Nick was awesome. He was referred by our original plumber who no longer lives in the Bay Area. I called him because my fancy wall-mount Vola faucet popped out of the wall after almost 20 years of service. I tried to put it back in myself, but the water pressure pushed it back out every time I turned on the water. I was worried that I might need to buy an expensive new faucet and/or even need to remove the stone backsplash. I was also worried that it might be days or over a week before we we would be able to get someone to come out. We live in Oakland and I wasn't sure if he was located nearby. I was pleasantly surprised right from the start when he answered the phone. I was expecting to have to leave a message. He was very nice and friendly. I had a busy work day and didn't get around to calling until after lunch and was amazed when he said he could be to my house by 5 pm. Wow! A little later he texted me to tell me he could get there even earlier if that was OK. I said, "Yes, please!" He was on time and said the problem was an easy quick fix. He was done in a few minutes and what he charged was very fair. I expected to pay more. I own two small businesses myself and know that whatever time it takes to do the job doesn't take into consideration how much time it takes to get to and from the job and the overhead of starting and running a business. One morning at 4am, I my clothes washer drained into my kitchen sink which overflowed and covered all the kitchen flooring. A local plumber could not resolve the problem. Our tankless gas water heater broke and we had made a number of calls to plumbers in the area none of which responded or were unable to work on them. I called Apex the next day and Nick came out same day. He went over our unit said he could fix it but that it had been incorrectly installed (we weren't surprised) He showed us where there was corrosion and other damage. He gave us what I considered a very good deal on much better unit and got it installed same day.
