Stopped in here for breakfast and I was seated pretty quickly. I ordered the The Works Omelet and it was pretty good and healthy. The portions were perfect the ingredients made a perfect omelet. The ambience is casual and the place has a very clean modern feel which was nice. I definitely would go back

Ordered this through DoorDash so it might skew the review, but it wasn't as special or amazing as people claimed. Chicken breakfast tacos were alright, and the biscuit bites were just fine. I feel like I've had better breakfast food.

So exciting that Boston now has a first watch location! It's in a great spot just near the prudential center, offering good comfort food breakfasts at a reasonable price for the area. The service was absolutely incredible, our waiter was so kind and helpful, and the food came out quick and fresh despite being busy! I will say, the wait can get long so definitely add your name to the waitlist online. I love the overall cozy and bright morning vibes of this spot. My only critique is that I wasn't overly impressed with the food itself, their juices are pretty incredible but everything else kinda tastes like something I could throw together at home. For that reason, I can't rate them too high because I feel there's better options in the city, but for their extensive menu and fun energy this chain isn't a bad stop.

Sigh. I want to love it here. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. It's cute inside. I like that they leave the coffee pot on the table. The menu items sound amazing. Food execution could use a lift. The dishes we ordered both came with a green salad; however the salads were undressed and did not come with dressing on the side. We had to ask. I ordered eggs Benedict and my biggest qualm (besides the fact there wasn't an English muffin in site) was that the ham was sliced deli ham. It requires proper ham or Canadian bacon. I would not order it again as designed even though the eggs were well cooked and the hollandaise was tasty. My friend ordered an omelet and the holy donuts. I was not wowed by the donuts nor the dipping sauces. I would give it another try as it is a great breakfast spot, but i would hope for a few changes and improvements.

I was glad to be able to check out this restaurant last time I was in town. I came here for breakfast. I had an omelette with avocado, bacon and there was sour cream on top of it too. It was pretty good. It came with a side salad. The service was good here had a nice waitress. If I am in the area again I would come back here to try some other items off of the menu. The ambiance here is chill.

Update to my initial review POOR management....need reservation system! If you're coming in a Sunday morning expect to wait anywhere from 1 to 1 1/2 hours!! They don't take reservations so you have to come in and put name in with host. Supposedly there's a QR code that they don't advertise enough so folks know to use it! I told the hostess at minute 60 that Boston IS a book a table online city. First Watch management should realize that they will keep customers and add even more if there are orderly and not chaotic waits.

If you're looking for something quick and easy, this is a solid spot to check out. The space is clean, newly renovated, and works well for a small group of four or less. The food is decent overall. I ordered the chilaquiles--they were good, though the sauce tasted like it may not be house-made, with a slightly tangy flavor you typically get from a jar or can. Still enjoyable, just something to note if you're expecting a fully homemade touch. One downside is that they don't have an espresso machine, so options like lattes or cappuccinos aren't available--just regular coffee. Overall, it reminds me of IHOP, but a step above in terms of atmosphere and presentation. Had to wait 2-3 min before someone noticed me trying to dine in, service once I sat was descent!

I've dined at First Watch several times in other states but this location opened near me about two months ago. It's surrounded by great brunch places in Boston but still attracted a crowd-40 min wait. I was lucky to snag a seat at the back counter. Tip: you can 'join the wait' remotely from their website. Who knew that turkey sausage gravy and a biscuit could be just as tasty as pork sausage? Also had a fresh fruit cup that was delish. And check out this lavender lemonade cocktail. Ordered ham and Gruyère sandwich to go- comes with a bowl of soup or side salad. I chose the tomato basil soup. It was fantastic on this snowy day. My two servers were pleasant and efficient- they made excellent recommendations to me and other diners. Everyone sitting at the back counter was friendly and chatty. So many great menu choices.

The food was amazing!!! It is worth the wait. I recommend joining the line, online when you are about 20 minutes away. As soon as I got in, I waited about 2 minutes and was seated. The food came out quickly, and was so tasty. My omelette was fluffy and filled with a great amount of meats. The million dollar bacon was okay, would probably skip it. the French toast was amazing!!!! Especially with their warm syrup oh my. The ambiance is cute, kinda small, a party knocked stuff off of our table. But luckily this was before our food got there! 100% recommend

I had a great brunch here! The juices are so tasty to begin with. The strawberry French toast is also quite good. The million dollar potatoes are the star of the show though- wow! Love it

Great location in Back Bay, right across the street from the Prudential Center. I was thrilled to hear they were opening here since I'm already familiar with the chain from Florida. The interior is spotless, spacious, and offers plenty of seating, including bar seating. Service was quick and attentive. The menu is extensive, with breakfast, brunch, and lunch options, plus a few cocktails. I ordered the mint chocolate latte, which was absolutely delicious, and the Trifecta with a blueberry pancake substitution. Everything was excellent and reasonably priced. I'll definitely be back!

I was so excited they opened a First Watch on Boylston and went in around 12. I was sat quickly but, after waiting almost 15 minutes without anyone ever coming over, I left. Such a shame that the service is so awful.

As of August 2026, the website lists the burrito as $14, but the price on the in-person menu was $16. I would give the burrito 4 out of 5 stars because of the way it was wrapped - about a third of the burrito was just egg and cheese and the toppings (avocado, red onion, hash browns, salsa verde, crema) were crammed on the other side of the burrito. If there was a way for the burrito to be wrapped so all the ingredients were more evenly distributed - this would easily be a 5/5 breakfast burrito. One random detail that stuck out to me was that their drinks in their refrigerator were very cold - no lukewarm sodas here! I would come back here to try their signature "Fancy" sandwich. Overall, this is a very solid breakfast spot in Boston!

Won't go back. Wish I had pictures, sorry. I wasn't thinking about a review. After a 15/20 minute wait, in an effort to seat us quickly, they sat us at a table that was wet, with water, and sticky from what was presumably the last table's syrup. There were 2 open, used, nips of syrup on the table that they hadn't seen or bothering to pick up. The ambiance/decor was very confusing, a lot of colors and patterns. It wasn't quirky (I've been to quirky done well), it was bordering on scatterbrained? I joked that the place was meant to be visually confusing so that you wouldn't see the lack of cleanliness. We asked for napkins to wipe our table and we were given napkins to clean it ourselves. I mean sure it was what we had asked for but when I asked in the past, someone came over with a rag and cleaner and cleaned it for us so I was a little underwhelmed with that one. Also, the table was visibly not ready because my partner noticed some hesitation in the guy before he sat us and instead of saying, "wait let me get someone to clean it for you" he sat us anyway. The entire placed smelled like a mix of dirty water and wet dog. In all fairness we should've gotten up and walked out but the restaurant was packed, so we were assuming the food must be good and we were hungry. The first two appetizer plates were got were dirty and my boyfriend's silverware. We asked for new ones. The second two were also not exactly clean but not as bad as the first. We opted to eat our appetizer from the plate it came on. We ordered the Some Like it Tot. It was cool, nothing to write home about. Expected it to be more crunchy (they are tater tots after all). I ordered the mimosa flight. Only one of the drinks had any semblance of alcohol in it. They were... oddly not good? Like not bad, but not great. The flavors on the menu sounded like they should've been great together but what served me was disappointing. I got the cookie monster pancakes. Maybe 2 stars. Very mid and uninspired. Unimpressed. The pancakes were middle of the road. Not great not bed. Best thing about this place were the nips of maple syrup. My boyfriend ordered the Monster breakfast. Also mid. The home fries were not well seasoned. Will not be returning. I'm assuming they need to pay their staff better or hire ones who care or can cook. Our server was kind though.
