100% recommend First Class Tree Service! Jose was super responsive, took the time to see the project to provide me a same day quote and we were able to clear out an eyesore of a stump the next day. Other sites gave me a blind quote with little to no context and were well over what I paid for with First Class. Definitely will be a returning customer for our tree services. read more

Had a great experience with Jose from beginning to end. For the first proposal, Jose met me at the property and was very informative and patient in explaining the various ways our tree and the nuisance tree branches from our neighbor's overhanging branches could be cut to beautify the property. It had been a few months when finally the HOA was able to take action and I had gotten a couple other bids in the meantime. Since the bid from First Class was valid for 30 days, Jose said he would have to inspect the tree again. He stated that they are booking 3 weeks out, I was okay with that, even though this tree needed a hair cut bad! After the subsequent inspection, he honored the initial proposal amount. Jose was able to squeeze us into the schedule for the following day. I would definitely recommend their services. This is a family company and Jose is very responsive, knowledgeable, rates are reasonable and they do great job. read more

I have used First Class Tree service twice now. They are a great family run operation. The prices are reasonable and results are first class. I have five queen palms and four birds of paradise tree clusters. They are happier and healthier than they have ever been. If you are thinking of tree service, reach out to them for no pressure sales and quick turn around time. They will even split the quote into segments if you have a lot of trees that need servicing. I get compliments on my trees all the time and I always give credit to my arborist. read more

Second time using First Class Tree Service and they were just as great as the first time. They were prompt, didn't mind that I was on a busy corner and were able to pull out 7 palm trees with no issue before 10am! read more

Very impressed with this company. Jose responded to my inquiry almost immediately and came out that same day to give me an estimate. Scheduling was a bit more of a "We can come now if that works", less than a week later, and it worked. I was impressed when the giant truck and wood chipper pulled up and beyond impressed when the whole job (including considerable clean up of palm tree seeds) was done in less than 30 minutes. I've never had anyone do the work so quickly and professionally. Will definitely be a repeat customer, and have already told my neighbor to hire them for his projects. :) read more

First Class Tree Service did an excellent job pruning my canary palms. Jose answered my inquiry through Yelp immediately, and actually was able to come by and give me an estimate within an hour. 48-hours later, the job is done and I am very happy. I, the [ retired ] San Diego Highwayman, ABsoLUTELY WILL utilize their service in the future again! Whole crew was friendly, efficient, and careful. My HUGE "beach umbrella" pecan tree that shades my "cabin", property, and barn, here on the Goose Creek Ranch, FROM the blazing HOT afternoon summer sun was WAY overdue for some seriously hard to do "reduction and trimming" There was very little safe "drop zone" space for the "trimmed" branches to land in w-o damaging my barn or cabin or my smaller potted-rooted smaller trees. They managed to DO it by lowering the larger pieces w ropes. The "climber" of the crew was WAY UP in the top :O and the fellas on the ground, and on the roofs, cleared the debris quickly whilst cutting up the larger pieces FOR me to be utilized in my airtite wood stove this winter [ thanks fellas ;) ] None of my skylights were damaged, [ they protected them w plywood panels ] nor was there ANY damage to my 30 year old roof. The timing of their visit couldn't have been better! AFTER their visit -- we had our first major rain event AND our first MAJOR WIND event as well -- NO subsequent damage from the hanging "widow makers" that HAD been present prior to their excellent work! I give them my HIGHEST recommendation! read more

I highly recommend First Class Tree Service. They are very knowledgeable about tree types, professional, efficient, they work hard and get things done quickly. Trimming and lacing of my four canyon trees were done exactly according to the specifications requested. They also cleared out fallen branches in my backyard canyon and did a super job of cleaning up all the trimmed branches and leaves. Definitely will user their services again! read more

WOW! Impressive experience working with First Class Tree Service! I couldn't recommend enough. Quick to respond to quote request from yelp and showed up the SAME DAY for a a very competitive quote. Both the service and price were great. We have 5 queen palms that needed trimming and cleaning up, and the response we got from First Class was fast and friendly compared to the other quotes we attempted to get. A crew of 4 showed up and had the work completed and cleaned up in less than an hour. Since our palms need regular maintenance to look their best, I plan to call Jose and his crew when the time comes. read more

I have been through a few different tree services over the years. First Class Tree Service is the best company by far. They have been trimming my 10 palms and 2 large trees for the past four years. I usually don't write reviews but after another great job I felt compelled to write a review. Jose Jr. always provides a quote before they schedule the service. Jose Sr. and crew are friendly, and they have always shown up early. They have a truck and chipper and haul everything away. They clean up all the dust and leaves. When they are done my yard is cleaner than when they arrived. They come out with a crew that is the right size for the job. They usually knock out all my trees in a couple hours. Most importantly First Class does an excellent job at trimming my palms/trees. They do a thorough job and trees look great when they are done. Finally, their price is reasonable. Remember, you get what you pay for when it comes to tree service. I know this from experience. If you want the job done right, give them a call. read more

I needed my Chinese Elm tree trimmed and laced. Jose was quick to respond to my request and came out to view the tree and provide me an estimate. Jose was quick to schedule this and Alfredo and his crew came out and did a fantastic job. They were punctual and listened to what I wanted done. They also did a great job of cleaning up. I am very happy with this company from start to finish and would definitely use them again. read more

Definitely call these guys!! Jose, Eduardo and team are truly First Class! They provided estimate same day I called! Friendly, efficient, great attention to detail and excellent clean up! You'll be so glad you did! Thanks again FCTS! read more

I had First Class Tree Service prune an overgrown tree that was resting on my garage roof and completely remove a large tree from my backyard (including grinding the stump down). They did a fantastic job and were a pleasure to work with. They promptly responded to my inquiry and came out to give me a quote. Jose listened to my concerns, answered my questions, and gave me a couple different service options for my tree in the backyard at my request. Service was scheduled promptly. On the day of service, they showed up on time and very efficiently and skillfully did the job. Price was as quoted and everyone I talked to on the crew was friendly and courteous. I will definitely be calling them again. read more

We recently had the opportunity to work with Jose and his team for tree removal from the hillside below our house and removing some stumps on the main lot. He is extremely friendly and professional and was great to work with. His team was full of hard-workers and they took down the 3 large eucalyptus trees with ease. You get all of that and at a reasonable price. 100% recommend him and his team and plan to use him in the future. read more

Service and price were both great. We received almost an immediate response to our request for a quote and the on site visit occurred the very next day. Price was very reasonable and we booked the service for 3 days later. 2 days later we received a call saying they could make it that day if it was OK with us. Tree was out that day and everything was left neat and tidy. They even cut and stacked the wood at our request so that we could use it later! Just a great experience from beginning to end! read more

I usually don't post reviews for a company that I didn't transact with but I was really impressed by Jose's responsiveness and integrity so felt strongly about sharing my experience. I asked First Class Tree Service to look at our palm trees but he stated that in good conscience he couldn't take the project because there wasn't much to cut (the HOA sent an unfounded letter). He gave good recommendations of how to proceed as well. Jose was super responsive via the Yelp app. Highly recommend! read more

These guys really are first class. And very reasonable in price as well. It's pretty cool to watch them at work. They make daunting tasks for the average person almost look easy. First Class Tree Service is a father (Jose) and son (Eduardo) team which responded to my estimate request.
