Excellent flavor and unique recipes. We have had food from two locations in this franchise. It's not the typical "southern style" in my opinion, but it's good. The Turkey sausage gravy couldn't hold a candle to the real deal for me, but it wasn't bad. The French toast is where it's at! If you love coffee, give theirs a try. We have been to a First Watch in another location and enjoyed our experience. This time was an experience, just not a good one. Once we were seated, we found out, after ten minutes, that we were without a server. The host apologized and took our order. None of the other servers acknowledged us. After 20 minutes, I asked about our meal and after another 10 minutes, it came out. We asked to exchange the toast but never received it. We wound up having to go to the register for our check and then had to ask for the toast to be taken off. I understand that staffing is an issue everywhere, but to not be acknowledged by any of the servers that kept walking by was disappointing. This was a less than pleasant experience.
