Chocolate chip pancake
Justin R.

Had a really enjoyable brunch at First Watch. The food was flavorful, thoughtfully composed, and generously portioned. The Chimichurri Steak and Eggs Hash was the standout. The steak was tender, the eggs were cooked just right, and the chimichurri brought a fresh, herby brightness that balanced the richness of the dish. The feta added a nice salty finish that pulled everything together. If I had one small note, the potatoes could have been cooked a little more for a crisper texture, but it didn't take away from the flavor of the dish at all. The overall taste was still very strong, and the components worked really well together. The pancake was another highlight. Huge, fluffy, and beautifully browned, with chocolate chips throughout and just enough sweetness to make it feel indulgent without going overboard. Simple, classic, and very well done. Service made the experience even better. Bria was personable, attentive, and genuinely pleasant throughout the meal. She kept everything moving smoothly and added to the welcoming feel of the visit. Overall, a very solid brunch experience with flavorful food, strong portions, and great service. I'd absolutely come back, and I'd order the Chimichurri Steak and Eggs Hash again.

Due to the great service and immaculate food, the wait was around 25 minutes to be seated but WELL WORTH THE WAIT!!!! Wonderful space to come and have breakfast or lunch even with the crowds, was a nice atmosphere. Food was served at optimal temperatures and the only mishap was one of the drinks were not made correctly the first time but they remedied the situation. Definitely will visit again on my next visit to Maryland!

Watermelon Wake-Up spiked

We dined here for brunch and this place never ceases to amaze. Every time I eat here there is always something new on the menu. Today I tried the Barbacoa Chilaquiles Breakfast bowl and a spiked watermelon wake up juice. It was divine and the service was amazing. Although there isn't much in terms of ambiance , the restaurant is always lively and you're never disappointed. I'd recommend this spot 1001 times. I can't wait to go back b

I wish I could give it a negative 5. I ordered an "extra crispy" waffle and potatoes. Easy, right??? Think again. They brought me a waffle with eggs and sausage on the plate...sent back. Came back really quickly with another waffle and of course, it's not extra crispy. Server said they took it from another plate!!! WTH??? Anyway, I looked to my right to see them giving a guy next to me the plate with a waffle, eggs and sausage!! WRONG!!! As this is happening, I start my potatoes, which were like warm. My partner's bacon was under-cooked so he sent that back when they took the first waffle...asked that they continue cooking it. Back to the second waffle...first, I'm not going to eat a waffle you took off another plate. Second, it was not cooked per my request. As I was explaining this to the server, that heffa walked away. So, of course, we asked for the manager. As my partner and I continued with the potatoes, at the bottom was a piece of pork bacon!!! What in all the FCK!!! I don't eat meat and I ESPECIALLY wouldn't eat pork!!! So now I'm thinking they took potatoes from somebody's plate as well...like effing leftovers!!! The dumb azz manager looked confused after we explained this fiasco and just stood there and finally apologized. My guy said, "we're leaving", at which point the manager said ok. This place is an entire clown outfit. What if Ihad allergies to something in pork??? We will NEVER go back...just horrible.

The Tri-Fecta with French toast and bacon

I was craving a waffle and this First Watch makes the BEST ones. Their waffles are light and crispy on the edges but so soft inside. Today was no different. We ordered two trifecta breakfasts which included your choice of meat, two eggs, and your choice of a waffle, French toast, or multi-grain pancake. I had turkey links, scrambled eggs, and a waffle. My wife had bacon, eggs with cheese, and French toast. Everything was delicious! Angel was our server and she was beyond exceptional. She provided fast and friendly service which is hard to find nowadays. It is always busy and bustling when we enter First Watch. The restaurant is clean and the decor fits the the of the restaurant perfectly.

Shrimp & Grits

Worst First Watch experience! I've visited several First Watch locations and this is by far the worst one. From the wait time to the hosts to the servers. We were quoted a 30-50 minute wait time which we understand given it was the Saturday before Father's Day but the hosts didn't do a good job of seating people as tables cleared up. When we were finally seated, our server took nearly 10 minutes to greet us and when she did she said she would be back in 5 minutes. That made no sense given she didn't have anything on her tray. She could have at least taken our drink orders. I guess another server could sense our frustration so he came and asked if he could place our orders. We really appreciated this and were able to order our drinks and food. Our original server never came back to check on us or say a word. As far as the food goes, I got the shrimp & grits which was a huge portion and pretty flavorful. I also appreciated that they substituted the andouille sausage for chicken sausage since I don't eat pork. My one issue is that the onions were not cut up. There were huge ringlets in it. My dad got the market hash which he enjoyed but it's pretty hard to get wrong. For drinks, the mint iced coffee was delicious but there was more ice than actual drink. They should tone down the ice so people get more of what they're paying for. I did the pomegranate sunrise which was much sweeter than I thought it would be. In terms of the actual restaurant, it's one of the smaller First Watch locations and it doesn't have a bar. There are a ton of large booths for large parties but they were seating parties of 2 at some of them. Overall, I don't plan to visit this location again.

Always a true winner at everything they do and they do it very well! The Holiday Menu features some items that relish in Cheesecake, Cinnamon, Lavender and Cane Sugar. The customer service is top notch and depending on location and time of day, you are never going to want for much, meaning I needed some syrup and as soon as I look up there it was. Warm and thick.

First Watch Fall Menu

We stopped in for a quick bite. I ordered the Club and the way it was worded I was led to believe the bacon was turkey bacon versus pork bacon....not. Explained the situation and a new sandwich was quickly brought to the table. I was impressed, the server left the original sandwich on the table...so I knew the sandwich was freshly made. The service was excellent t and the ambiance was low key Sunday family oriented.

Pumpkin Pancake Breakfast

Went here before going to the movies and loved their fall menu. Got the pumpkin spiced pancakes, chicken sausage, eggs and the sunrise drink with alcohol in it that my friend and I could split. Everything was delicious and the service was great.

Not our first time at First Watch, but first time here at the Bowie location. No one likes a wait but it was suitable enough. Took about an hour for a table but service was quick and good. Food was great. Pancakes are always a great size. I think I am a strong eggs critic but the eggs were okay. Ambiance was cool. Lost my shades! :( Overall, First Watch always is good food with family feels. 8/10 Food-8/10 Service- 8/10 Ambiance- 10/10

Mark R.

The food was good. It was breakfast however the food for my wife which was French toast was late to the table. It came after my Granddaughter finished her waffles. That needs to be fixed. That was poor. The hostess and wait service was good as well. Ambiance was good too. We waited about 20 minutes for a table for three. The problem here is that your system is broke. There were several tables open and over 20 others folks waiting. It appeared that there was no method for clearing tables other than the waitress's. Also there was one person sitting at a 6 booth who was finished and sitting there for 2.5 hours according to the manager in training I spoke with. She stated that there is NO policy of how long a customer can sit at a table. No worries though as I will not be back. The food and wait staff is the only reason for 3 stars. You all need to get a system that works. And we are not talking computer system talking about a system to keep your customers moving so it doesn't create inefficiency. As I witness today. There was only 3 of us. Hope you can work it out. I was hoping better.

We eventually got seated and our server was very attentive and friendly. We ordered drinks of Bellini, Mimosa, and Lavender Lychee cocktail. They were all quite good, especially the Lavender Lychee cocktail. Complimentary cornbread was provided which was warm and really good. For food, we shared the Holler Hot Honey Brussels. It was sweet but really tasty. As my main dish, I chose the Pan Seared Rockfish which I really enjoyed and was seared well. Everyone else also liked their main dishes. We also ended up getting the Maple Bourbon Creme Brûlée for dessert which was really good. Such a great spot to go to for good food and drinks!

I've dined at all three and never have had horrible service nor an overall experience. At the Farmhouse, we tried the crab deviled eggs, ribeye, and rockfish. The crab deviled eggs were good -- standard; nothing memorable, but good. I would get it again. The ribeye, paired with string beans and a cucumber salad (swapped out the potatoes), was really good! The ribeye, cooked medium, was J U I C Y...see the pic for yourself. Moist, right texture and seasoned well. The rockfish was good. My only gripe with this dish is that the description said rice "pilaf" would accompany the dish. I've never been to culinary school, but I am somewhat of a "foodie." Rice pilaf is typically well-seasoned in a flavored broth. This rice? Straight up white rice. Total fail. Trying to watch my waist line is another thing, so I didn't eat this PLAIN, white rice. However, the lima bean succotash with the street butter corn were great! Lastly, two more notes -- I love "farm to table" restaurants. If you follow me, you know I'm into all things "relatively" healthy; so, kudos to Titan Hospitality Group wanting to be the healthy change we need! Secondly, our server, Jada...she was great. The name, "Jada," is special to me in more ways than one, so maybe I'm biased. But, honestly, Jada was great. I will be back!

It's a Caribbean spot with a full brunch menu, so yes, the food takes a little time... but that's part of the experience, not a flaw. Given the size of our party, the service held its own. It was steady, attentive, and friendly without feeling rushed--which honestly matched the vibe perfectly. If you come in expecting lightning-fast turnaround, you're in the wrong mindset. Come to enjoy your time. Now let's talk food. I ordered the steak, and it did not disappoint--well-seasoned, flavorful, and cooked just right. But the real surprise? That biscuit and butter. Listen... I could've made a whole meal out of that alone. And the mimosas? Nice and light--exactly how our group likes them. I didn't get the oxtail and grits, but I didn't need to. One look across the table told me everything I needed to know--full-on bowl-to-the-chin action. If you know, you know. It wasn't overly crowded for a Sunday, but the weather had randomly dipped back into winter mode after teasing us with 80 degrees, so I'll give them that. Overall, great experience. Good food, solid service, and a vibe that encourages you to sit, sip, and stay awhile. Exactly what brunch should be.

This place just missed the mark for me. It had just opened and I was trying to take a bookmark off. Well, two years later my sweet partner "Big Poppa" (who lives pretty far) committed to coming to me every week to do date night in or out so we have quality time together. He said he Googled all the best restaurants near the D.C. line. He asked me to dress up so I'm thinking it has to be somewhere super nice. When we drove up to Station 202 he said, this can't be it. I laughed so hard. He was so confused. He immediately said, I can't bring you here. I am super easy going so I insisted to just stay and try it out. Needless to say, it is an old dated Italian spot, the owners did not renovate this place at all. It's not fancy and super casual. He said he got cat fished by the pictures. I agree they look good online but the establishment is super casual. Let's get into it! Calamari - Not bad, I'd likely ask them to fry them hard if I ordered again. Meatloaf - Big Poppa was hesitant to order this but he liked it. I didn't try so we are going to take his word for it! Shrimp Linguine - Well I didn't get linguine but it was still very good! We opted for dessert outside of here. Note: Big Poppa was going to get the Burger but when he asked if the hamburger patty was fresh the waitress said no they were frozen. I raised my rating to three. It's okay but I wouldn't come back. Cheers!
