David and Gerson from First Class Water Heaters were nice, informative, knowledgeable, reliable, professional, helpful, respectful, transparent and reasonably priced. David responded promptly to a phone message I had left late on a Saturday afternoon and gave a breakdown what would entail an install of a Rinnai( I got his number via the online warranty page of Rinnai for trained, qualified, and professional installers), and quite a reasonable estimate. He sent Gerson out the next week to preform a visual diagnosis and estimate, and while looking at my 41 year old heater, Gerson noticed that my water heater was leaking as well and needed replacement after it's 16 y.o. lifespan. He recommended a tank less combi, and saved me an extra install for a water heater as well. I was very happy with his observant eyes. Both were utmost accommodating when there was a problem with the delivery of the combi and rescheduled without complaints. I am enjoying a great efficient heater/water heater combi. Thank you First Class Water Heaters for an awesome job! I would recommend them to anyone. -Annette read more

"It's truly a gem of an experience. I discovered this exceptional team through Fidelity Home Warranty when my old water heater gave up on me. Iliah and another gentleman (I apologize for not recalling his name) came to my home to replace the water heater. Their service went above and beyond in numerous ways. They not only replaced the water heater but also took the initiative to clean the old pipes, install a metal frame for the new water heater for added safety, inspect a malfunctioning water filter, and even clear clogs from the garbage disposal. I initially hired them solely for the water heater replacement, but they didn't stop there; they performed all these additional tasks without me even having to ask. It's truly remarkable to find professionals who exhibit such dedication and thoroughness in their work. I wholeheartedly recommend and endorse their services." I would hire them whenever I have any plumbing issue read more

My significant other and I moved into our new home and discovered our water heater was having trouble keeping hot. We contacted our warranty company and they referred us to First Class. Charles, the gentleman who came out to do our inspection found that the water heater was not only out of date but out of code as well. After talking through options he suggested a tankless water heater for us. They worked with our warranty company and were out a couple days later and removed and replaced the old water heater with the new tankless all completed in just a couple hours and he took care of the disposal of the old heater as well. We are very satisfied with the fast and wonderful service we received and our now endless hot water! Highly recommend and we'll be going through them for all our plumbing needs from now on! read more

I'm a DIYer who changed out a thermocoupler after a "can't relight pilot light" situation, but misinterpreted some startup sounds to believe my aging tank had a leak. I had FCWH come out expecting to have to replace my tank asap, but tech Jayme after checking, explained that I didn't have a leak and my tank, while old, was still functional. I greatly appreciated the honest evaluation which gives me space to do some homework and evaluate whether to replace with a tank or tankless (I got an estimate/recommendation from Jayme for both types). Given the trust earned by the honest evaluation of my system, I will go with First Class WH once I decide which way to go on replacement. read more

I was having issues with hot water running through all my pipes, and then the hot water heater went out. I was unsuccessful in re-lighting it on my own. Completely weird situation. I called to my home warranty company, Fidelity National and they sent out Charles with First Class Water Heaters. Charles was able to replace my Thermal Coupler that went bad and re-light it the pilot. He then came back to assess and fix the rest of the piping issues in my house. Not only were they polite and punctual, but they gave me some useful information about my hot water heater. I would definitely use them again, through home warranty or not. read more

Dishwasher flooded. Trey came out, on time, with a good attitude and competence. He checked in with home office and told me what was connected and what was going on. He showed me. He also checked to be sure my Warranty covered service. He will also call my insurance with his evaluation. I need a new dishwasher. He was Covid conscience and only moved minimal supplies to follow the hose. He was in and out in less than 30 minutes. In short he knew what he was doing...on a Saturday! If I ever need help in the future, I will call this company. Thank you, Trey. Jen read more

We love this company! They answered our call for help with our tankless water heater promptly; gave us a time to expect them; called back to say they could arrive sooner if that would work; came in, looked at and cleared the error code and told us we just needed to soak the filter in vinegar for a few minutes and that was it! David didn't even charge us for the visit. We will be calling First Class Water Heaters for all of our future needs. Thank you David for your excellent service. Charles and Sheila R. read more

This review is for sacramento arm of the company. Charles cam out on home warranty call and was very knowledgeable about code and answered my many questions. Then he came back the next day to replace the hot water heater after home warranty authorized it. He and one other guy worked really late getring us all set up and not cutting any corners despite the late timeframe for istallation having me check water temp and adjusting the settings to make it hotter etc when I am sure they were both anxious to get home. read more
