but the servers aren't able to complete the full transaction for you. I went to the counter after we finished and someone else was waiting to pay but no one was at the counter to assist. I took the opportunity to use the restroom and by the time I got back, still no one was at the counter, although the other table must have paid as they were gone. Whilst waiting, I just decided to use the QR code to pay so I could get moving. I prefer to close out with a person rather than my phone but maybe that's just me being picky. read more

Manager Christine and waitress Kylie are queens :) They were so thoughtful of my momma who was celebrating her birthday and is prepping for chemo this week. They took the extra moment to share words of encouragement and kindness, in addition to the awesome food! We had an amazing experience with minimal wait time, thanks to the app and being on the waitlist. Our server Tara went above and beyond! Tara was so thoughtful to ask how our holidays went and made everything correct when my plate wasn't just right, even got a coupon. Another great experience with my travel favorite breakfast place. This First Watch was across the 4 lane highway from my hotel Home2Suites. Only tricky thing about the parking is if you're planning to get back into the highway after you eat, make sure and go to the stop light to make that left hand turn! Today I got the Baracoda Breakfast Bowl with a side of sourdough toast and it definitely didn't disappoint. Flavorful and filling! My server was also great: friendly and knowledgeable, and she even kept up with my TikTok side of sourdough in a genuine fashion. read more

I've been to first watch a number of times but this one was different. I usually attend with my family when they come from out of town since they have a wide variety of menu items. My family loves the Belgian waffles and the sunrise granola bowl. This time we decided to change things up a bit and order some fun breakfast drinks! We got the spiked lavender lemonade and the cinnamon toast cereal milk. Both were lovely, but the lavender lemonade was my favorite! As for food, I don't think you could order anything here and not enjoy it! I ordered off the seasonal menu getting the shishito brisket hash and let me tell you, IT. WAS. AMAZING. The creativity put into this dish with the brisket, garlic aioli, and pickled onions was an insanely delicious combination. This was a good pairing with the lavender lemonade. My handsome brunch date ordered the Trifecta. It was the perfect ratio of sweet and savor pairing a light and fluffy Belgian waffle with eggs and a chicken sausage patty. Our waitress was also super sweet and made sure we were taken care of! This establishment is always well maintained and I really thought the Nebraska themed decor was a nice touch. This restaurant never fails to blow my socks off!! read more

We've been wanting to check this place out for brunch for a long time. I got the biscuits and gravy with potatoes, scrambled eggs and cheese. The biscuits were dry and hard. The gravy was decent. The seasoning on the potatoes was good, but the different sizes in the potatoes led to inconsistency in cooking. Some were undercooked while others had a nice crips. My wife's French toast was excellent, but it was very odd that it didn't come with sides. I had more than enough so we shared. The service was friendly and attentive. It was hit or miss for me, but we may come back. read more

It's been a little while since I've gone to First Watch but this morning seemed like the perfect time to revisit! The wait was less than 5 minutes which was amazing! And the hostess and server were so kind! I stuck with my usual order of the Elevated Egg Sandwich which had by far the crispiest bacon on earth! The side of potatoes was amazing and just enough to share with my friend joining me! They had so many new items on the menu and a lot of variation to make you full but not feel like a cow. I will return soon and next time I will get myself an iced coffee (best thing on the menu)!! read more

I've been at this First Watch several times now for breakfast and lunch and it's generally good. Service is always "fine"- never remarkable and never bad. Food is always between good-great. I've had anything from their pancakes to quinoa and eggs benedict. On my most recent visited I tried their carnitas with potatoes, eggs, pickled onions, and salsa verde and it was delicious. A little heavy on the potatoes (cheap ingredient) and I would've loved more pork, but the flavor was tasty! What I love about this location is the convenience, spaciousness, and overall the aesthetics of the interior. If you're going in the morning I would avoid the spot furthest East because you'll get the sun in your eyes. Again, this place is a safe bet for a decent meal. Still waiting for them to wow me though :) read more

I always enjoy a good breakfast / brunch place, and first watch never disappoints. The atmosphere is very bright and inviting, with plenty of space to sit either inside or outside. The food was amazing for this recent trip. I had the traditional breakfast tacos and a plain pancake for my son. The tacos were perfectly seasoned, full of cheese, and complimented by fresh salsa and avocado. My son's pancake was nice and fluffy. The reason for 4 stars was due to the service. They were not very busy when we went but it took quite awhile to be greeted and then only checked on when I had to call someone over. I know they can do better here, so I won't make that a reason to not come back. read more

Hit this new spot for breakfast after our check out. Nice new very clean facility. I ordered the Bacado omelet with side of ham. The salad that came with it was a nice touch but the dressing was so acidic it made my mouth hurt. The omelet was great and the multi grain toast was actually really nice. Ham was nice and salty like a good breakfast ham should be! The old man ordered the trifecta and tried to eat it all but he left one wedge of his waffle! He agreed that this place is a great spot for breakfast. read more

We mostly enjoyed everything. We tried classic eggs Benedict, lemon ricotta pancake, millionaire bacon, sausage, farmhouse scramble, French toast, and waffle. The waffle, French toast, pancake, and millionaire bacon was phenomenal! They were all so good!! The farmhouse scramble was ok at best. The potatoes were almost burnt. The eggs Benedict was meh. The egg was completely undercooked and fell apart as soon as you cut it which resulted in a lot of water running into the Hollandaise. The hollandaise did not have a lot of flavor even before it was watered down from the underdone egg. Service was also just ok. 3 peoples meals came out all at the same time. The eggs Benedict and French toast came out about 5-10 minutes later. We would probably go back but not order eggs Benedict or the scramble again. read more

Good food, food came out quick, service was awesome! Great experience for my first time here

We had a company breakfast here the other day. The vast breakfast food selection was great and with the guidance of my boss, who frequents here, I found a great meal. Our server was also very nice. She did seem overwhelmed at times with the half full restaurant and forgot a few things, but that was about all the "negative" on this mid morning visit. It is a very clean and open space and it sure felt like you were welcome and appreciated as a customer. Might have to come back amd try some.of the other delicious items on the menu read more

To me Eggs Benedict is one of those dishes that you keep simple. You know soft poached eggs, Canadian bacon, Hollandaise sauce, an English muffin and hash browns. It is the result of a century or two of evolution. But what do we have here? A ciabatta bun instead of an English muffin,, soft poached eggs covered with a somewhat tasteless sauce, tomatoes...tomatoes?!...home fries sprinkled with strong seasoning that blew away the otherwise delicate taste of the dish, ham that tasted like Arby's did it. It was lousy because someone is trying to, as they say on the food channels, "take it up a notch". All I want is a classic dish without the pretentiousness. read more

So happy to have them open up in this location! With Covid we have only done the take out. I was skeptical how well breakfast would hold up for a carry out order but they do a great job of it. Ordered BLTE which includes egg. Pretty good, but this is a case where non-artisan food is better. I like a BLT with crispy iceberg lettuce. The contrast between the iceberg and bacon is what makes the sandwich an icon. The First Watch BLTE comes with some wilted spring greens on the side. That's not the lettuce that belongs in a BLT. Takeout was smooth and as they are within walking distance of my new office I will be back sometime, but for something different. read more

This was fine. Nothing was great and a few things were off. The avocado toast was fine- the toast was nice, but the avocados were a bit carbonated (this means that they were fermenting and likely stored in a metal container). The kale juice is fine but the turmeric juice was wayyyy to sweet. The eggs Benedict Florentine was not great because the bread was cold and not toasted well and the tomato was hard. The biscuits and gravy was very yummy though. When I was deciding on what to order I looked at the chia pudding online. To my dismay there was a whopping 50 grams of sugar and when I talked to the server she confirmed my suspicion that it was mainly from agave syrup. It really bugs me when restaurants like this claim to be healthy when in reality they are misleading consumers. At least with fast food like McDonalds they don't pretend to be healthy, but this is really misleading for people who want a nutritious meal. read more

A fairly busy location on Sunday morning, but using the app to put your name on the list minimizes wait time. Better parking lot than the 147th and Maple location. Got seated right away, our server was fine. Food for 3 took 40-45 minutes to come out. The server apologized for the delay a couple of times. When it finally came out, my carnitas tostada was missing the carnitas. The server got the manager who offered to bring out a bowl with the missing meat. No comps or discounts asked for, offered, or given. Volume inside was very loud. Food wasn't too bad, other than missing ingredient. All in all, could have been worse, but not gonna come back to this location. read more

Returned to First Watch this morning, seated quickly and the great coffee was brought over. Everything was great until the Eggs Benedict arrived at the table within 15 minutes. The eggs were cold while the potatoes were semi- hot. This told me they either had to make another batch while the eggs sat there or someone forgot to bring the dish to our table when this was ready. Disappointing to lower the 5 stars to a 3 rating and I hope this will be corrected if I return. It probably won't be for a while due to this. read more
