We have very challenging hedges on a steep hillside with a ocean view being impacted, had spoken to several companies who were unable to solve the problem. First Class Tree Service came in with a large crew and did a great job in a matter of hours - they were not cheap but, did a great job read more

Had the team from First Class out to my place in Normal Heights yesterday to do some major clean up on two eucalyptus trees in my backyard. The job is complicated by the fact that access to my backyard on a canyon is only by several flights of stairs. They sent 5 guys out and they worked efficiently and collectively to get the job done pretty quickly, having to haul all of the trimmings by foot up the flights of stairs to the chipper out front. I have had the trees trimmed once in the past since living in this house and can say that First Class did a MUCH better job. The trees look great and they thinned them out enough that the effort will clearly last for several years before I'll need to do it again. Jose was really easy to work with and, due to my busy schedule, I communicated almost solely through text message with him after the initial site visit, which was convenient for me. The price was great for the quality. I know they do the trimming on several of my neighbors' trees as well. I highly recommend them. read more

Their prices are exorbitant (literally 50% higher than the folks who ended up doing the job). And it took so long just to SCHEDULE the service that I finally gave up and went with another company. Your time and money will be better spent giving another company a shot. read more

My neighbor recommended First Class Tree Service and I could not be happier. They arrived on time they gave me a clear estimate. This was not an easy job I had many concerns and they addressed all of them. Both Jose Jr and Senior answered all my questions. They were efficient careful and tidy. I will continue to use First Class Tree Service and I happy to recommend them in this my first Yelp review. read more

Do you want " First Class Service?" Than this is the company to call. We needed to remove a large palm tree in our backyard and not being familiar with this type of service needed I called and immediately spoke to "Jose." He was prompt to answer the call and came the next day to assess our needs. Jose was on time and very courteous as well as went over all my options from trimming the palm to cutting it down. We decided it was best to cut it down to avoid potential future issues and we set another appointment for removal. The crew of 5 showed up and were just as kind and professional. They did a fantastic job setting up, cutting the palm down and cleaned up the front and back of our areas. They were also courteous to our neighbors and cleaned up any surrounding areas. We marveled on how fast they did the job with details all taken care of with first class service. They definitely lived up to their name. Good folks who care about the quality of work they do. Don't hesitate to call if you want prompt and reliable service! They will be my go to company for any future needs. Thank you "First Class Tree Service" all of you were fantastic! read more

Did an excellent job. Took care of my palms and they were even able to get to my job sooner than expected.

Amazing company!!! Very punctual. Jose was extremely friendly, priced matched and came the same day to do the job. All the gentlemen that came to my house were friendly and professional. They were all wearing a mask. I had 3 stumps that needed to be removed and they did an excellent job, left my yard clean. Most definitely will be doing business with them again!! read more

Great customer service and communication. Timely work and attentive care. The crew made sure that nothing was damaged, and our yard was left clean. Their prices are fair and they stick to their quote. Jose and the crew know what they are doing and, in my experience, always exceed my expectations. We have had them take care of our trees for many years and plan to use them for years to come. read more

First-class tree service has always done an amazing job for my clients. They are professional, on time, and always wanting to make the customer happy. We had one property where some good chips were left behind and I wanted it cleaned up a bit more. Eduardo their all-star employee said no problem and we will make it right. He was back at the property within 30 minutes and made it right. I really respect that! The trees look awesome now and no more problem trees by the foundation. read more

So impressed by the excellent service, fantastic tree trimming work and friendly crew at First Class Tree Service. From initial estimate to final payment, every aspect of the job was seamless and professional. We had Jose and team cut 2 palms, 2 ambers, an ash, 1 sago palm, and clean up some trees along our fence. Pricing was fair and they cleaned everything up. I highly recommend them and will use them for our tree trimming needs again. read more

Saw them working at a neighbors house and asked them to come over and give us a quote for some work. It took a little while for them to schedule a time to come out but I know they are very busy, and that's because they do amazing work! Very quick, friendly, and reasonably priced. They did so well on the removal and trimming of some trees we asked them to take some more out while they were here and they were more than happy to do the extra work. Call them, you won't regret it! read more

There are no words to express my gratitude to these two amazing guys! I requested Approx 10 quotes from local tree removal companies to have a massive pine removed from my Mom's front yard. I knew it was going to be costly BUT First Class Tree service made it possible financially for us to have this done. They showed up on a sat morning and less than 4 hours later, the beast was gone. Their work was impeccable and they hauled it all away! I'll forever be grateful to these two and highly recommend them to everyone! Job well done. guys. Thank you so much!!!! read more

Jose responded right away and set up a time to come out for an estimate. He provided us with the best estimate for cleaning up 3 palm trees that were years overdue for trimming. He and his dad are so friendly, easy to talk to, and eager to make sure you are happy with the job. One of the palm trees had dropped a ton of branches into another tree below it over the months we have avoided addressing this issue and Jose and his dad made sure to clean up everything. I'd recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again! read more

Showed up . Did a great job. Cleaned up well. Eduardo is a dynamo and no nonsense. Thanks First Class

I sadly had to remove a very large ficus tree from our back yard, because of invasive roots, and I found First Class Tree Service on yelp. Based on the great reviews, I called them and Jose returned my inquiry soon after. Jose came to see the tree and while at my house, I asked about trimming a palm in our front yard, and he quoted a very reasonable price to remove the ficus, including stump grinding, and trimming the palm. I booked a date, only having to change the date, and Jose accommodated easily. Before they came, my husband and I opted to remove that palm, and after a call, Jose quickly gave me a new, again reasonable price, and we booked that service, too. The guys came out, removed both trees on the date, and at the time they said. Both trees were gone, with stumps ground in about 4 hours. They cleaned up the work site, and I was very pleased with their professionalism and kindness. They even left us 2 sections of the ficus stump, at the request of my boys, because we're all sad the tree had to go. (My husband wasn't too pleased....) I very much recommend this company. read more

José Sr. and José Jr. Of First Class Tree Services Just completed full tree removal, stump grinding and tree shaping and trimming in just a few hours. They came immediately to give me a quote, worked me into their schedule within a few days and left my yard clean and sunny. Their expertise was most helpful regarding some of my other trees. I'll be using them again! Thanks Josés! read more

We have 3 Queen Palms on the sidewalk median in front of our house. This time of year they develop and drop fruit, which becomes quite a mess and a hazard for people walking. The fronds also become unruly and in our case, when left untrimmed for too long, die, droop, and hang there...impossible to remove. The trees have grown to the point where I can no longer trim them myself. So I sent a text to First Class asking for a quote. They came by while I was a work, got back to me within a day, and had the trees trimmed few days later. Their work was impeccable, as was their cleanup. I've used other services in the past, but First Class out performed the others, and cost less. They also seem to be much more knowledgable about how to trim these specific palms. I highly recommend them! read more

Needed some Pepper Trees removed in my yard and was contacted by First Class when i requested a quote via Yelp. They replied very quickly and got someone out there the next day to give me a quote. Super nice guys and will definitely hire again! read more

Called around for 5 quotes to have 2 large palm trees removed from my yard. Jose was prompt in responding and showed up on time to give me an estimate. Their price was the second lowest of my 5 quotes (so their pricing is very reasonable) and the service was 100% perfect. They showed up on time and removed the trees without any complications or problems. Most importantly, they left my yard looking better than when they arrived, cleaning up after themselves. Highly recommend Jose and his team for any tree services you might need. read more

These guys are terrific. My neighbor was having a giant tree removed and this company had quite the production going on outside. I went outside and spoke with Eduardo? and he talked to his guys and they were willing to remove five giant Birds of Paradise (that were as high as the telephone lines and were on my last nerve) for around $300 less than I had been quoted from other places. I had to go to work but gave cash and came home. For reasons unknown, one the of Birds of Paradise was still posted up, chilling. I called Eduardo and we had a slight disagreement about this but within 48 hours he had come back to the house to remove the last Bird. I owed him a review. Most companies would have just screwed the customer and taken the cash money. This company did not. Would recommend. read more

The whole team are very nice, professional and efficient. The price is very reasonable compared with other quotes. And they act so fast that I don't even expect them can get my tree serviced in the following day!! I 100% recommend them for any sort of tree services! They get the work done as we want and leave the place clean and neat!! read more

Was excited to potentially work with these guys since they had such great reviews. I sent and email and left a voicemail to schedule time for an estimate. They responded to my email and I received a text to set up an appointment for them to come out. We set a date but they never showed up and I didn't hear from them as to why or to set up a new time. Going to use another company that also had great reviews. read more

They were a family run business that were polite, hard working and diligent. Their equipment was first class and what you need to complete the job quickly and efficiently. Their clean up was exceptional! They left nothing behind and even went above and beyond what we asked and needed. They were generous with their time and were willing to make Changes to the job while they were there including assisting a neighbor who had a tree on a telephone wire. When the crew arrived they had members who were fluent both Spanish and English. We would Highly recommend the Higuera family to anyone who is in need of tree services. read more

First Class Tree Service came to the rescue when we needed to remove stumps left after emergency tree clearing following a storm. They responded immediately by coming for an in person visit and provided an estimate. After comparing bids, we found them to be comparable to others, but what made the difference was their fast response time and obvious knowledge of the job to be done. We would definitely recommend them and will call them again. read more
