My husband & I arrived right at lunch. It was nice & quiet inside. The restaurant was clean. It's an awesome Waffle House to chill at. I always enjoy Waffle House it's one of my favorites. Robert was awesome making sure we got all our food exactly as ordered and it was hot & delicious. I gobbled everything up it's so yummy.

Every seat was taken. Timing was good as they were just cleaning up a booth. Met here for a short business meeting. Robert kept our coffee cups full with steaming hot, fresh coffee. He was very attentive, and conscientious not to interrupt the conversations. We were communicating with smiles and sign language....lol Afterwards we decided to stay and get a little breakfast. It's served here all day long. Rogan took over our booth. Very pleasant and personable. Sharp young man looking to tackle the world. Very refreshing to listen to someone so young with a direction into the future. The food is cooked to order. Fresh and filling..... Sausage, egg, cheese and hashbrown bowl. Texas bacon and cheese melt with hashbrowns ( just like a grilled cheese with bacon) I loved it ! I haven't been in a Waffle House in years.. .still good for breakfast, any time breakfast....next time waffles for sure.....

This is our Waffle House. We waffle around here. Kinda like lurk, but more like Fanny about, mostly like we happily mosey in & stuff our pie holes :)' This Waffle House Rocks. Kinda like bc the staff rocks, but the jute box does also. Mostly the food Rocks, like always bc the service does, the staff does & the jute box does also, but mostly bc nobody rocks this place like we do! Haha. So much fun! You want some rocking Waffle House brekkie? This place Rocks like no other. This Waffle House will rock your socks off! The staff here know the secret menu. And that ROCKS. They will even show it to you. They will customize your brekkie anyway you like. Just ask & pay for the add on's. You want the best crispy hash browns you ever had in your life? Maybe add some cheese, ham, onion, chili, jalapeños or all of the above etc., You want grilled pork chops & sausage with tomatoes as a side with your waffle and Texas Toast? Arrrrr! LOL Or Maybe a T-Bone with your eggs & waffle with blueberries, peanut butter or chocolate chips? You got it! No problemo. The "Kid Rock" night Chef Rocks! Arrrrr! The staff rocks. The food rocks. The music rocks. The service rocks. This waffle house is Rock Solid Gold. That's why it's our #1 choice. Rock on over! This place is legend :)... Queen of Pirate'cola approved! XOXO

Thank you for feeding us during the snow storm! We appreciate your emergency menu and working so har

This is my 4th visit to this Waffle House. I love these "old timey" cafe type places. The staff is friendly and I enjoyed chatting with them. I got the All-Star Special, with the biscuit and Hashbrowns (with sausage gravy) and the sausage patties. Just like twice before (the first visit I also made an entry for). All of my visits have been at dinner time, so why get a killer breakfast meal??? Because it is a great, filling meal, for a wonderful price! I won't be in town for much longer, but I'll be back at least once a week while I'm here!

Wow! Without a doubt, this Waffle House has given me the best service I've ever received at a restaurant in my life. We came for a quick breakfast on our way to Ft Myers and I am so glad that we did. We were greeted by smiling faces and sat at a nice clean table. We were shortly after tended to, we got our drinks and orders quickly. I got the All American, which was delicious. The bread and jelly was fresh and soft, the waffles themselves were absolutely delicious, and the cheesy hash browns were some of the best I've ever had. However, my absolute favorite part of this trip by far was Barbara, the very friendly district vice president. She came to our table to make sure we were are alright and started a conversation. We had a very nice talk about how she got to this restaurant, her family, and how long she's been working here. She was incredibly nice, and a pleasure to talk to and be with. She left our table after and went to another, making sure everybody was having the best time possible. She was absolutely wonderful, and I suggest with all my heart that you go to this Waffle House! From incredible service to delicious food, this Waffle House is one of the, if not the best Waffle Houses in Florida. If you want to have a great breakfast, then I'm telling you, please come to this Waffle House!

But that's not what this is about: this cozy corner spot surprised us in the best way. My biker buddy, "Secret Squirrel ~ Filter," had the Reuben and declared it one of his top five--looked and tasted fantastic. As for me (Rider name "1/2 Time") had the Steak and Cheese Benedict: two English muffin halves topped with seasoned steak strips, sautéed bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, pepper jack, two poached eggs, hollandaise, paprika, and herbs--it was delicious and fairly priced. They don't serve alcohol, so I missed a Screwdriver, but the iced tea was surprisingly good (and that's not always easy to pull off). Service was prompt and friendly. The cashier stood out--huge smile and wonderful attitude; I wish I'd gotten her name. Fun moment: she mentioned her dad was Navy and joked about names he told her for us Marines--Reply was yup us to we mostly called them Squids. But when push came to shove we always stood together. One Team One Fight! If you get a chance stop in and when you do tell them a Old marine on Yelp called "1/2 Time" told you. We don't get anything, but they will know that I was true to my word and did leave a review.

We arrived around 10:30 on a Wednesday morning and we were wrong to think that the place would be empty after an early breakfast rush. We were seating upon entering by Brooke who also was our server. The menu is varied and we found out that you can order anything at anytime. We had ordered the Spicy Pulled Pork omelette and Shrimp and Grits. Next time, we're thinking a Grouper sandwich as they were being enjoyed at two tables next to us and looked delicious. Our breakfast entrees arrived quickly. The omelette came with a choice of side and I chose the potatoes. They were seasoned but a bit cold and hard. Brooke offered to swap them out when checking on us, but by that time, I was filling up from the large packed omelette. It was filled with pork, peppers, onions and cheese with more spicy, sweet pork on top. I wish the entrees came with toast. The shrimp and grits were served over gouda grits as requested and the dish was spicy and filling. Definitely one of the best we tried in a while. Drinks were refilled promptly and Brooke took care of her guests quickly and with a smile.

I didn't care for the flavor in the shrimp batter and the fries were heavy coated with pepper. I generally like pepper, but it was a bit much. The grilled pork chop wasn't bad. The establishment is so nice and the decor is very relaxing. The host greeted us immediately and gave us some nice compliments also. We were escorted to our seats and server Tatum was there waiting. She introduced herself and told us a little about the restaurant and what they specialize in. She told us about the specials and took our drink order. We ordered the savory bread pudding Benedict and the Bonita's lobster roll both came with hand cut Parmesan truffle fries. Let's start with the bread pudding. Wow, isn't your ordinary bread pudding. If you don't like bread pudding, you will love this one! It starts with a special type bread they make and thick cut bacon is baked all through it. Then it's topped with a poached egg with a special hollandaise sauce. Every bite was full of flavor and I hate I ate it so fast. The lobster roll was so tender and buttery. The roll was fresh a little toasty just enough for a little crunch when you bite. The fries, I never had hand cut fries that taste so good. The fresh Parmesan cheese and truffle oil took them over the top. They really take time to pay attention to detail. If you haven't eaten here yet, you must put this one high on your list. I'm looking forward to my next review!!!!

From…read morethe moment we walked in, the vibe was welcoming and upscale-casual, with great energy but not stuffy at all. We started with the ricotta fig and pear appetizer, and oh my goodness, it was incredible--creamy, sweet, tangy, and perfectly balanced. Such a fresh and creative dish! For mains, my partner had the chili citrus glazed duck, and it was cooked to perfection: crispy skin, juicy meat, and that glaze brought such bright, zesty flavors that paired beautifully with the sides. I went with the cobia almondine, and it was one of the best fish dishes I've had--perfectly seared, flaky, with the brown butter, almonds, and charred lemon elevating every bite. The cauliflower purée underneath was silky and delicious. We couldn't stop at just dinner--we shared a few desserts (the variety was tempting!), and everything was spot-on: rich, not too sweet, and beautifully presented. The service was truly amazing--our server was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made great recommendations without being pushy. They really made us feel taken care of. If you're looking for elevated, ingredient-driven food with Southern-meets-French flair in Pensacola, George Bistro is a must-try. We'll definitely be back soon--maybe for brunch next time! Highly recommend--5 stars all the way!
