The two girls in the front were very snarky when we asked if we were still on the list. She rolled their eyes and said to the other girl, "you hear that, Kailey wants to know if she's still on the list." They giggled to each other and rudely told her to keep waiting. Then over 45 minutes for our food to come out which was cold and the Hollandaise sauce tasted like lemon pledge. The waitress Ally was snarky and condescending and she didn't check on us once in the entire hour+ we were there. Not 1 water refill. The manager forgot to bring our boxes and we found a hair under the quesadilla as we left. Probably the worst dining experience we've ever had. Sadly disappointed with our experience today. Greatly prefer the one located on University. Online "hold my place in line" said 20-30 minutes. When we arrived 20 minutes later, they said it would be another 20 minutes. That aside, we waited 50 minutes from the time we ordered to when food arrived, and waitress didn't return even once during those 50 minutes. Never refilled our water, which was out quickly, never apologized for the wait. Even when she brought our food, there was no acknowledgement of the inconvenience. The host told us that it had been so bad there, that she's transferring to another location. No sign of management at all. Food was "ok", which is why I didn't give 1 star. I was reluctant to try this place because it has been a few different restaurants in the past. However, at 8am on a Sunday morning, the biscuits and gravy did not disappoint. The inside decor is friendly and they have so many people staffed that the service is perfect. We also indulged in an early morning cocktail and I'm still thinking about it. We waited for 40 minutes to receive our food after ordering(the restaurant was not busy what-so-ever . The hollandaise contained obscene amounts of lemon juice making it incredibly difficult to eat the meal. I didn't even finish my meal. Our waitress and the rest of the staff was super nice and polite but doesn't change that it took forty minutes to cook some eggs and extra lemony hollandaise. Good food and service but the wadsworth location was so noisy it was almost impossible to carry on a conversation. High ceiling to a metal roof meant lots of reflected sound. Last time we visited for breakfast, the food was truly awful. My husband's eggs, which were supposed to be over medium, were over very hard (hard as rocks), and my scrambled eggs were way over cooked (to the point of being deeply browned on the bottom). The breakfast potatoes were undercooked and my husband received the wrong kind of bread as his toast. Perhaps their chef was out sick--but neither of us were able to eat most of the food on our plates. By the time the waitress stopped by to check, there was no real opportunity to fix the problems. Our many visits to this restaurant in the past were quite different and the food had always be very good. If I could leave a negative rating I would. Our party of 9 came in at 10:00 am and not only were we forgotten about multiple times but they sat two other large parties before us. When asked how much longer they would just push the time further and further. It is now 12 and they finally decided we could be seated. This is when they decided to tell us that the kitchen wait time was at least 50 minutes. If they had informed us of that when we ask what both wait times were then we would have immediately left. We live close by and today was our first time at First Watch. They give you a pot of their specialty coffee to start. It was your typical brunch kind of menu with a few unique items, such as a lemon ricotta pancakes (yummy!). Our meals were served quickly. The food was very fresh with that made from scratch appeal. Things such as the whipped butter, strawberry jam, and the sour cream had a high quality about them. The server and hosts were very friendly too. They have mimosas too. Great food and friendly service but the service is BERY slow and seems disorganized. We arrived this morning (yes it's Father's Day but it's always like this on the weekends here) and they didn't let us know when it was time for us, I had to check in 3 times with them, and we let them know our party was now for 4, not 6 as originally intended, but they didn't write that down or make that change. The 3rd time I asked about our waitlist (we'd been waiting at least an hour after they told us 20 minutes) they said they could seat us right then. We're now still sitting here 45 minutes after ordering and still no visit from our waitress, let alone any food at all. Love our local HR First Watch. We've (our Breakfast Club) been coming regularly every 2 weeks for almost two years and always have a great experience. During Covid they were very conscientious about masks and cleanliness. We ask for the the same waitperson, Christine, and are always very happy with her service. She knows our standard orders and is always smiling. It's a friendly atmosphere and we usually see someone we know there. The food is always really good, no matter what we try. 5 Stars! read more
