I have ate at Waffle Houses all over the country. But this one has to be one of the best. Christmas morning l went in with my wife and it was very busy. But the staff here were total pros and handled everything efficiently and effectively. They got our orders just right and really handled the massive Christmas morning rush perfectly. So if you're coming in from out of town and need a quick breakfast then I'd recommend this Waffle House. Job well done! read more

I was crazy hungry after drinking all that wine. We stopped at the Waffle House. I would have loved to sit down and enjoy my food but It was soooo cold inside. We ordered to go. Hubby has a Grand slam breakfast- Waffle, hash brown potatoes, bacon, toast & scrambled eggs. I had an order of grits and cheese on the side for me. Everything was hot and we watched them cook it to order. They were giving the cashier a playful hard time that he didn't call my grits and cheese. I said that's the most important part of the meal. Oh my goodness! The hash brown bowls are so satisfying - the first day I had it with sausage and scrambled eggs - the second (yeah that's right 2 days in a row) I had it with ham and scrambled eggs. Husband was the reason we came here back to back - he lived in this area decades ago and remembered the grits and gravy and biscuits - he wasn't disappointed at all. Even the coffee was good. This was my first time at this chain. I sat at the counter the tables were full so I took the first available. I enjoyed sitting at the counter I watched at the waffle making action. I didn't try the coffee but the OJ was Minute Maid and of course I had a waffle ( cmon it's the Waffle House) and side of scrambled eggs both came hot. It was served with a smile. We stopped for breakfast this morning before taking my grandson to school. He loves their waffles so about once a week we have breakfast there. There was a young man working as a server that we've seen many times before. He has always handed us off to another server but since he was the only server working he waited on us. It seemed we were a bother to him from the time we ordered beverages until I paid the bill. We ordered our usual, all star breakfasts. I share mine with my waffle loving grand son and my husband eats his. I'm picky about my eggs, always ordered scrambled very hard, bacon, hash browns with onions, raisin toast and a plain waffle. When I got my eggs they were not scrambled, they were over very hard, and are not are all what I ordered. So my food was taken away left sit one the counter until replacement eggs were made. The server ordered them wrong. Finally I got my food about 10 minutes after my husbands came out. No waffles. Our server walked into the back and finally we caught the cook and asked where the waffles were, he didn't know we ordered them. 25 minutes after arriving and with only 2 other take out orders in that time my grandson finally got his food. Waffle House isn't gourmet food but grandson loves their waffles and service is usually great but the guy that waited on us today needs to find new employment. He's beyond terrible. Evidentially talking to young women is more important that placing customer orders and making they are taken care of. If he is on duty the next time we will go else where. He has been employed long enough to be a good server but customers are not his priority. read more

Absolutely amazing service from the time we entered to the time we left. The food was great too!

The food and service was good but within the maybe 10 mins I sat at the counter waiting for my food watching everything, Dan the divison manager (I asked later what his name and title was) was overly touchy with 2 of the employees 3 different times. He rubbed his hand from the cooks lower back up to the top and let it linger. Then walked up to her again and rubbed his hand on the inside of her arm up and down while she was cooking. THEN I watched him walk up behind another employee as she was bent over the counter writing something and rubbed his hands all over her entire back. That is definitely not appropriate for the work place and this guy is a CREEP! It would surprise me if he doesn't have sexual harassment charges brought against him already.
