Delicious as always. Great service even when they're busy. Outside patio is great and shaded. Great addition to proper.

Chimichurri Steak & Eggs Hash

Was seated right away, service was friendly and the food was great! Steak was a little chewy for my liking but all an all very good! I would love to come back!

Restaurant was clean and appealing with a great staff. Had the Works omelette and it was excellent. My waitress, Maria, was extremely nice and very attentive! Very good experience!

Our latest visit included the sausage gravy and biscuits and the Chickichanga. For a Wednesday morning, we were surprised to see so many customers at 8:45 am. Even with such a full room, the noise level was fine and we could hold a conversation with no issues.

Hands down the Best breakfast to get your day going. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself is clean, welcoming and friendly.

I have eaten here a few times, but writing my first review. I choose their limited time menu item SoCal Breakfast Hash. I loved this item. It was very good. I would have it again. The server was very nice. The restaurant is very inviting. I feel like I am eating at home with family.

The server was really nice. Food was really good, little bit expensive but still very yummy. The outside was in a patio, very cute.

1/2 Sandwich & Soup with Monterey Club & Broccoli and Cheese Soup

The food and atmosphere were great! We didn't wait long at all for our table, but the service was slow. Our food came out super fast but it took a while to get a waitress, our drinks, and the checks. We weren't in a rush so wasn't a huge deal.

Chickichanga

Well decorated and great service, but the food was a little underwhelming. The Chickichanga is the way to go if you don't mind a bit of spice! Whereas the Elevated Egg Sandwich was the opposite: I had to doctor it up with some salt and pepper because it lacked any seasoning at all. But overall it was good with a fresh avocado and perfectly cooked bacon. The breakfast potatoes were a bit too thick for me, but might be perfect for someone else. The half inch slices were excellent with some ketchup. My biggest complaint was paying $4 for some of the most acidic coffee I've ever tried, with basic creamer cups. If they elevated their creamer game and charged me just for a cup instead of a whole pot that would add a star. There was some trash under our table but overall had a pleasant experience. Our waitress Stephanie was phenomenal, she took great care of us!!

Overpriced, nice farm to table concept but very bland. Coffee was also very bitter. Staff was not super helpful.

We like to sit at the oyster bar and talk to the shocker. Donald was our guy and service was great. I always recommend this place.

5/10/2026: Grand Marlin is top-notch!…read more We had an incredible experience here on May 10th. Our server, Brittany, gave excellent service and was incredibly accommodating. Since the three of us in our group aren't big eaters, we asked to split a portion of everything we ordered, and she didn't blink an eye. We started with the BBQ shrimp, which was fantastic! It's not a heavy, traditional BBQ flavor--it's more of a rich, New Orleans-style sauce. With six shrimp total, it was perfect for splitting, especially with the delicious bread served alongside it to soak up that amazing sauce. Nom!! Two of us split the wedge salad, and Brittany happily accommodated our special request for ranch instead of blue cheese. Our other friend had the kale salad and thoroughly enjoyed it. For the main course, the three of us split the filet mignon, which came with a dollop of mashed potatoes. The char on the steak was absolutely fabulous, and the potatoes paired with it perfectly! The restaurant is fairly dark and can get a bit noisy on busy nights, but we enjoyed our time immensely. Grand Marlin has private rooms and is easily the most high-end restaurant on Pensacola Beach. Our total was $178.00 before tip, which is well worth it. The attire ranges anywhere from dressy to beach casual, they have several great seating options for special occasions, and there's even a gift shop with some great finds. For anyone who remembers, this used to be the Boy on a Dolphin years ago. As an honorary Pensacolian since 1975, I consider myself a bit of an expert on all things Pensacola Beach--and you won't be disappointed here! Pro tip: Get a group photo by the bay before leaving. Even at night, it shows off those perfect Pensacola views.
