They responded to my request so fast I thought it was a bot, but it wasn't. A real person called and left a message. I called back to explain what I was interested in and he scheduled an appointment for that day (I think). I was assured that I'd be called or texted when the technician was on his way. I expected to have to wait the full 2-hour window I was given, but no! I was called about 5 minutes before the window started to see if I was still available. The technician arrived exactly on time, right at the start of the window! After a short explanation of my needs he just said "OK, let's take a look at the space and talk about it." He explained every step of what they'd do to install a tankless water heater, he looked at the whole area to check for pipes, electrical access, spacing inside and out for a condensation line - making feel very comfortable that it would be planned before the installation to avoid last minute issues. A big plus, he told me he'd be part of the installation team. He also told me I should go ahead and get another few quotes. I think these guys are confident they're giving the prices in the sweet spot of costs. Then we spent time just talking about landscaping and plants! I'm not in a hurry to start this project, it's on my list of improvements and I'm just starting to investigate. However, I'm extremely impressed with the service given at this stage, the thorough approach in explaining, and the honestly. I will get another quote, but the next one has a high bar to cross; not only the service, but Water Heaters Masters quote was WELL below the only other quote I had gotten so far. I have a very good feeling about WHM. I'll come back to let you know more when I've finished the whole project.

Jonathan was the fourth plumber, and the only one willing to thoroughly investigate, problem-solve, and see the job through. Where others gave up, Jonathan went above and beyond. His expertise, patience, and honesty solved issues that others and my contractor couldn't resolve. He carefully worked around electrical wiring, created access points when needed, installed a complex faucet in extremely tight conditions, and clearly explained every step so I could make informed decisions. He also communicated effectively with administrators at Superior Plumbing so that the home warranty was handled properly. I truly believe that without Jonathan, my plumbing problems would not have been fixed. Because of him, everything was resolved correctly and within my budget. While a water heater contractor was replacing the valves, I noticed corrosion around an internal seal; they told me I'd have to figure out the parts with Rinnai myself, and their quote for the labor ended up being far too costly. My home's water pressure had also been high for years, which EBMUD confirmed was my responsibility to fix. I had recently been through a layoff, and the financial pressure of maintaining a mortgage while facing multiple expensive repairs was a real concern. High water pressure eventually wears out seals and causes catastrophic damage, so I knew I had to use my emergency fund to find a plumber who would get the job done right. Willy showed up for the quote on time and conducted an efficient, knowledgeable survey of my main riser. His communication style was clear, concise, and confidence-inspiring. He quoted a reasonable price compared to other vendors and was willing to work within my budget. He immediately chose a 1" manifold design to match the main service line--rather than a value-engineered 1/2" design--and even worked with me to relocate my hose bibb to a more accessible height so I wouldn't have to stoop. Willy's accessibility, responsiveness, and expertise really set Blue Sky apart. He did an outstanding (and quick) job installing a new 1-inch copper manifold and a double-union PRV, relocating the hose bibb, and getting my house back to a reasonable 65 PSI, which will save me time, money, and tears. Willy went above and beyond. While on-site for the quote, I mentioned the issue with the Rinnai heater. Willy knew exactly why the seal was failing (likely due to that high water pressure) and offered to coordinate the warranty replacement parts from Rinnai on my behalf. He called their service department, had the parts shipped to him, and came back after the PRV install the following week to perform the tankless repair. I was truly impressed and grateful. His honesty and skill are what I've been looking for since purchasing my home in 2018, and I'm happy to have finally found my go-to local plumber. His assistant Mateus was super nice and capable, too! It's rare to find this level of technical expertise combined with genuine integrity. If you want the job done right by someone who actually cares about the long-term health of your home's infrastructure--and won't try to break your budget--look no farther than Blue Sky Plumbing and Willy.     I can't say I'm happy writing this review, but I feel I need to. I had used BeastBay Plumbing once…read morebefore when we had a drain problem. They were responsive, the tech was friendly and informative. He fixed the problem and we signed up for their loyalty program. I knew our water heater was nearing the end of its lifespan and I called them to get a quote. Sydney came out and explained options. I ended up going for the tankless water heater. I also got quotes to replace a faucet in the kitchen and install a new shower fixture. The techs that showed up were courteous, but were a couple of hours later than the time I had expected. I anticipated the faucet and shower fixture jobs to go fairly quickly, but they took almost two hours. Then they started work on the water heater. What Sydney hadn't discussed was the need for direct power for the tankless system, or the need for a new vent. The tech wanted to open the ceiling up, but as it's a two-story house, and a tile roof, that was a hard no. They ended up doing a vent through the side of the house. At first they said it would be a two-day job, which was not mentioned when I booked the job, but after getting the side vent in, they said they'd finish that day. Here is where things go very very badly. The next day I went into the garage to move a car. I was overwhelmed with the smell of gas. I called BeastBay and phone center told me to call 911, which I did. In the meantime I opened the garage door. I realized after I hit the button, should anything spark, the whole place could go up. Thankfully, it didn't. The fire department came out, pinpointed that BeatBay had not tightened the gas connection to the tankless unit and turned it off. Then began a 2+ hour marathon of calls to BeastBay to get someone out immediately. Except they didn't. I had to call the office 4 times, and then had three different conversations with the office. In the meantime Sydney came back out to see what was up. I explained the severity of the gas leak and also told him I wasn't happy that he hadn't mentioned needing direct power, or the need to re-vent from the previous water heater. Sydney indicated there would be a small rebate and they would service the unit going forward free of charge. The tech showed up, apologized for not securing the gas line, tightened it up and left. This was a week and a half ago. I heard nothing more from BeastBay. I called the office Wednesday and asked they memorialize what Sydney had said during our meeting in writing. The woman who answered, Sarah?, said she'd have to check with Sydney, in a tone that said she didn't believe he had offered anything. She came back and said that was correct and she'd send it over as an email. Nothing was forthcoming. I've called the office twice today, two times no one answering, and the third time it going to a general voice mail. To say I'm disappointed in the service is an understatement. This is a massive failure on so many fronts.
