I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at this establishment. I spent my hard-earned money on a tuna melt that was roughly $12-$13, only to receive an incomplete order. When I arrived to pick up my food, I was kept waiting while the waitress was difficult to deal with and continued talking over me on the phone. Despite the experience, I was still asked if I wanted to leave a tip, and unfortunately, I obliged. After getting to work, I realized the order was missing the fries that were supposed to be included. I contacted the establishment expecting a simple resolution, but the owner refused to address the issue or even speak with me. I am now outside of the area and was essentially told to accept being charged for food I never received. Mistakes happen, but how a business handles those mistakes says a lot. I paid for a complete meal and expected to receive what I ordered. Instead, I was left feeling dismissed and taken advantage of. Based on this experience, I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this establishment. The customer service and the way this situation was handled were extremely disappointing. read more

He recently added some new items on the menu.One of them is Cuban sandwich, which is my all time favorite growing up as a kid and is made to its authenticity. Typically I don't have any issue eating here but today I found what looked like hair in my grits. The server explained that it looked like hair from the brush they use in the kitchen to add butter when preparing the meals. I shared it with the hostess who offered a new bowl of grits, but once I found "something" in my food, my appetite was gone and I was ready to leave. I asked if anything could be taken off the bill but she stated there wasn't much food left on my plate......................... And then offered to make the omelette again alongside the grits offered. I just paid the full bill, took the food and left. I'm not sure that was the best way to respond to anything other than food being on my plate. However, know that this is the treatment you can expect at this establishment. The server was excellent but the establishment earned a side eye. *Side note: Double check your receipt. I ordered a Bacon omelette minus the sausage at $11.99 but somehow the item rung up was $2 more.... I think I'm done here. read more

Classic Americana. Had not been to a proper diner in ages. The Homestyle Fries were phenomenal! The freshly squeezed OJ, perfection. I had the tomato feta omelette, while my husband had the Texas French Toast 2 Eggs Bacon & Sausage. Service was prompt, and friendly. I loved the 50-60s playlist, and the overall feel of the place. Is it the most elegant spot? No. But it is the neighborhood spot where the waitresses know their regulars' name and order, and that is something most spots simply don't have. read more

I just received my order from Uber eats. on the plus side, fairly quick, packaged well and good portions. but food quality really poor. this was my first order with them. I normally add salt to my food but the corned beef hash had so much salt, after one taste, couldn't eat anymore. the Caesar salad chopped up and had been sitting in dressing too long, a soggy mess, the spinach pie reheated too many times and burned on the bottom and soupy inside. what a disappointment. Shortly after eating my stomach didn't except what I was eating as food. Waffle had a strange taste, potatoes not even lightly salted, same with the eggs. Ok so we have eaten here like 4 times. This is about the only place you can find a hot open faced turkey sandwich. Well the first time we thought wow that gravy is pretty salty, but we though let's give a couple more tries. Well today was the last straw. It was so salty my son would not even eat his. I told him mine was salty but I was too hungry to care. When we left I told the owner/manager we would not be back that the food was too salty. He said when you come back again let him know. I told him we would never come back again. He really didn't respond very well. It's too expensive to eat out and not enjoy your meal. What a shame if someone would actually care this could be a great place to eat. They need to do some quality control and make some changes or they will out of business soon.
