We liked not only his professionalism but his honesty. He laid out the cost for everything carefully, and we found great products to choose from for our. Much anticipated remodeling.   As the work started Francisco was very hands on, answered all our questions, and was open to a couple of changes. I just used First Choice Cabinets to install Luxury Vinyl Planks for the second time, Francisco the owner is a great guy, very honest and very easy to work with, he's a man of his word. I got a few quotes and FCC's quote was very competitive, he didn't just quote the cheapest material to make his price look good, he took time to help me understand the different qualities to choose from to fit my budget. This review is way overdue. In March 2023, I discovered I had water damage from a leaking pipe in my kitchen. The entire kitchen had to be remodeled - floors, cabinets, personal property, etc. It was stressful, and when it came to redoing our kitchen, my husband and I decided we wanted to change the color scheme. We opted for black, white, and a touch of gold. We contacted Francisco and Domitilia; they visited our home as the construction was ongoing. Our contractor and Francisco spoke and collaborated on custom measurements and cabinets. I also went to his office in Whittier to review the material; he was accommodating and ensured everything was to my liking. Before moving forward, they provided us with a 3D sketch of the plan and how it would look. He made adjustments accordingly, and we decided also to have him do our laundry area. Our space is small, and we wanted to maximize it, so measurements were vital. Nonetheless, it's been a few months, and I am pleased with the outcome. Everything is exactly how I wanted, and our guests are constantly impressed with our new upgrades. I would recommend First Choice to all my friends. Francisco designed my kitchen the way My wife and I visualized it. He provided great samples of flooring and counter tops and got the ball rolling. The initial project was going to take 3-4 weeks but ended up being 5 1/5 weeks. (I'm a construction worker and trust me deadlines always go over which can be frustrating but the overall outcome is what matters). Overall I was thrilled with the flooring, demo of wall, and remodeling of kitchen with cabinets and new appliances. Francisco's Staff: Lety Francisco's assistant is amazing, I'd advise anyone to deal straight with Lety when making an appointment. Francisco is so busy that it's better to contact his assistant/office personal. The only reason why I gave a 4.5 and not 5 is because Francisco would tell me someone was coming over to work, and no one would show. We could go 3 days with a no show but it wasn't really a deal breaker. Francisco is amazing but he is really busy and sometimes forgets to call you to let you know he can't make it (this is why you contact Lety). Ofelia: she is a hard worker and does an amazing job installing floors and base boards. She also did all the demo in the house which she did in 2 days. She is an amazing worker and keeps really busy. He did a quality job for a quality price. He also installed all our appliances and did a crisp clean job. Cabinet installers: I didn't get his cabinet installers names but that crew was quick and put up the cabinets in two days. The quality of cabinets are amazing especially with the shaker style. Countertop installers: amazing guys, he finished quick and added a beautiful waterfall peninsula. These guys worked great. Francisco: like I said he is amazing and passionate, the only issue was that he would forget to call you when he was too busy to meet you. For me it wasn't to much I'd a deal breaker but for others it can bother them. I found Francisco's business through yelp. I was shopping around for upgrading my kitchen. Thank you for all previous reviewers, I decided to contact give Francisco and get his quote. I compared 8 (eight) different remodeling companies, and while there are some that are cheaper than Francisco (price-wise; mostly equal or higher), I decided to move forward with Francisco. The reason I choose Francisco? He is Professional, Calm, and patient beyond words. The result? I love my kitchen, and if I would ever need to do another kitchen remodel in the future, I will definitely contact him. However, I'm not only going to say all green and rosy thing, of course as any project, it bounds to delay, and small issues here and there. I had been contacting several contractors to come out and give me a quote for new countertops and flooring. Some don't even come out and just send you a quote via email and others never even send you a quote. I found First Choice Cabinets on Facebook and to my surprise, Francisco came to my house and gave me a quote right away. He was friendly and offered suggestions.
