They have done all kinds of work for me: new windows, new garage roof, etc. Most recently he installed a chimney flue cap at one of my rentals. Being a new homeowner has been rough with all the necessary upgrades and repairs. We got Jerry's name and contact information from his brother Greg's (also a general contractor) company when we called there, looking for someone to do emergency/same day repairs on a large section of our vinyl siding that had come lose as a result of the storms & high winds we've been having. Jerry called us right back and said he could be out within the hour to take a look, give us an estimate, and fix the vinyl siding (mind you, we'd already called AT LEAST a half dozen contractors, NONE of whom could even come out to give us an estimate, much less repair the siding, same day!) Was quoted $1240 for a job that would take three hours to complete thinking this was a fairly difficult job to do. They completed it in an hour. Seems like they over charged me about $1000. Would definitely not recommend this company. When I complained about the job they told me they would sit in their van for another two hours to make it three hours total. read more

Never had a guy threaten me with court when i was merely stating i didnt think the work was as good as i thought it was going to be. Evidently, He was going through an extensive surgery right after i accepted his proposal. Didnt tell me that until after i had agreed, wouldnt have agreed had i known that... little shifty there. I gave him the time he asked for because of surgery and even a little extra just under the assumption he would get to my project when he was better. Like many contractors, once he had me he didnt care about timing. I actually found out he got out of the hospital and started other projects (SUPER SHADY MOVE JERRY!) When doing it he asked if he could not take out the roofing under the AC units... of course i want you to take out the roofing under the AC units! Im paying for a full new roof replacement! He said he'd "throw in" some parapet wall pieces in quote but when the show started he seemed to forget that until i reminded him and nailed down how many "a few" meant. Later once i saw the roof and how flimsy it seemed, he hung up on me and said "ill see you in court" when it never even crossed my mind to not pay. I always pay my bills my parents taught me that. I paid him Every dime he asked for minus tequila bottle costs cited below. His crew hit the neighbors lights off when i asked before hand to be extra careful. He made me feel like i was not respecting his ability by making that statement. Ends up, his guys did break neighbors light. I bought neighbor a bottle of tequila and when i mentioned it to him he said "fine! ill buy you TWO bottles of tequila!" Like i was being pushy or something. Before the work i showed him where it was bowing causing water to pool and stated very clearly i wanted it leveled off in those spots with whatever methods he needed to do. Later i saw it pooling in those same spots, so yeah i was a bit peeved! He patched some parts later on and didnt paint over it properly so now i have these big black splotches in certain parts of my otherwise shiny metallic roof. I look at the roof and it looks OK. I did get cheaper quotes but he called me a liar when i said that. What a dick. Giving 1 star. he did finish the job (a month late) and it is what i would consider "decent". but i would drive to another state to get better work and customer service. He really did scare me with his legal threats so curious if he'll threaten me again now that im posting this. If he does ill post his text message thread with me when he threatened me so you all can be the judge. Ask him if hes going into the hospital before you go with him... read more

After a spring wind storm, a large piece of cladding was ripped off the second story of my home. (Cladding is the thin piece of metal that covers both the wooden window frame and the edge of the window.) I called several window firms and was told my job was too small. Luckily the last place I called recommended Jerry, owner of this company. Jerry got back to me same day. He asked me to send a couple of pictures and after reviewing them gave me a reasonable quote. He then stopped by to pick up a piece of the original cladding for color matching. The installation of the new piece happened a couple of weeks later. Jerry and one other worker arrived first thing in the morning, as scheduled. They had to set up their ladders in my front garden. They were clearly safety conscious and focused, and also took care to not trample any plants. They installed the new cladding quickly and carefully, and while Jerry had warned me that the color match wouldn't be perfect, I cannot see a difference. It looks perfect to my eye! We also had a piece of cable that had blown loose and was flopping around the side wall. Jerry took a few minutes to secure it along the wall before packing up his ladders. The job was finished in about an hour for the price quoted. As an owner maintaining a 100+ year old building, it is important to me to have meticulous professionals that I can rely on.
