In this day and time with the constraints on food delivery due to Covid-19, we have often learned sometimes to accept very poor customer service. I was very pleasantly surprised today to find a gem that serves both breakfast and lunch in Hollywood, Fl. I was cared for like a Queen from the moment I walked through the door and this was at noon. But don't take any chances and reserve a table by phone or on their website. And don't worry if you don't live in Hollywood. I live in Fort Lauderdale and the construction and traffic are so heavy in northern Broward County that it actually was faster to get down here. And there are so many shops and other way cool places so I definitely will be back. Let's start with the Covid compliance which they are. All the tables are properly spaced and all employees wore masks. Only one person checks people out and handles cash and he was wearing heavy gloves. Plexiglass was at the checkout counter. Plenty of signs for customers to wear their mask. This is a conscientious employer. He or she cares for their staff and the customers. They were super friendly to me from the start even though I didn't have a reservation. The food here is phenomenal. There are so many choices; I could eat here a couple weeks and not eat the same thing twice. And if I did, I wouldn't care. The cuisine ranges from extremely healthy vitamin packed, low calorie food to down home favorites like pancakes and omelettes filled with all kinds of good things I started with a delicious hot organic English Breakfast tea. My delightful server brought me an assortment of tea along with a cute little teapot. I enjoyed a tasty Hybiscus tea after my meal. My lunch was a soup and sandwich combo. The tomato basil soup was hot. It's not necessarily my favorite soup so I will try a different one next time. The roast beef and havarti cheese sandwich was incredible. Everything about this sandwich screamed fresh. This is a tasty non-chain restaurant that everyone should try when you're in Hollywood. read more

When we arrived 10 min later, it was another 10 min wait - so online waitlist is the move. Service was great, but food was mediocre. Our cocktails were $8, so not much by way of alcohol. Pre-mixed ice coffee was good. My omlette had avocado that needed 2 more days to ripen and hardly any meat. The eggs on my friend's benedict were barely cooked, I wouldn't even qualify them as over-easy. The donut holes we got to share were cold. Didn't finish by food. read more

My first time at any First Watch restaurant was underwhelming. I enjoyed my potato hash meal but there was 3-4 small slices of bacon and it was overloaded with potatoes. For the pricing, I would expect more equal ingredients as you can only eat so many potatoes.. The beet juice that my boyfriend ordered was amazing - highly recommend. tasted so fresh and full of flavor. My fresh squeezed orange juice was okay but it did not taste that fresh, maybe it was the type of oranges they used but it was not as sweet orange as one would expect. My boyfriend enjoyed his meal of biscuits and gravy. They give you a lot of food , big portions. Use the app to get in the virtual wait line so you do not have to wait a long time while at the restaurant. This is especially useful during these times as there was no social distancing outside while waiting on the benches. Our server was overly attentive and it felt like they wanted us in and out quickly. I get that it's a breakfast place but I do not like feeling rushed while eating especially first thing in the morning. Conveniently located off of a main road. Stopped for breakfast with my fiancé. We each ordered an omelet. This was one of the best omelets we have ever had, anywhere. She had the chorizo one, and mine was avocado, bacon, and cheese. I had greens and she had potatoes. We both had buttered toast. The portions were the right size. All the food tasted very fresh, it was cooked perfectly and it was all seasoned very well. Service was attentive and friendly. The review is tardy, nonetheless I did want to record the experience. From the beginning you could tell things were going to drag on time. The hostess was slow to seat with only a quarter of the dining room occupied. The waitress was slow to get drinks and ultimately food was slow to hit the table with again slow action to refill drinks. The food we all had with an assortment of brunch menu items was good. I haven't been here in a long time. This restaurant has so many healthy options and that is the reason I sadly rarely come in lol This is a beautifully spacious, open restaurant. It always looks so clean. The service is always friendly and warm. Today I tried the Truffle Tushrooms Hash. It had eggs, cheese, glorious bacon, potatoes, mushrooms and other things. The sent that was coming from this dish was alluring. It truly smelled good. Even the people in front of me commented on it . Visually it looked green, healthy. It has slow cooked pork, fresh beans, avocado and more. I could have done without the corn bread but I mixed it with my meal and it was tasty. My wife got the omelette and we shared a side of million dollar bacon. The bacon was tasty but a little too peppery for me. The star of of the show was the fresh juice I got. My review is for First Watch in Hollywood. Its the location by target by hollywood blvd and park road. I have been to this location twice. The wait time is usually 15 to 25 minutes, not bad. The food is extremely fresh and healthy and large healthy portion. I enunciate healthy twice because if I am going to have a large American portion, I would rather it be healthy. The first time I was there the server was excellent and attentive and gave me samples of the health drinks, since I had never tried them before. I have tried the french toast here, the egg sandwich, potatoes. The food is very very good. Prices are kinda high but worth the portion size and quality. The only reason I do not give 5 stars is because the service is a hit or miss. The staff can be condescending, unavailable, no smiles and other times they knock it out of the park! Thank God the chefs/kitchen crew do not have the same attitude with the food. This place is a chain and they are not open after 3 which would be great for parents and teens looking for a side gig. First time visiting went on Tuesday 8/22/23. My son seemed to enjoy the traditional breakfast. I ordered eggs Benedict, which is my go-to meal... theirs was the worst I've ever had. Unfortunately, the eggs were not cooked, I believe Benedict usually has poached eggs or so but they weren't even cooked over easy! The whites were raw and runny I couldn't tell at first because of sauce/layers but when I took a bite and looked I realized the whites were raw and gelatinous! so gross it tasted so off and really ruined my appetite. I expected more considering how pricey they are. The potatoes were subpar, too salty. The server didn't stop or check with us until we were past being done and she was picking up our plates. I just hope I will still be able to enjoy an eggs Benedict again elsewhere. read more

I first discovered First Watch late in 2019 and was immediately upset at myself for not being in the know earlier! First Watch has been one of my consistent go to breakfast/brunch spots for healthy breakfast food and a warm welcoming dining experience. They have a ever changing seasonal specials menu, but with one item that seems will never vacate the top spot; and that is the Million Dollar Bacon. A simple yet delicious side that consists of four thick hardwood smoked bacon slices baked with brown sugar, black pepper, cayenne and a maple syrup drizzle. Anyone that comes with me already knows that I'm ordering one for the table. Next, I ordered my usual, an Inspired Italian omelet; comprised of Italian sausage, house-roasted tomatoes and red peppers with fresh herbs, Mozzarella, Parmesan cheese and a side of artisan toast. This dish is accompanied by a side of your choosing of either house greens, potatoes or fruit. I'd recommend going with their potatoes or fruit. On a side note, their artisan toast is AMAZING and usually comes with every dish, but if not make sure you order a side of toast with their jelly, you wont regret it. The only thing I can think of that I'd like to see is them serve mimosas and bloody marys on Sunday, but regardless First Watch is perfect. read more

My parents & I went here for breakfast this morning, my first time. There was no wait & I plenty of seating. The place is very vibrant & upbeat. All the employees are very friendly. I Love the many choices & varieties in the menu. I ordered the Frittata Omelette it was absolutely incredible, the ingredients in were so incredibly perfect for it. Total Italian Style. The potatoes were so tasty & the grain bread was so fresh. Our server Lacey was an absolute doll, very sweet as well as all the employees on shift. Everyone works very well together. Definitely a team concept is in place. My parents both got the blueberry pancakes they were so huge!!! & so tasty. Was not a loss for any blueberries. Fresh Coffee on the table nice touch. We came here on Saturday morning and the wait for 2 people was around 15min. We had tri-fecta breakfast and The Works omelette. My waffle was super light and crispy and my scrambled eggs were soft. The bacon was low sodium and cooked well. The Works Omelette was delicious and everything was seasoned well. The extra touch was the basket on the table with all the condiments and coffee right in front of us. There was no need to ask for anything else. Even though it was packed and busy, our server Gerald, was attentive, pleasant, and professional. Normally I got to the First Watch in Dania pointe and I always enjoy my meal and service, but unfortunately this day I decided to try the Hollywood location since it is closer to my home, to say the least, I WILL NEVER GO BACK. The wait was 50 minutes, and we waited 65 to start, after being seated we waited another 20 minutes before a server even approached our table. After ordering drinks and food, we waited 35 minutes for food. Now with the place being extremely busy, we gave them the benefit of the doubt. We ordered 3 meals.. 2 of the 3 were wrong, and all 3 were cold. 1- Farmhouse skillet no tomatoes add zucchini, eggs over medium ; it came with tomatoes and one egg over medium, the second egg was well done and agin all of it was cold. 2- Avocado Toast eggs over easy; the eggs were both WELL done, infact inedible, and again, cold. 3- Elevated egg sand which; correct but cold. With the waitress returning to our table not to check on us but just to drop off the check I went to the front and requested a manager. The host was very nice and immediately went for a manager, came back and said he's cooking in the kitchen and will be out in a few minutes. After waiting 10 minutes the front desk employee apologized and took care of it herself with her employee discount. She is the ONLY reason I gave 2 stars and not one. This is the most unorganized and impolite location I have been to! If your looking for a First Watch, find another one! read more

We are not from the area so we decided to try a new breakfast spot while in town. First Watch is like a healthy ihop. It has all the breakfast menus items that you would expect along with healthy options such as avocado toast and Açaí bowls. Our server was very nice. We were curious about the watermelon juice and she bought us samples before we ordered it which isn't normal. The watermelon juice was very good. The waffle and French toast were okay...very healthy tasting and not heavy. Definitely go there if you don't want to feel guilty. The eggs and bacon were fine.
