Whatever. Just another typically overpriced, chain style, breakfast/brunch place. Somewhat reminiscent of Le peep restaurants when they were around back in the day. I guess it serves a purpose, but nothing really stood out with me about this place except that the coffee was delicious tasting. We have been wanting to try this place, but definitely would not endure any kind of a wait at pretty much any restaurant unless we had NO other option. It seems like this place for whatever reason, always has a wait. I can't explain that. To me that's like waiting 20 mins at Denny's. Who would do that? BLT benedict was good according to my wife. My belgian waffle was undercooked. Kids chocolate chip pancakes were normal size and what you would expect. Service was average or slightly lacking in attentiveness, but made up for it slightly in helpfulness. Pros: Easy parking Tasty coffee Good kids meals Cons: Slightly overpriced Not sure why anybody would wait to eat here... read more

I so badly want to give this place more stars, but I just can't justify it. I came here early on a Saturday morning with a group of friends. They had arrived before me, so they were seated a few minutes before I came in. It was 8 AM, so the place was not very busy yet, and yet we did not see our server for almost twenty minutes. Eventually our server did arrive, and he was clearly a little overwhelmed as it seem like he kept getting distracted while taking our order. My friend had spilled a small amount of water and asked for some extra napkins after he took our order, which he said he'd gladly do, but then he didn't return for another ten minutes. The food was decent. I had the smoked salmon eggs benedict with potatoes. The eggs benedict was pretty good, the potatoes were quite bland. One of my eggs was cooked all the way through, which was disappointing. By the time we left a little after 9, the place was much busier and it was difficult to pay at the counter, since there was no space reserved for a queue. With tip, my tab came out to $18 for a decent but not great entree, without a drink, so it was a bit overpriced in my opinion. I would probably not come back again. read more

Like everyone else on yelp, I am beyond happy that First Watch opened in Northglenn. Northglenn is definitely lacking in good restaurants. However, this part of town is developing fast and I am loving the new additions to my small hometown. Moreover, First Watch is the best breakfast & brunch place we have thus far. It is very modern, clean, and chic. Wait time to be seated and served is not horrible (For now at least, until it becomes known; which it certainly will). My boyfriend and I came here for breakfast Tuesday morning and the place was not packed, but had customers. We ordered the eggs benedict and the Floridian French toast. The eggs benedict is very traditional; it's made with English muffin, eggs, ham, hollandaise sauce, and strangely tomatoes. I have had many benedicts in my life and I never had it with tomatoes. I am not a fan of it either. Besides the tomato, First Watch's benedict is well made; delicious and had all the right flavors. As for the Floridian French toast, it was massive. It comes with three toasts topped with fresh bananas, strawberries, kiwis and a side of jam. It was good nonetheless. I was definitely happy with our meal. Service was really great too. This place is going to get busy fast I just know it. read more

My favorite breakfast spot I've ever been to! Every dish I've had there is to die for! Food is fresh and all of the breakfast combinations are legendary. It does get crazy busy though, and I don't enjoy fighting in line to pay at the front after eating. There's only 1 host at the front if you're lucky, and the poor girl has to try and ring up 8 people and seat others waiting for tables simultaneously. I'm sure this chain makes good money, they should hire more to work the front or have the servers bring checks to the table. Still 5 stars though because it's beyond worth it, food is truly 10/10 read more

Delicious, unique breakfast and lunch meals. I ordered the appetizer bacon (a fav) and the eggs Benedict

Great good with a different spin. They loose 1 point as their website says they have vegan options; however, the vegan options are limited. I would like to see a tofu scramble here. read more

After reading the reviews, how could I not come here?!?! I am a breakfast enthusiast and breakfast is my favorite meal! However, the name is cute but the name throws people off into thinking its a security company and not a breakfast/brunch establishment. Moving on, I liked how the interior was decorated. Very open and clean looking, the restaurant had that look and feel of farm to table. We chose to sit outside, it was a fall day but still fairly warm out. The menu is fairly simple but they still offer a variety of your normal breakfast entrees. I decided to go with the key west Crepeggs away from my normal order of Benedicts or French toast. Oh man, that was a huge mistake. Majority of the time when I've had crepes, it's been savory and sweet. To be honest, this wasn't my favorite because I kept thinking that crepes are dessert tasting. The crepe was a little dry and it simply was missing something, can't put my finger on what that something was. This crepe had turkey, avocados, bacon, cheese, tomatoes, and eggs with a side of English muffin and potatoes. Although my choice wasn't the best, my fiancée loved his. He got the 2 for you deal that runs from open to close. Basically you get to choose from a list of sandwiches, which you'll get half of and either salad or soup. He ordered a Reuben with the pecan salad. The pecan salad was quite flavorful and appetizing! I loved everything about from the fresh greeneries to the dressing. I didn't get to try the Reuben but my fiancée said its one of the better Reuben's he's had. He'd definitely get that order again. Lastly, service could be better. Our table specifically only got checked on once or twice. That being when our food was brought out to us and when our check was ready. So, I was a tad disappointed when I've read rave reviews about their service. But compared to the table next to ours, their waitress came out about 4-5 times to check on them. I still want to come back and give this place a 2nd chance. read more

This place is in my neighborhood and I'm so glad it is! I've been going here since they opened their doors and let me tell you, it was a great surprise to see the menu. Everything is very organic, vegan and gluten-free friendly if need be, and farm to table. The menu is geared towards healthier eating but you can still find a morning Bloody Mary or Mamosa there as well. The juices are freshly made and always delicious and you gotta try the thick cut bacon. Keep in mind, prices are a little on the higher end but not terrible and certainly well worth it. So expect a little wait on the weekends because this place is poppin! read more

Eh, it was ok. Very hipster. So much so that there was a hipster beard un my otherwise delicious breakfast :( I don't understand why so many restaurants around here have issues with hair in their food!!! It is disgusting! Hygiene, please?! Also, I saw the waitress picking up bread with her bare hands and then putting them on people's plates after she had been clearing tables and touching computer screens. I would love this place, it's in a great location and has great food. But I'm never going back because the coffee was disgusting, the service was awful, and beard hair...I hope it was from a beard at least... read more

We had an amazing breakfast here recently. Hubby and I were in the mood for a different breakfast place instead of the usual chain food and Yelped a location and boom - we ended up here. Yes, there will be a wait, it's expected. There's a hotel or two in the nearly vicinity and continental breakfast is boring so I'm sure most folks are referred here. We waited 20 min for a table and had no problem with it. I was hangry as heck, but read reviews beforehand and anticipated the wait. Our server, Alex was great. For being slammed and seemingly understaffed (2 servers and 1 busser), he rocked his service. Our order was taken quickly and received quickly, believe it or not and there was sooo much food involved. We ordered the biscuits and gravy w/ham steak, eggs benedict, and shared 2 pancakes that were as big as the whole plate. Everything tasted well, but my only complaint would be the potatoes. They were a little bland and mushy, and really need some crisp to them as that would make the plate much better. Try the pumpkin and pecan pancakes as a combo, you won't be disappointed, they work well together. read more

I love this place! The best brewed coffee ever, always friendly wait staff, delicious food, beautiful atmosphere. The first time here I got the Chickichanga which is a breakfast burrito with avocado, chicken, eggs, and chorizo on the inside and topped with green chile and sour cream - out of this world! I've also had the eggs Benedict, the Tri-athlete and the pineapple juice and all were delicious. I choose this place over Cracker Barrel now (right across the highway) because the coffee is better, the service is quicker, and I feel like there are more fresh and healthy options. read more

I went yesterday for mother's day.... Man was that dumb... We waited in line for 2 hours... You would think we would leave but the food is always worth a wait. We had to wait another 45 minutes for the food to come... No sure that was worth the wait but we were seated and we had our drinks so we were happy. They also gave all the Mothers a little box of chocolates. How thoughtful that was. We loved the Italian Eggs Benedict. WOW!!!! That was delicious. And I always love their coffee.. Even with the long wait they still deserve 4 stars from me. read more

I've been at First watch twice. My first experience was no good. Suuuuuuper slow service PLUS I specifically requested no meat in my order ("The Traditional") and came with bacon :( Ok. Second time... way better! Great food and service. Thanks for the come back! I had the Avocado toast from the "Healthier side" on the menu and it was quite good. Also, they offer cold pressed juices that new pretty delicious. It is pretty tricky to get a table during peak hours for breakfast and brunch BUT there is a long sharable table in the dining room to the right of the host stand that is for walk-ins (first come first serve) customers. The servers leave a carafe of coffee on your table which is nice. The 2 times I noticed a long line and long waits so I recommend to make a reservation. read more

Hands down my favorite breakfast place in town! I am pretty plain when it comes to breakfast so I usually get the Tri-Fecta combo and add some potatoes. It gives me everything I need in a breakfast, a (large) pancake, eggs, bacon and some potatoes. The coffee is flavorful but not overpowering, and the unique items like the chickichanga are always a nice fall back. They have an app that you can download to jump in the waitlist, which I highly recommend if you're visiting on the weekends! read more

Went here as a half way spot for meeting a friend from Longmont... had no idea what to expect- and... I am watching my health... and not only were there tons of healthy options- they were fresh and delicious! I loved the pesto chicken quinoa bowl and had a juice that was fresh made with kale cucumber etc- just a little vodka would have made it perfect! Our server was great and we stayed and talked for an hour and nobody rushed us out! It was a perfect place to meet up and I hope you all can check it out! read more

Great place for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. This place is fairly popular and I can see why, the food is great! I went with a Green Chile Chorizo Omelete and it was SO good. Even better, was the fresh squeezed orange juice. There were lots of gluten free and other healthy options on the menus so even if you are particular about what you can eat, you will find something great regardless. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive, and even though the place was very busy, our wait time was roughly about 10 minutes. I have eaten at other First Watch's in the past. We have moved here from Phoenix and we have struggled to find good restaurants. After discovering there was a First Watch here, we were excited to swing by after a good hike. Unfortunately, the experience was only mediocre. The server took our order and then didn't return for quite some time. I ran out of soda quickly and not for about 20 minutes did I get a refill. The food was ok but a little on the cool side. Bottom line: It was ok, not great not bad. We will keep looking... read more

Love this place! I have been coming up here for lunch for a while and just found it. It's a little hidden, but it is a gem. Their food is so fresh&delicious and the atmosphere is relaxed/cute country - perfect for a breakfast, brunch, and lunch place. The service was very friendly and great, although food prep took a little while... I'm sure this was because it is fresh and not canned... (most places that serve quality ingredients tend to do this) That's alright with me!!! Give me quality over mediocre food any day! read more

Northglenn @ 120th/I-25 has redeveloped a trendy dining experience adding "First Watch" a cool new breakfast delight. Not quite your Dennys/Perkins experience and is usually pretty busy. I don't know how you can be this bad when you only do breakfast. Nothing seemed to be fresh or made in house. The omelette was spongy, green chilies were literally out of a hatch green chili can, chorizo was terrible, potatoes soggy and had been sitting around for a while, the 'greens' were literally a handful of mixed greens like you buy at Costco by themselves. No dressing, nothing else with them. The service was fine though. Waited 45 minutes on a Saturday to be majorly disappointed. Next time we'll happily wait an hour at the Delectable Egg down the road. read more

STAY AWAY! While I appreciate that many businesses are struggling during the reopening process - the staff at First Watch do not seem to care for the the customers making the effort to venture out in support. We were advised of a 15 minute wait when we checked in - we waited for over an hour. Once seated, 5 minutes before a server came over & disappeared for several more minutes before taking our order. Over 30 minute wait time to get our food & a forgotten appetizer. All we ask is for communication - which we received none. Not an update on the additional wait time, the server did not check on us during our long for delay & no apology for wasting over two hours of our Sunday. The cleaning is less than par, had to wipe down our own chairs & saw the gentleman in charge remove his mask a number of times. A lot to be desired - would never recommend this location of First Watch! read more

The wait is always much shorter than Cracker Barrell. The million dollar bacon is my fave. I also love to try the energy breakfast drinks.

Terrible! Told it would be a 20 minute wait. After 50 minutes we're approached them about outside sitting. Seated in the sun., not ideal( 25 additional minutes after seated in the sun, an hour and 15 minutes after we were told there was a 20 minute wait our text arrived that our table was ready). 7 minutes after seated waitress #1 came to take our drink order. With the wait we ordered food too. 5 minutes later waitress #2 showed and apologized for the wait asking what we wanted to drink. True indication of the chaos that this place is. Food was ok, but given our experience we won't be back. Don't trust what they tell you about the wait!!!! read more

I absolutely LOVE this place! A great addition to the area as we don't offer many good breakfast spots around here. Been here a couple times and have never experienced more than a 15 minute wait. I usually call before just to make sure because I have seen it get pretty crazy. Everything I've tried so far has been delicious and I love how there are side alternatives! Fresh fruit is always that.. Absolutely fresh Lightly dressed greens.. Dressed just right for flavor. And who doesn't love potatoes? Last time around got the Eggs Benedict and the eggs and hollandaise were perfect! English muffin was a little too over cooked and crunchy for my liking though. Of course things like that happen whenever you're not cooking your own food so no big deal. Overall from the food to the service I've never been disappointed here. read more

Good food - but the wait was ridiculous. Multiple groups of two that came in after us (group of 3) got seated one after another after barely waiting 5-10 min. After we got seated 45 min later, I saw a lot of those same groups of two were seated at 4 tops. There was even a single lady at a table meant for 6! The hostesses obviously had no idea what they were doing. I would have enjoyed our food much more if the seating wasn't such a mess.
