First Class Tree Service removed a very tall twin king palm from in front of my house this morning. It was located just a few feet from my house and hung over my neighbors yard and not far from power lines. The crew arrived on time, worked fast and efficiently as a team, safely removed the tree not even damaging small plants around it. They were most careful and then cleaned up everything promptly. I highly recommend José and his team. I'll be calling him next time I need tree work done. read more

Jose and his team did a fabulous job trimming my very tall palm tree. All their people had their safety equipment and did not take long to get the job done. They clean the area up and now my palm tree has a fabulous haircut! This is the second time I used them and they don't disappoint. Trust the reviews. No hassle, kept it simple, in and out and that's a wrap! read more

First Class Tree Service did a great job at a reasonable fee. They trimmed my huge, out-of-control Bougainville shrub to the exact shape that we discussed. They removed the cut branches and cleaned up all of the leaves. They even loaded all the branches into their mulching machine so the green waste would go to a good use. They were very professional and they even showed up a little early for their appointment. I will definitely be using them again. read more

Jose came the same day I called to assess my 2 palm trees and made arrangements a few days later for trimming. Jose was flexible with changing dates when the day we arranged did not work out. He left nice a clean afterwards! Also was flexible and patient when my HOA could not pay his service right away!! On top Jose's price was fair!! We will have his company trim our palms again next year! read more

A picture speaks a thousand words. If it is possible to sculpt a more symmetrical and majestic palm tree, I don't see it. In addition to a finished product that is nothing short of fine art, the work crew was professional and took precautions to protect my pool. read more

Excellent service, highly recommend. We have a huge canary island date palm that was overgrown and needed trimming. First Class Tree service was reasonably priced and did an excellent job! They shaped the crown of the tree like a beautiful pineapple, it was like a work of art when they were done. There was a lot of trunk and trimming debris but the team did a great job cleaning up. I would definitely hire them again on future work needed on our trees! read more

Jose & Eduardo provided excellent service. Needed a tall palm tree to be trimmed, they came to look and quoted me a great price. Work was done accordingly and faster than expected. Great crew! read more

José and his team came out within a few hours of my call and quickly assessed the scope for the job, taking notes and some pictures of the trees. I received a very reasonable offer with a start date of the same week. The teams arrived promptly at the start of work and left the yard spotless. I look forward to calling them back next year. read more

They provide such knowledgeable and thorough service, and reasonably priced. From quote to clean up, they were easy to work with and made our trees look great. First, Jose (jr.) came out and looked at our trees for the annual trimming, and provided a quote. Then Jose (sr.) and Eduardo came with a team to trim. They laced our huge 3-story Chinese elm, trimmed down a completely overgrown line of 10 border trees, and reshaped a shade tree that was overtaking our patio, so that the tree is pretty and healthy but not crowding us out. For each tree they listened to our concerns, answered our questions, and made sure we knew the plan. Great service. Highly recommend. This is our 2nd year using them and we will call them again. read more

Our second time with First Class Tree Service and they continue to impress. They did exactly what they said they would, when they said that would and for the price they quoted. Very fast, professional and clean. I wish all service people were even close to this good. read more

It was so refreshing to find a competent, competitively priced company to clean up our palm trees. I have had to deal with so many flaky and dishonest people in the landscaping/gardening trade. Jose Jr came out and gave us a bid for the trees we needed trimmed and was on time, professional and personable. We live in the beach area and everyone is close together so when they trimmed our tall palms, some debris was shed into my neighbor's yard. Jose Sr asked if I could contact our neighbor so they could clean up the debris in his yard as well. My neighbor texted me later to say what a great crew they were. They trimmed 7 palms, cleaned up all debris, returned outdoor furnishings and cleaned up my neighbors yard in about 40 minutes...and through it all their crew was friendly and pleasant. They did a great job, I was truly impressed at how neat the palms now look, I will be using them again next year. I highly recommend First Class Tree Service. read more

First Class Tree Service - Fresh cut! - Tree Services Near Me

Jose had his crew remove a brutally invasive 40 year old Brazilian pepper tree for my neighbor and I. The crew left the area clean and grinded the stump down chipping/hauling every last branch away. Pricing was great as I had shopped the removal with four other companies. As with any project, if you do not have proper communication established, things can go sideways on you really quick. With First Class, the communication was excellent. Jose is not a "fast talker" in a car salesman kind of way. He meant what he said and above all, he followed through. That's hard to find these days. Jose advised as to when the crew would be there and they were punctual as promised. I was concerned about some plumerias on my side of the fence and branches falling on them. I let the crew know and they made sure they would go unscathed. I can attest that this is a legitimate review. I do not know Jose or his family in any way. They worked hard for my neighbor and I. We had a great experience. read more

Jose and his team have been trimming my now VERY tall Date Palms for many years. I used someone else once and regretted it. They go above and beyond and I will never use anyone else. They just came today and helped me attach these new heavy string lights to my tallest palm. I am super happy. Thank you guys! read more

Jose provided a timely quote to remove my 15 foot palm tree. He confirmed his company is licensed and bonded, this was important to me. Jose and his team arrived and completed removing the palm tree, grinding the stump and sweeping up. The crew was professional and completed the job in about an hour. As I watched them removing my palm, I saw that safety was a high priority-they had the right equipment, and protection was in place to ensure safety. The crew cleaned up and Jose gave me information regarding the area where the palm had resided, what I could put in its place. I would highly recommend Jose and his team for anyone looking for tree service. read more

I had JUST finished remodeling and furnishing a house. Everything was pristine, inside and out. I wanted the dying palm trees gone so I could finally do professional photography. These guys had the job done in less than an hour. BUT, they did not bother to cover the open window less than two feet from the removal site. Much to my horror, I later discovered the entire inside of the house - all new and pristine - covered in dust. EVERYTHING. COVERED. IN DUST. So much for the pristine white walls and woodwork. So much for all the new upholstery and white window coverings. I'm still cleaning. First Class? Not so much. read more

Great family business. Jose was polite, on time, very professional. The job they did on my front yard tree was fabulous. Highly recommend!!

Did everything that I asked with care and courtesy. Awesome service. They cleaned up after the work was done.

We had a MASSIVE tree in our front yard that we unfortunately had to remove due to safety concerns. Jose and First Class Tree service were able to give me a fair price and were quick to get me on the schedule. They were incredibly professional and did an amazing job taking down this tree quickly, to the point ALL of my neighbors were complimenting them on what a great job they did and how professional they were. We did not want to take this tree down and I was concerned how everyone would feel because it was a beautiful tree, but First Class Tree Service made everyone at ease and our whole block was happy with their work. Thanks so much to Jose and his team!!! read more

The crew at First Class Tree Service are amazing and I want to thank the team for coming out and trimming our tree. They definitely have earned my trust for doing a great job as well as being extremely reliable with top notch customer service. Our tree is a 15 foot tall carrot wood tree planted by the city many years ago and prior to us purchasing the home. The tree had a dense crown and many dead branches with our house power running through the tree to the main panel. As the power line is between the pole and the house, it is the homeowners responsibility to trim it. We needed the tree trimmed prior to getting our electrical panel upgraded for solar installation as SDGE demanded the tree to be trimmed. Jose came out to evaluate the tree and bid on the job as well as multiple other trees that would need servicing in the future. Their price was fair with respect to all our bids so we authorized the work. The crew came out on time and laced the tree, cleared out the dead branches and left the tree beautiful trimmed. They cleaned up after themselves and even trimmed our neighbors tree on the spot when he came out and saw their work. Fast forward to our solar/panel upgrade installation date and the SDGE lineman that came out said the tree was not trimmed enough. They could disconnect the power for the electrical panel upgrade but to reconnect it we needed a 3 foot radius around the power line which we did not have. If we proceeded we could potentially be out of power for days. If we didn't, the project would be pushed back months unless we got the tree trimmed in the hour, and prior to the city inspector arriving. It is important to note that as the tree was next to a power line, it is highly recommended that you do not trim the tree yourself because you'll risk electrocution. First Class Tree Service really pulled through at last minute. I called Jose, and he got the entire crew out within an hour to trim the tree (again) to the lineman's demands, cleaned up and left within 15 minutes of arriving! Now the tree is ugly because of SDGE but the installation could proceed without any issue. I'd like to express my gratitude for the crew at First Class for being responsive and efficient. I highly recommend them for your heir great work and for their superior customer service. I've added some before and after pictures of the laced tree prior to needing it mangled for our installation. read more

I could not be happier with the work first class tree service provided for my family! From the initial consultation to the day they started the job, everything was done professionally, in a timely matter and at a reasonable price! My husband and I just bought our first home and during the process, we were told the 16 eucalyptus trees on the hillside in our backyard needed to stay in order to support the hillside. However, it was the root system needed and not the actual trees coming out of the ground that was preventing a landslide. Long story short, we found out AFTER we bought our home that the trees in our backyard were a huge hazard and it was a matter of time until one came crashing down on our house. We also have a small dog and a one year old so we definitely didn't want to risk anyone's safety. We had several companies come out to give estimates and their opinions but first class tree service impressed us the most. They were booked out well into November (for good reason!) but after I explained how concerned I was with my daughters safety, they did what they could to accommodate us sooner. They showed up early and ready to work! These guys had their word cut out for them but they did an amazing job! Eucalyptus trees are extremely messy and along with the dirt on our hillside, I imagined it would be a disaster out there once they finished. . . Nope! They cleaned up SO WELL, you would never know we had work done. We also had a tree in our front yard that was beginning to affect our foundation so we had them remove that one completely. When the trees in our backyard begin to grow tall again, we will definitely hire first class tree service to come out and trim them down! Seriously, I would recommend them to anyone and everyone! We are so thankful for Jose, Eduardo and the rest of the guys at first class tree service! read more

I hardly ever write a review but I must this time. The guys at First Class Tree Service , (Jose, Jose Jr. and Eduardo ) deserve our thanks for a job well done. They showed up on time, their price was reasonable and they stuck to the price. They are licensed and insured. We will recommend them to all our friends. They were fast, did absolutely no damage to anything other than what they were supposed taking out, and cleaned up after themselves completely. All the workers were regular company employees and the owners worked right alongside them. Everyone was very polite and professional. I can't recommend them highly enough. I have a rather large property with multiple trees and have used First Class Tree Service two times now. Previously, I used the same service for many years. I found First Class Tree Service just as their their name says, prompt professional, and a pleasure to deal with. I received a bid from, Jose, of First Class Tree service to remove a large tree from my Patio. He was on time and very professional as well as pleasant to deal with. Promptly came out to give an estimate to remove two trees that were too close to my home. Estimate was below average compared to other companies but they seemed professional about it and would do everything I needed. I hired them even though they said it take two to three weeks before they could get to me. They had availability one and a half weeks later. They were careful to place plywood between the trees and the house so nothing would get damaged. Cut down the two trees way quicker than I thought it would take them and fed everything into the tree grinder and cleaned up any mess that was created. I'll be using these guys for more tree service in the future. read more
