    They only take cash
    Amber T.

After not being able to be consistent with getting pedicures because of the pandemic, I thought I would call Andy and get one. I made an appointment for a pedicure and it came out beautiful! They do allow walk-ins but it might be better for you to call ahead for an appointment. They have a large color selection to choose from and at this time are only taking cash for payment. Dena did my eyebrows and they came out beautiful as well! Overall, great service, great location and great price!

    Proof of job

In one week nails started losing tip Color and now are coming off. Texted Tina picture but no response.

Nails weren't filed and are very uneven. I'd rather had had then cut down to make even than them look this way

This is the actual worst nail place I've ever been to. It may have just been the individual who did my nails, but I'm definitely never going back. My nail technician RUSHED. He took off my gel overlay in a very painful way, didn't file my nails, and rushed on the paint (I did dip powder on my natural nails) job. I left with terribly uneven nails. My technician also continued to pause and leave every once in a while when doing my nails. There was no care taken, and the job was very bad. I really hate giving bad reviews, but I wouldn't want anyone to go to a place that gives bad service.

My (fixed) toes thanks to Tina!

Tina took fantastic care of my toes! After she finished I went to the 99 cent store a few places down and accidentally messed up the paint on 2 of the nails. I went back and she fixed them up for me without even a question. I'll definitely be coming back!

This is what manicure looked like the morning after it was done. Polish diluted, most likely with oil, tacky cuticle job.

Came here unexpectedly because the other place I go to was closed. Walked in, and was alarmed by the very strong, toxic fumes that clouded the shop. Took awhile for the nail techs staring at me to ask me what I wanted. However, I was pleased with the relatively short wait. Sat in the chair and the two ladies working on me immediately started trying to up sale me on services. I wanted a paraffin treatment for my pedicure, but they don't offer paraffin, so I asked what the cooling gel treatment was. The lady said they don't have that either, even though it's on the menu. She then TOLD me I was going to get a sea salt scrub and callus remover for and extra $10. I said I just wanted the scrub and she continued to try to up sale me on the callus remover too. Moving forward, I noticed the lady was scrubbing my feet with a very used loofah. There was no product on it so I assumed this was the basic treatment that always comes with a pedicure. As she was finishing, I said, "Did you use the sea salt scrub?" She said no, "We don't have any", then quickly changed her statement to, "No, you asked for callus remover." No I didn't, I specifically asked for the sea salt scrub, that was the first $5 ripoff. Lady had no comment about the error, said thank you and was done. The other lady who did my manicure tried to up sale me on a nail buffer that's supposed to make the polish "last longer". No need for that, as regular polish chips in 3-4 days anyway. She insisted that my polish was not going to last...I already know that, but what I didn't expect was to have my polish chipped in less than 12 hours! My manicure looked 3 days old overnight night(see pic). That's when I noticed that the polish was very oily. They probably add a drop of oil to the polish so that it will chip quicker and have customers coming back overnight for a polish change, and next time, you'll assume you need to add that nail buffer service...shady practice. When it came time to pay & tip, the manicure lady was not please with the tip because she wanted an even amount to split with the other lady. I evened the tip, to which she replied, "You're a smart lady, make tip even." Lastly, when I got home, I noticed the polish on my big toe was clumpy. I took a closer look and saw that the pedicure lady left cuticle particles between my toe and polished over it! Smh. This is the first time ever that I would warn anyone, DO NOT, pay for services and provide a tip until everything is complete and to your satisfaction. Oh, and consider wearing a medical mask over your nose and mouth to protect yourself from the fumes.

    What is this...disgusting.

Today 09/02/17 I walked in to receive a full set and pedicure. Wendy who did my toes was great, then I went to get my full set by sue-something. Started off fine. As things proceeded I realized my nails were crooked and she said "it was because my fingers are crooked, and can not help you were born that way." I said "really you're rude." I never had a problem before. She said "it's too early in the morning for this." It was 15 mins to 11am. I use to frequently this location years ago, I decided to go back after all they are down the street and use to do great work. If I decided to go back Only for Wendy, she was the only one who asked was I okay and offer to give service.

Full set done by ken Henry (don't mind my pj pants lol)
    Danni R.

Ken-Henry (there's two Henry's) is the best! I really have never gotten such a perfect full set. The shop is very welcoming and I believe it can get busy so it's best to call and make an appointment. There are TWO first class nails one in the front near the 99 cent store. The other one is the same owner and the entrance is in the back Ken Henry works in the front location* Parking for nail shop guest is not limited even though the signs say only 15/30 min Really happy to have found this place will be coming back soon

    my poka-dot toes
    Michelle P.

Lately, people have seen me with my toenails painted in red with white poka dots or black with white poka dots. I've had so many compliments that I thought I should write a review about the place (First Class) and lovely lady (Julie) who make my feet (despite the fact that they are JACKED up from ballroom dance lessons and high heals) look brand spanking new and almost edible. My only fear is when a place becomes too well known, I might not get served so easily. But, I have to share the wealth... This place is just minutes from where I live. You have to enter from the back parking lot behind the Von's area of the strip mall, but there is plenty of FREE parking!!! While it's best to call ahead if you want an appointment with someone specific, it's fine just to walk in and they attend to you almost immediately. For a $2 charge, you can pay using a credit card, the have reasonable prices, sleek new spa chairs, tons of designs for those of you who see nail art as an extension of beauty accessories, callous remover that is the BOMB, and even waxing available. I go at least once a month or every few weeks. I highly recommend them. (I will also post a photo of my poka-dot toenails while watching a dodger game on TV last weekend)

Does this shit look done!?! Yesterday and garbage!!

I was nearly up for a free pedicure that they offer on their business cards. I spoke with Moon and scheduled this appointment. When I arrived, I spoke with Tony who is the receptionist who is very rude, nasty, unprofessional and does not give customer service. He was telling me, I could not get my nails done. Moon then began to speak with him in their language. Johnnie than began to do my nails at 12:30pm. When you ask for something specific, they will add other things that you did not ask for and will charge you. For an example, I specifically asked for acrylic nail fill and then Johnnie added gel on my nails without my request and charged me $60.00. I walked out of there with my nails looking beautiful but within that same week, they were chipping and lifting! After he finished, I then waited to get my pedicure, and I did not get my pedicure until waiting one hour later. They were allowing walking customers go ahead of me. A white man came in, and he took him immediately. I continued to wait patiently because I had an event to go to. I stated to a woman I was talking to that I have to find a woman of color to patronize and give my money to, because these vietnamese people do not appreciate us. They just want our money! We keep them in business and put food on their tables and pay their bills! No customers no business! I am going to recommend DeMilo's DeMilo's. Her ig is demiloshouseofnails. She is located on 43rd and Crenshaw. She offers all type of unique services. She is reasonable and gives excellent service with beautiful nails, quality work and has quality products. There are too many nail shops in Los Angeles to take this type of behavior from anyone! I would not leave a star if I was able to! These vietnamese nail shops never give anything to their customers for being loyal. A diamond stud just to say thank! Those can be purchased for 1,000 pcs and cost 1.00 per pack.

He did uneven shapes on my nails- horrible job. The pedicure was completely rushed and looked terrible. Two days later, two of my nails popped off. What a waste of $115. Plus, they had the nerve to complain about wanting a bigger tip! Never again--this was my first and last time.

The first time, I had an appointment and had to wait for 45 minutes before the nail tech I booked with can begin working on me. The second time, I was assured I wouldn't have to wait and would be seen right away. I still had to wait 20 minutes. This final time, I called and asked for an appointment time when the nail tech was actually open and available. I stressed the fact that I could not wait. They assured me she would be available. I show up at said time, and was asked to wait next to booth where she was working. I can see she was still working on a full set. The owner then told me she was just polishing, even though I could see she was not ready to polish yet. I was asked to wait. She then tried to get someone else to do my nails. But I am very picky, so I knew this would be a bad idea. I ended up leaving before I wasted another 30 minutes of my life. Overall, they do a decent job. But if you are in a time crunch and make appointments expecting to be seen on time, expect to be disappointed. This is not good place for people who value appointment times and being on time.

I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.
