Since we were visiting during Oktoberfest, we decided to try the Jäger Schnitzel, and it was absolutely delicious! The portion was generous and easily big enough to split between two people. For dessert, we ordered the peach cobbler, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it may have been the best I've ever had! The warm peaches, crunchy crumb topping, and scoop of vanilla ice cream were an absolutely heavenly combination. I'm still thinking about it! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our first visit even better. If you're looking for a laid-back, classic beer parlor atmosphere with delicious food and great service, this is the place to go. Whether you're a local or just visiting Savannah, I highly recommend stopping by

My husband and I stopped by Sunday for lunch. The hostess was nice, got sat immediately, our waitress was nice and helped us decide on some gluten free options. They had lots of drink options, we both got a cider. They were ok. The food however, I don't get the hype. The crab dip was basically just cream cheese - wayyyyy too creamy, we couldn't finish it. Portions are huge too. The burger, dry and crumbly. No sauce. It was underwhelming and I wouldn't recommend. Now that we've been, probably won't be back. Inside was clean and they have their own parking lot which is a plus though.

The burgers are cooked fresh to order, and the taste is unbelievable. The burgers are a little more expensive when compared to other local food trucks, but the taste is worth the price increase. You can order online for pickup while you're seated at Two Tides sipping their amazing sour beers, which is such a great setup. The patty was nice and crispy, flat, and well seasoned, and the Crispi sauce really makes the whole thing. That said, my patty melt had a few misses: the bun could've been toasted more, there was way too much sauce (it was practically drowning in it), and my patty didn't even cover the bun. The onions also needed to be caramelized more. The potato stix on top gave it a nice crunch though, and overall I still enjoyed it. They offer a gluten free bun for +$2, which was a nice option -- quality, soft bun, and both my husband and I got our burgers on it. His double patty was even better than mine, with tons of meat. We were both stuffed by the end. Overall a solid stop if you're at Two Tides -- would go back and probably ask for less sauce next time.

These are a must try if you like wings. Chicken and pancake tacos were delicious. Pancakes had a touch of sweetness. Fried chicken inside with a spicy mayo. Topped with a strawberry salsa that worked well. 3 of these were very filling. Fun and very good. Son had the double wide footlong. Topped with sloppy Joe. After that the 2 sides were different. One had fried banana peppers. The other side more classic with toppings. Son said it was really good. Others had the ahi tuna salad. Tuna was perfectly rare. Salad was good and the wasabi dressing had great flavor without being too spicy. Service was quick even though jam packed. Also very friendly.

The whole place is designed to feel like the inside of a trailer--spray-painted antique chandeliers, old pictures of different trailer parks, and random little details everywhere. It's kitschy, but very intentional, and honestly pretty cool. We came in late after a 4h drive into town after work, and the staff was still super friendly and accommodating. No "we're about to close" energy, which I appreciated. We started with the creamy collard dip, which is basically their take on spinach-artichoke dip, but with collards. Really good. I do think the chips were a little too heavy for the dip--a thinner chip would've been perfect--but that's a small note. The chicken pancake tacos were probably my favorite. The chicken was fried perfectly and still really moist. And at this point, I'm convinced Savannah just knows how to cook chicken. Everywhere we went, the chicken was consistently good. My partner got the grilled apple pie sandwich, which has fried chicken, grilled apples and bacon. He's not even a big pork person, but that bacon was so crispy and the whole combination just worked. Even the waffle fries were good--crispy, fresh and actually seasoned. We had the Grateful Dead and Wicked Kiwi cocktails, plus a couple of shots, and the drinks were strong, good and reasonably priced. Honestly, I don't have a ton of notes here. It's not trying to be some elevated dining experience. It's just a really good late-night spot with good food, strong drinks, friendly service and a fun atmosphere. We sat inside because Savannah in August was not about to have us sitting on anybody's patio. Definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for somewhere to eat late. It was a vibe, the food was good, and it did exactly what it needed to do.
