Love this place! Great nail techs, easy to make appointments via text, cool music great customer service and the pedicures are heavenly I personally love the organic scrub they use! I also purchased an oil for my cuticles that's made in house - it has a nice light smell, it's easy to throw in my purse and use on the go while I'm out and about! My gel mani and pedi typically last two to three weeks and I love the color choices. Free and easy parking. FYI They offer waxing .. I got my armpits waxed here and it was quick and clean.. I also got a dry mani when I was in a hurry which was convenient..
The interior design is cute - rustic chic furniture arranged in the center of the room. I was offered a drink when I sat down - was told they had mimosas but was given champagne (not really complaining about that!). They have a good selection of colors and high-quality polishes including a lot of gel. I was there during the day on a weekday and was the only customer there. Strangely, there was no music playing so it was super quiet. There was a dog in a crate in the corner but I didn't notice until it barked just once. My technician, Miley, was very nice and worked quickly. I had a gel manicure that was okay. Some sides weren't covered completely and they were shorter than I prefer. I was nipped on one of my cuticles which is a tiny scab a few days later. I've had some great hand and foot massages with basic services at other salons but here, it was pretty minimal. Overall, this was okay for the price!

And definitely becoming a regular :) I had such a great experience with Kiersten (owner and manicurist) she did such a great job from shaping, removing cuticles to applying my gel polish. She was very patient and allowed me to come in right before she was closing her shop! (This is an appointment only nail salon, however, she mentioned she sometimes takes walk ins) I got lucky ! The vibe and atmosphere in this salon is very relaxing and has great calm vibes. She plays great music and her decor is just amazing. I am a nailll freak.....I wanted to like this place! Youthful, great music and fun! However, I received a 50 dollar Gel and pedicure on Sunday, June 28th. And I write this review on July 3rd. I enjoyed the services. Initially. The techs are amazing. Within four days, the GEL on my nails started chipping and peeling. I call, speak to who I assume is one of the owners. Cool. Make ANOTHER appointment. I show up EARLY. Okay, Yes, I have a reckless sense of humor. Stays getting me in trouble. I make a joke about the condition of my nails to the chick who knew the entire situation. The owner looks at the CUSTOMER (ME) who just paid YOU and your techs very well. And says-"We don't need this type of energy in here"...Blank stare, side ways neck roll and the "Ohhhhh hell nah" face off ensued. She asks me to sit down and she'd "take care" of me. I'm hot as fish grease at this point. Boiling, its enough that I had to come up here again four days after I sat in your spa for two hours. Needless to say, I graciously found my way to my car. I don't care for a service from an establishment who makes anyone feel out of place. YOU should be the one profusely apologetic to your customer. Meh. Can't win them all. I am good. On to the next.
I have finally found a salon that I can keep going to again & again!! I was happy & comfortable from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. 1.) The salon itself is very unique - modern & cool...open & calming. 2.) The diverse group of beautiful ladies that work there are extremely friendly & easy to get along with. 3.) They offer mani, pedis, waxing and massages. TIPS/KUDOS: Make an appointment...seems like they like to keep it not crowded...which definitely gives it a more relaxing feel! Complimentary mimosas, water or tea. Loyalty card given-after 10 visits you get a free mani.
What a hidden gem! If you're looking to get your nails done, this place is located right next to the Chinese restaurant and behind the liquor store. I happened to find this place on Yelp and it's only a 3 minute walk from work. They've been open for 9 months and have been doing fairly well from what I've heard through my nail tech. Pros: Parking is convenient and plentiful. Decor is modern and inviting (rustic feel). Tons of options for your nail color needs. All the nail techs are sweet and approachable. Loyalty cards granted. COMPLIMENTARY MIMOSAS. Cons: More pricey than the other nails shops I go to. Still reasonable. No other cons for now. It's my first time here so I have to come back more to judge the quality.
I decided to try a different black owned nail salon since my nail tech is on maternity leave. This location has been open for 2 years which is a huge accomplishment. I was impressed by the ambiance; cute spa chairs (not massage accessible), a variety of colors (regular and gel), and I think they offer drinks as well. However, I wasn't offered any. I loved my manicurist Zanna, she did a beautiful job, 20+ experience, very talented and detailed. The prices are kind of high compared to what I'm used to but the experience was worth it (my mani/pedi was $36).
Kierstin and Shayla are true business women who love what they do! Super friendly and fun to chat w while getting your nails done. I had the pleasure of meeting these ladies at the WeWork in Culver City which they do a pop up at every two weeks. They even told me they also do other WeWork locations. Talk about right to your door service! Even better it's at your workplace. Really awesome to relax for an hr as a lunch break and pamper yourself. I think I found my new nail shop/pop up. Thank you so much! See you again in two weeks!
When I first walked in I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is so relaxing and inviting. I was greeted by the friendly owner who offered me a mimosa or free water while I waited for my appointment. Fast forward 25 minutes later, and I was still patiently waiting for my mani/pedi appointment. The staff as extremely attentive and apologized multiple times for the back up. They offered me 50% off my pedi and a complimentary neck and shoulder massage (which was AMAZING)! That kind of customer service is extremely hard to come by. My pedicure and gel mani turned out perfect! The work the staff does is beautiful, and you can tell they all put lots of love into everything they do. I was so impressed! Since I live less than 5 minutes away, I will definitely be back very soon :) Keep up the great work, ladies!

I absolutely LOVE this nail salon! Yesterday I was on Yelp looking for a salon near my home and was lucky enough to find them. After reading the reviews, I called and was able to get a same day appointment. My Mani/Pedi was beautiful. Kiersten's Mani was picture perfect. The BEST I ever had. Kiersten and her Mom (owners) including the staff was very welcoming and super friendly. See you in two weeks! * the nail salon is near the CVS located in the shopping center across the street from Westfield Culver City (aka Fox Hills Mall). Plenty of free parking.
OK so I got my nails done on Saturday, May 2nd. On May 5th the nail I mentioned to the lady at the shop HAS BROKEN!! Remember she said the gel would keep the nail together.
Awesome place. I love how spacious the place is. I was lucky to get an appointment by dropping in but usually an appointment is required. I got a normal manu for $18. Great shaping and color application. Will be back. Plenty of parking available during the day.

I was looking for a nail salon that was affordable in the area. Looking at the pictures on yelp, I thought that NAILD was a cute & hip shop super close to my place. It's a small shop located in the same complex as Marshals and CVS so there is lots of parking. The shop is appointment only so make sure to make one in advance! I was able to text them and got a reply really quickly. When I walked in, there were already three customers getting their nails done, so they seemed confused as to why I was there. I was a little sad because in past reviews it said they offer you mimosas, champagne, or tea, and I wasn't asked for a drink. Not a deal breaker, but I had expectations from previous reviews. They offer tons of different services, but I opted for the Treat Yo Self mani pedi which is $53, $64 with tip. The salon itself is clean, and the decor is cute and minimal. They have pictures on the wall with cute quotes, and the chairs are wooden seats. They bring water basins to your seat if you're getting a pedicure which was very cute! Taylor did my feet, while Maile joined later to do my nails. The Treat Yo Self Mani comes with a homemade lemon scrub and massage. My feet were really dry, so I hoped they would get off all the dead skin. I love the shape of my nails, and they did spend a lot of time massaging and cleaning. However, I think that it wasn't worth the $53. I'd rather opt for the regular mani pedi for $40 instead. They have a $3 credit card/debit card charge, but they waived the fee for me since it was my first time! Overall a good experience, I'd be back for the basic services. They also have a stamp card, once you fill it up you can get a free manicure or half off gel nails. read more
I absolutely love this nail spa! It's quite different from anything I've ever experienced and far from the standard. It's very spacious with an industrial style flooring. They have large individual chairs with plenty of space from other customers so you can enjoy a real personal experience. They offer you complimentary herbal tea or a mimosa, which is a great compliment to an already relaxing experience. The music is bomb! Super chill soul & neo soul music, which adds to the cool, down-to-earth vibes. The owners are a mother/daughter duo, Kat & Kirsten. They are very nice and professional as is the rest of the team. They have a large selection of quality colors, and they offer deluxe mani and pedicures that include this amazing custom made lemon sugar scrub. Apparently my usual go-to place has closed down without any notice to those of who have been loyal clients for years. Thankfully I have been to Nail'd a few times before and was able to get in yesterday for a Gel mani and Deluxe pedi. As usual they were timely, friendly efficient and my nails look great! I've found my new go-to spot and their prices are right on point as well! read more

This shop was reallly nice. I found them on yelp and then texted for an appointment and had one made the same day. The shop was very clean and they have tons of regular and gel colors. I was coming to get my acrylics taken off, which took over an hour to soak off, and then my gel manicure was finished. I will be going back. read more

Decent spot. Cool interior with wide armed chairs (they don't recline) but was expecting a much warmer welcome based on previous reviews. I had to ask for water. The whole pedicure felt rushed and even hit a few tender spots cutting cuticles which made me cringe but my gal barely paused - just powered through. From a sanitary perspective I didn't like that at the end of my manicure she had me sitting bare feet on the woven Matt things they use - should have been covered with a towel. Toes look good though. And they have a ton of gel and other cookouts to choose from. read more

Great atmosphere and so relaxing. The nail technicians are so attentive and knowledgeable as well. I like that it is so clean, nice set up and close to me. The prices are more than reasonable too. The owner is so nice, she goes out of her way to give you a great experience at her spa. read more

It's two reasons I'm not giving Nail'd 5 stars. 1. I got a regular pedicure and a gel manicure and it took 2 hours. 2. There was a dog in there The two reasons I mentioned will not keep me from going back. I booked my next appointment prior to me leaving. The service I received was excellent and the dog didn't bark, jump on me or run around the shop. I'm just not a fan of dogs in malls, salons and even grocery stores unless it's a seeing eye dog. It wasn't crowded and I like that it is appointment only. I was greeted and offered a variety beverages including a mimosa. The music playing was at a good selection and at a nice volume and I was able to relax. My sole reason for going was because it was black owned. I was actually looking for a place that had competitive prices with Asians and although this wasn't the place, they are very detailed in the care of your hands and feet. The money is well spent. Quality of nail care is more important than cheapest price to me. I like that they have compartments on the side of the chairs so your purse or shoes just aren't on the floor or hanging on the back of the chair. They also sent a text confirming my appointment and the services I wanted and when I got there and said my name she knew exactly what I wanted. This isn't a place to go get a mani/pedi if you have to be in and out in 45m-1hr but it is definitely worth your time and money. read more

Came to Culver City for a training and stopped by this nail salon by chance. Definitely the best experience I have ever had at a nail salon. Let's start with the decor....fresh, modern and sexy. The staff is polite and professional. They make you feel comfortable and take their time when providing you service. You can actually relax and enjoy the pampering because no one is pushing you extra services. I really enjoyed coming here and I recommend it to anyone that is in the area and if you are far and willing to take a trip you need to stop by. Best "mani" ever! I just went in just for a gel color change, so I wasn't expecting half as much attention as I got today. The woman painting my nails took her time to make sure each nail were done perfectly. She did light shaping and cleaning my cuticles (which again I didn't expect since I wasn't going in for a regular manicure), she also rubbed my hands with oil. If this was just a color change treatment, I will definitely go back for a full mani/pedi! No rush, super clean and hot tea with honey too. $20 and a got the best "gel color change" ever. read more

Everyone that knows me knows I'm huge on pedicures/manicures and I'm usually not very harsh with reviews but this business just did it for me. It is a very nice nail salon with good quality nail polishes and alcoholic beverages while you are getting your manicure/pedicure. Which is awesome for a tired mommy. My review is based only on technician who did my pedicure. She cut my nails too short, she shaped them to her liking, and she barely touched my feet. I can still see the dead cuticle she could have clipped on my toes. When I asked her if she could fix it she ignored me. I would love to return to this establishment but unfortunately I will not. I can and will make the drive to a different nail shop that will take their time and actually care to please their NEW customers. Sucks because I think it's a super stylish shop! read more

Gentle and relaxing pedicure. Minimalist style. Sunshine was great! She offered me a glass of wine and gave a great massage. I was only here long enough for a pedicure and was lucky they had cancellations as I was a walk-in. I will certainly make it a point to come back next time I'm in the area. read more

The ambience was very relaxing, but the service was not too spectacular. The owner was and her daughter were very nice, but the women actually performing the services were unpleasant. I got a vibe from them as if they did not want to be there. All the employees seem new to doing the services so if your looking for a quick job that wont be done there. Also the prices are a little on the expensive side to say there is not a foot spa or a massage chair in site. Oh yea its $3 extra if you do not have cash read more
