We loved First Watch on 57th ave! It was our first time ever trying this brunch place and it did not disappoint. Parking on the weekend is kind of tough since everyone comes here to eat, and wait times on Sundays are usually long because the church is right next door. But aside for this the experience, staff and food was 10/10! I appreciated that you could join the waitlist online, so make sure to take advantage of that. We got their limited time million dollar bacon and wow it was SO good! I got the Trifecta and substitued the waffle for french toast. My boyfriend got the same with the pancake and it was massive. The drinks were also delish! I got their Lavander Haze and my boyfriend got their limited edition Mocha Mint coffe and it was WOW! Overall.m I definitely recommend trying this place out if you havent already and especially this location as the staff was super nice and the restaurant was clean as well!

I've been here a few times and it's always packed & the staff is super sweet and the food is surprisingly creative and consistently good! Think of it as a more elevated Denny's with laidback coastal California, farm-to-table vibes. Love their seasonal juices & french toast. Cute decor, great energy, and solid food every time. Love my neighborhood First Watch, always get service with a smile (shoutout to Joanna on this particular visit). They have so many options to choose from whether you are looking for a healthy option or just want some really delish pancakes there's something on the menu for you. Had an amazing breakfast experience this morning! New items on the menu to try however came back for my favorite - my morning meditation drink for starters! All the mixing in between and taking home pumpkin spice donuts for a snack later. The manager was walking around greeting everyone and asking about our time, food and service, which all was wonderful. Stop by and see Mr. Ebenson and his crew, they are working for your pleasure up in here!

This is for the location in the Blue Lagoon area. I first tried First Watch in St. Petersburg and was so impressed by it and had been longing to go again. So when I saw that there is one close to me l was super happy to go! Everything I have ever tried at FW has been phenomenal! I love that it's a healthy joint but has so much flavor and deliciousness that you feel soooo satisfied while eating there. The aesthetics of this place is cute, clean, modern and fun! The service was really nice and on point! Now for the food, we tried a blueberry and carrot pancakes. The blueberry was my favorite! I must be honest, I didn't feel there was enough carrot flavor in the carrot cake pancake but it was still good! But if I had to order pancakes again, l'd probably go for the blueberries or try a new flavor! The syrup was so warm and thick! I loved it!! The drinks are amazing! We've tried the Purple Haze, Morning meditation and the one with beats in it which the name escapes me right now... I wish they would stay open a little past 2:30 on the weekends!

they took forever to serve us like they were avoiding our table, i've experienced this before they probably think we won't tip. it was upsetting. the ambiance was weird the vibes in the restaurant were strange like we weren't comfortable. that's miami though, establishments are weird toward black people sometimes. the food was OKAY. my last first watch experience was terrible the food tasted old and not good. this time was a little better the food wasn't too bad.

I though the food was so good. I'm gluten free and felt like I had substantial options to eat. The iced coffee is premade so if you are dairy free you cannot get those. I thought it was good service and we had a great server that was attentive. It was a nice fast casual restaurant. An elevated and less problematic Cracker Barrel but also better food.

After a 5 hour red-eye flight, I just wanted to get some breakfast and get to my hotel to get some sleep. This place is a short drive from Miami Airport (MIA) so I decided to check it out. We were greeted and seated immediately upon walking it. The restaurant has a modern but rustic vibe. Our table was clean and comfortable. We waited about 15-minutes before our server came over to introduce herself. She told us she would be right back to take our drink and food orders. Fast-forward 30-Minutes, we were still waiting for her to come back. When she finally came back, she took our food and drink orders at the same time. She brought my coffee out right away, but our food took an additional 35-40 minutes to arrive on the table. Service was snail-slow here. On the bright side... My food arrived hot, fresh and delicious. I had the Strawberry Tres Leches French Toast and it was absolutely delicious; I highly recommend it. The coffee was on point too! Overall, this place is fantastic! If service was better I would've given 5 stars. I'd definitely come back! Recommended!

First time at First Watch. It was delicious. I had the Farmhouse hash and it was amazing. I didn't finish it because I was too full. It was not dry at all. Everything about my dish was great. Service, needs more training unfortunately. My waitress came to my table been annoying more than 5 times. Seems like she was trying to get us to leave. Brought the check while I still had more than half of my plate, to come back 5 minutes later asking if I need anything else. 5 minutes after that I rushed to finish my food so that she doesn't come again and there she was again! Asking the same thing. Told her that I just want to finish my coffe and pay. Now I have to rush finishing my coffee before she comes again. Crazy! If it wasn't for her I would absolutely give it a 5 Star! read more

I love the design of this restaurant. It's very modern and hip. They have dairy free and vegetarian options as well and a waiting area in case the restaurant is busy with self serve lemon water and free coffee. I tried the egg sandwich and it was delicious, but I was expecting it to be more lemony since it's supposed to have a lemon mayo in it. The food took a little bit long to come out, but it was probably because I went during their breakfast rush hour. The morning meditation juice is extremely delicious and highly recommended. I'm a little bit skeptical on whether it was freshly squeezed though because it came out so fast. All in all my experience was great and I feel like this is a hidden gem in this area. My waitress forgot about me. Another waitress brought out my food on a plate that appeared to be used with remnants of ketchup on the plate. I got no refills or water. I was disappointed with service on this day. The original waitress returned and explained that she was training a new guy in the kitchen. She apologized offered to pay for my coffee I requested. read more

Just fantastic and healthy! Also, if you want bacon, they got it! We bussed down salmon, elote, bananas foster and a regular old (HUGE) pancake for the little one. Portion sizes are generous and flavor is not compromised. Go here fo sure! read more

Placed myself on the waiting list it said 30-45 mins. Arrived at the 40 min mark, after waiting about 15 mins asked estimated time to be seated and they said there were still 7 ahead of us. We visit first watch pretty much every location we travel to..and the app works like a charm. The most we've waited is about 5 mins. I believe this is up to management to figure out how to make the time on the app be accurate. It's a great service if it works. In a city like Miami there are other options. We obviously left. read more

So happy that First Watch has finally opened a restaurant in Miami. What took you so long? I literally have been asking for over 10 years for you to open a store here. Now that they're open it looks like they are doing very well. Literally there is nothing like this in Dade County. A modern American style breakfast that is affordable....and the food is delicious too. Look forward to you opening many more stores in Miami. Loyal customer. read more

This was my go to breakfast spot for my vacation in Miami. The wait times were short, staff was kind, prices were cheap, and the food was DELICIOUS. We came here three times, ordered three different menu items and were pleased EVERYTIME! Definitely recommend. read more

I have been told by two different friends how good the food (breakfast) was at this place. So after living across the street for 2.5 years, I decided to go for it order for pick up. I ordered French Toast, side of Potatoes, and scrambled eggs...oh and an overpriced cup of Orange juice-all for $25. To say I was sadly disappointed is an understatement. The eggs were ice cold, the French Toast were mediocre at best, Potatoes weren't terrible, and the Orange Juice microscopic size. I enjoy clean eating, but does not mean that it lack flavor. Disappointed! :( read more

For being a chain restaurant, you wouldn't know. The food is so fresh and flavorful. If they still have it I highly recommend the side salad with the lemon vinaigrette. I could not get enough of it! The smoked salmon and roasted vegetable frittata was simply amazing. read more

Happy birthday to me got to go to breakfast at this excellent location super waitress excellent coffee food just so so little disappointed in the eggs Benedict the beauty of eggs Benedict being a chef is that the eggs are not over done so when the yolk is broken mix with the hollandaise sauce and the English muffin the tomato and the ham today it makes for a beautiful thing sorry to say the English muffin was not toasted sorry to say the eggs were overdone still taste taste great also had some French toast well done got some bacon extra well done and crispy all in all I'll come back one of the problems In food and beverage operations today is consistency this restaurant at this moment is not consistent but I'll try it again hopefully a better experience next time read more

Gluten Free Review: this was my first time at a First Watch and this place is amazing at accommodating gluten allergies, they had a lot of options to choose from! I ended up ordering one of my favorite dishes, Shakshuka. This shakshuka was a little odd, as it had chicken in it. It was good & the gluten free toast was good with it as well. One thing I was disappointed about was a lot of the lettuce in my side salad was wilted and mushy. This is something that really bothers me when eating a salad, as I like all of my food to be fresh. I had to pick out all of these pieces which was unappetizing. Overall, the main dish was good & I will try out another location by my house again soon. Note: I am not not celiac and do not have issues with cross contamination. If you are celiac please speak with the server before ordering. read more

I absolutely loved this place. I will recommend this spot for any breakfast lovers. The meal was put together so beautifully and it was super delicious. I ordered an extra egg because I believe the original portion of eggs is too small for me. The waitress who served me was named Milly, and she was great! I can't say enough about this place the breakfast is crazy good and fresh! I have gone here several times and every single time it's great. The servers are very cheery them seem to enjoy working there. Forget expensive brunches this place is the perfect Sunday breakfast spot. I love the works omelette with spring mix salad and gluten free toast. My wife gets the ham and gruyere melt with tomato soup. I went back to First Watch (this time in Miami). While I found the food to be better than my initial visit in Champions Gate, the location suffered from some of the same service lapses I originally experienced. I really like the lay out of the place and think there is real potential for something special here.. they just need to shore up some of the service issues that seem to plague them. read more

I originally tried First Watch in Orlando, and when I discovered there was a location in Miami, I went the next weekend! This place is absolutely great! I first stubbled upon first watch in broward and my husband and I absolutely loved it. It was worth the wait. Little did I know that you can actually get in line via the application you can download on your phone. Now its lil to no wait to get your table! I completely recommend to eat everything and anything from the menu, it's all good! Try one of the juices they have they are pretty awesome, my fave is the morning meditation. It has orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave nectar and beets!!! It tastes so great you have no idea. Believe me... The only thing I have to say is that because this place is soooo good and always packed that your food does take a while to get to your table. Which sadly why I give it 4 stars instead of 5. read more

I am so thrilled this location opened! I first went to the one in Boca, and then to Pembroke Pines! I was wondering when they were going to come South. If you are looking for a hearty healthy breakfast this is the place! I've done reviews on all locations before and would say nothing but the best for this location also. Everything I had was great & of course the best part is that there are so many healthy options. I am also happy to see the place packed meaning that people are really seeking healthy options. The couple next to us drove from Downtown! This is definite yes!! read more

Worst experience ever. I go to first watch all the time. My favorite breakfast place from when I lived in Orlando. Miami service just ruined it. I usually come by myself and am in and out in 30 minutes. Most breakfast places have it set up this way. I was sat down by myself in a corner, scared no one would see me. They didn't. Service came to two tables who sat after me before someone noticed me from across the restaurant. After ordering all my food 15 minutes into sitting, I didn't get it for 20-30 minutes.. bite into cold pancakes. Couldn't get any service or get them heated up because no microwave. They did offer me new pancakes but after being here an hour and a half I opted to take it home. Of course wasn't given silverware or any syrup to take it home. I'm not one to complain to managers. The server should've talked to the manager and I shouldn't have paid. I literally have to heat up my pancakes at home. I recommend other locations but this one definitely needs work. read more

We are First Watch junkies as we are annual Pass holders at Disney. There are 3 locations we eat at almost every morning in Lake Buena Vista. We came here for 1st time. Location is one of the smallest that I have ever dined at. There placing to many customers in such a small area to begin with. Servers were nice. Food took a while to come out which I don't mind until we got it. Both orders of Pumkin Parcakes were cold as were the sausage patties. They were a little burnt on the other side. Daughter didn't like her sweet potato hash that much as well. You can never go wrong with the million dollar bacon. The waitress apologized for the cold food and offered an appetizer in the house. Daughter wanted another order of bacon. She charged us for it. I didn't want to argue, as I briefly mentioned to the manager of the issues as well. He didn't offer anything as well. Very let down by the way they run this location, compared to the ones in Oralndo. Not coming back read more

Im a regular! We come here at least 3xs a week or more. Let me just start off with their hot coffee.. something about the coffee roast that is so addicting. I'll come here just for the coffee. They give you a pitcher of hot coffee with a side of creamers and sugars. We usually order the avocado toast with no egg but instead a side of house fries/potatoes. It delicious they add a slice of lemon to the top of the chunky avocado toast. Thick-cut whole grain artisan toast, fresh smashed avocado, EVOO, lemon, and Maldon sea salt. We also order the AM Superfoods Bowl which includes Coconut milk chia seed pudding, fresh bananas and berries, mixed berry compote, house made granola with almonds and our whole grain artisan toast with almond butter and Maldon sea salt. The restaurant was super clean, including the bathrooms, and the food was just amazing. Everything was so delicious and incredibly affordable. First Watch is the perfect spot if you're looking for a healthy alternative without breaking the bank. You can get a fantastic meal for under $20, which is rare these days! 8/7/21 - Visited for breakfast and ordered the simplest platter in the menu: *Scrambled eggs w/ ham, potatoes and wheat toast *Scrambled eggs w/ turkey, fruits and wheat toast What actually came to the table was the opposite, totally wrong. Told the server who brought the food that the order was wrong and she just walked away. She came back a few minutes later and brings the ham but no turkey or fruit. Takes my plate away while my partner is eating and comes back five minutes later with the correct dish and the bill. Telling us "no rush" On top of all of this my turkey was cold. Needless to say, we will not be returning. If they can't get the simplest item in the menu right I can't imagine a complex order. read more

While I do love First Watch daytime cafe and its healthy-ish breakfast/brunch, this location has changed recently. The food takes much longer to come out.. about 40-45 minutes after ordering and it's not like it was jam packed in here. Not sure what the holdup is. Also, most of the servers look newer and unrecognizable. Also, I finally got to try their Acai Bowl from their Seasonal Menu. It has plenty of fruits, but the Acai was way too sweet. Terrible management. They were busy and its understandable if it takes longer but took over 1 hr to get the food. When approaching the manager he just told us how long the ticker had been and didn't offer anything until we asked. Food came out at different times and no real apologies at the end nor even a small discount. Server was lost. , but again goes back to management. Terrible service! We were placed at a table at the back corner of the restaurant. We waited forever for someone to take our drinks order. He never came back to take our dinner order and when finally happened, the food never came. Can't tell you how dinner was.....we never got any. Happy Valentine's Day! Straight away they had us sat down and gave great service even though they were basically full to capacity. The Traditional breakfast and french toast were really good and delicious.
