Kickback Sunday and feeling lazy Picked up from our favorite neighborhood restaurant First Class Pizza -- large half cheese / half pepperoni with mushrooms on that perfect fresh-baked crust. Also a loaded Italian cold cuts antipasto salad and a warm Italian sandwich on the side. The aroma was amazing. The place was packed, but the wait was worth every bite. There's always room to sit and wait for your order. Enjoyed it all at home with a glass of Cult Cabernet Sauvignon wine. Delicious food + great service + my husband = the perfect evening.

Nothing impressive from this pizza shop as I ordered four different kinds. It just felt like the ingredients weren't fully cooked to have a pizza consistency. Tasted more like bread with a bunch of toppings on top that were warmed up. Got through DoorDash, but won't be repeating.

It's been a year since I've been here and the pizza still tastes great! I love their Popeye's Favorite ($14.55) and Spicy Southwestern ($15.99) speciality pizzas. I get the mini size, which comes with four slices that feeds two people perfectly. It's pricey, but both of these pizzas comes loaded with toppings and it's really filling. The people working here are always friendly and helpful. I read a few reviews here that their pizzas come out burnt. I've not had that experience before, so I'd say it's not always the case.

I go here twice a week. Every week. Same order: half extra cheese, half pepperoni. They repeat it back. They charge me for it. And nine times out of ten, the extra cheese is...not. It's giving Seinfeld car rental reservation vibes -- they know how to take the order, just not how to make the order. Last time I spoke up, they said they "get in a groove" and don't read the tickets. Funny how the pepperoni side is never a casualty. Maybe this review will get their attention. The truth? I'm too addicted to stop going. But I'm one missed extra cheese away from making them do something really annoying -- like refund me the $1.40 or remake it while I stare at them through the window. Love you. Mean it. But please, for the thousandth time: READ. THE. TICKET!

We felt like pizza but ended up getting sandwiches and I was not disappointed! Had a meatball sandwich and yes, the picture looks like a mess but that's all the yummy marinara sauce and mozzarella! The meatballs were cooked just right. Unfortunately my son didn't like his chicken parmesan but hey, he can do his own review.

Our second time ordering from First Class Pizza. Location is centrally located in the Woodbury Town Center, next to chipotle. Restaurant is decently sized with plenty of seating, both inside and outside. Although this place gets pretty packed on Friday and Saturday nights. During our first visit, we ordered a medium pizza, regular crust. Pizza was really good with my only complaint being that the crust is super thick. I feel like I was eating more bread than anything else. During our second visit, we decided to try the thin crust pizza. I found it to be just as good. I would prefer the crust be in between the deep-dish and thin crust. Service is good with friendly staff. Prices area a bit steep for pizza, but worth the price on the days you have a strong desire for carbs.

First Class Pizza really came through for us. During the Halloween rush our order was delayed and delivered to the wrong address, but they immediately owned the mistake and offered both a refund and a gift card. Their food has always been good, but this experience alone is worth a five-star review. They kept their word and turned a rough start into a genuinely positive experience.

Received a coupon online, when ordering XL pizza coupon didn't go through, I placed the online order and paid, called manager in store to adjust, he said sorry I can't do anything , you have to cancel it and reordered, I told him ,never mind the 10%off coupon since I already paid, other option was comp. Garlic bread, but he couldn't do any ... strange a manager can't make a decision, so why did you texted me a discounted coupon. I will not order from them again... many other options around.

Hello. So I've been ordering from first class pizza for about 6-7 years now. Why is it always a hit or miss? The last time I ordered a large cheese, it was fabulous hence me ordering it again last night. But this time, it was a thumbs down. The pizza was over cooked to a point where the crust on the bottom was burnt. The cheese was minimal. The cheese and the sauce covered about 30% of the pizza, thereby making the pizza pretty much all crust. When I went to pick it up it wasn't super hot even though they claimed it just came out the oven. I'm so disappointed. What can first class pizza do to gain me back as a customer because I'm thinking this was the last straw. I'm a huge pizza connoisseur so this review is not baseless but in fact a plea to make your pizzas be more consistent. read more

Generous portions, reasonable prices. You order at the counter, find a seat, and the server will bring you your food. Menu options include salad, pizza, pasta, and sandwiches. Their pizza is made with thick crust, which is my favorite (double olives please!). They serve beer and wine. I've tried their dessert pie (seasonal pumpkin spice flavor) and it was very good! Lots of large groups dine in, but I have never had an issue finding a table. I've loved every slice and will be back soon! read more

Delicious! We got a plain pepperoni and a bbq chicken they were both perfect! We also got the antipasto salad with ranch and Italian. The dressing tasted like they were made from scratch. If we HAD to be picky we would have liked a nice mozzarella on the salad instead of grated parmigiana. But overall 10/10! read more

Tried this pizza spot for the first time the other day and i have mixed feelings. The pizza was great, 10/10 I highly recommend (we got pepperoni pizza). The crust was garlicy and had flavor and there was the perfect amount of cheese, sauce, and pepperoni. However, we also got the Caesar salad and breadsticks. The Caesar salad had way too much cheese (yes too much cheese is a thing), i just felt like I couldn't actually taste the greens in my salad. And we ordered garlic breadsticks on the side with marinara Sauce and they were more cheesy and not garlicy, while they tasted ok I was just expecting more garlic in my breadsticks. I would return for the pizza alone, everything else wasn't as appealing to me. read more

Love their pizza and wings. The pizza I get is always fresh and warm and oh so tasty. The wings I got were sweet chili. It may say sweet but sure has a pleasing kick to it. Even better is if you can go for their lunch menu. It's great and worth the cost. I only wish you could get slices when it's not lunch :) read more

So, this FCP is the one in the Woodbury town center, and is much nicer and more of an establishment than a simple takeout pizza place, and the prices reflect as such. They actually have a "different oven" they said than the rest of the FCPs. And it shows. My pizza wasn't great. The chicken was chewy and not grilled or seasoned, the crust was odd, and the pizza just didn't pack the spicy punch I expected. When I ordered this SAME pizza from the Tustin location, it was the BEST pizza I've ever had. And it was like $4 cheaper! Their small size is the price of the mini size at this location. So overall, just go to FCP in Tustin (down the road from the Tustin Town Center or whatever it's called) and get yo'self a bomb ass pizza. It's literally 8min away from here read more

I'm actually a big fan of First Class Pizza and regularly order from this location. Today I'm disappointed to say the very least. I call in advance to see if my order was ready for pick up for a contactless order and they said it was...then changed their minds and I had to wait 10 min in the parking lot. After I get the order I drive 5 min home. You'd think the pizza would be piping hot when you bring it home. But no. It was cold. And I live 5 min away! What gives??? They had me wait in the parking lot longer after claiming it was done and when I bring it home it was cold. read more

First class pizza the name speaks for itself. First time here and wont be my last. Drove by and saw the sign for the lunch speicals. Got lunch combo #1 came with HUGE slice and salad and a drink for under 10 bucks. Eating it i felt guilty cause you can taste the real fresh ingredients. And im thinking to myself this is so fresh all this for under 10 bucks how do they make money lol. Soda nice and carbonated. Very friendly empolyeess Best pizza in town !!! read more

Review for pick-up order experience.... The Pizza: Hands down the best pizza I've had in California. We got the buffalo chicken pizza and a basic pepperoni. They are generous with the toppings making it very filling. Two slices and I was done (plenty of left overs :) The crust wasn't greasy and toppings tasted like good quality. The left over slices actually tasted better when reheated on a pan. Nice crunchy crust. Ordering: I placed an order for two pizzas and they couldn't have been kinder. They said it would be ready in 20 minutes; perfect since I live about 5 minutes away. Picking Up: I walked into and spoke to the person at the register and they quickly grabbed my order after taking my name. Zero confusion, seems like they have a good ordering system. The Restaurant: There was plenty of open seating when I went on Saturday around 7:30 pm. Overall Experience: Great pizza and an easy pick-up process. Would totally recommend First Class Pizza for you next pizza fix. Can't wait to try more of their offerings. Meatball or Hawaiian next!? Update: Tried the Meatball and it gave me and others stomach pain. I'm guessing it was because it was overloaded with cheese. Avoid the Meatball if you're sensitive to grease/cheese. read more

First class is a go-to whenever we have people over. We usually order a couple pizzas for pick up. They are generous when the toppings, and the quality is good! Employees are friendly, and the service is good. Basilicious was really good! Sweet pig - Hawaiian pizza Popeye's - loaded with toppings! This place is the best. We got the buffalo chicken and a pepperoni pizza and loved both, but the buffalo chicken was the star. It was piled high with toppings, the ranch on top was amazing, and the flavors were just so good. Best part was the crust (it's incredible), and how neither were greasy at ALL. The pizza is pricey (over $20 for a large) but it's so filling and the ingredients are so good that it's worth it. We will be coming back again and again. read more

I went to dinner with a date and sat at the bar feeling completely safe. Within 5 minutes, the manager Tim (along with a silent individual) approached me and asked to speak with me outside where he asked me to leave the property. I explained to him the I received an apology and an invite to come back from NI on Yelp. He claimed that the response was a corp form letter response and there was no intent behind the words. I don't know who I'm more embarrassed for, me or Tim the manager at North italia. I explained to him that the apology and the invite was very customized because it identified exactly what I had to eat that evening. His response was for me to leave the premises, which I did. You can decide whether to patronage this type of organization which practices strategic schizophrenia. I have since identified an exciting authentic Italian place in Costa Mesa (Red Room). Ask for Dominico (the owner). I guarantee you he'll ensure that you have a wonderful experience. Oh, and no extra charge for serving the food hot.

I recently had an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience at First Class Pizza. I had high hopes, but those were quickly dashed by the abysmal service and unprofessional staff. First, I placed my order and expected a reasonable wait time. However, after waiting for an excruciating hour and fifteen minutes, there was still no sign of my pizza. Not once did anyone from the staff bother to inform me about the delay or provide any updates. It felt like I was being completely ignored, and my presence as a customer did not matter at all. When I finally approached the staff to inquire about my order, I was shocked by their rude and dismissive attitude. Instead of apologizing for the delay, they acted as if I was the problem for asking. Their unprofessionalism was astounding, making an already bad situation even worse. To top it all off, the pizza, when it eventually arrived, was mediocre at best. After such a long wait and terrible service, I expected at least a decent meal, but even that was a letdown. It was clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority for First Class Pizza. I cannot stress enough how terrible my experience was. The lack of communication, the rude staff, and the subpar food all contribute to this being one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place. Save your time, money, and patience by choosing a different pizzeria. First Class Pizza is anything but first class. read more

I am a big fan of the pepperoni pizza. It is really tasty. They use premium pepperoni not the cheap stuff that they use a lot of time at Domino's. I mean I do not mind the cheap stuff sometimes but every once in awhile you and your family really want to enjoy a high quality pizza pie the mozzarella cheese they use on these pizzas is absolutely delicious. It is so good and it tastes like premium high quality mozzarella. I love the sauce that they put on the pizza as well. Definitely first class! Great Pizza and other Italian food.. The pizza though is hard to pass up. Some of most famous pizza around. The people there are great and service wonderful. Great drinks and beer on tap. It really has a comfy feel to it and as a local I love it but I can tell that people passing through come and enjoy it as well. I recommend if in town to try this place. As a pizza connoisseur I take my fine Italian heritage foods very seriously. Unfortunately, First class pizza was not able to meet my detailed requirements. I was having quite the internal conflict sitting down as I was sampling my meal. The sauce was not filled with enough love to give me that OOMPF that every first bite of pizza should give. This location is our favorite when we go out for pizza. We often end up here after our son's sporting events and have never been disappointed. The staff are always friendly, especially the older gentlemen that often works the front counter. I believe he is the manager. The pizza always comes out hot and taste delicious. We ordered a well done combo, after 45 min it came to our table pretty much uncooked. They asked us if we wanted it to be more cooked we said yes. We waited another 15 min and the pizza was terrible, still uncooked, the crust was soggy and there was no sauce or enough cheese. Overall a terrible experience. Our family gets pizza from here more than we should because it's very good! If you're on a diet of any type, do not get pizza here because they are loaded with toppings.
