Bread board appetizers and a martini

Chris our server was funny and attentive. I love the openness of the dining room and the cocktails were great. We both chose the lemon chicken which was cooked perfectly with the potatoes. I would like to see them have several Different types on bread in the bread board appetizer. Every try I g else was great. We will be back!

Really enjoyable dinner for my husband and me. After a very long day of travel - marked with less than ideal snack eating - we were ready for proper food to prepare us for our next day marathon. I found Fireworks after searching for recommended Italian restaurants (surprisingly not many in the area). We ended up not ordering pasta at all, opting instead for the plank grilled salmon. It was Asian-inspired, with a miso rice cake and Brussels sprouts. Delicious and a HUGE serving!!! We also ordered a local beer. Fortunately for pumpkin lagers are on tap and loved up to the hype. This is a popular place. We didn't have reservations, but the bar had open seating and since we're in our grandparent meal era, we were able to grab a chair at 5pm without issues.

tomato cheddar soup cup with bread + butter board

Wandered into this spot as the first big snowstorm of the season was approaching, and it was perfectly snug, warm, and cozy, with food to match, for a cold traveler. We had a bread board (just all kinds of bread + butter!), and I enjoyed a tomato cheddar soup cup. Our server seemed ready to go home, but with the impending weather, that was understandable, and it was still a pleasant experience overall. I would definitely return under better circumstances and try more of the menu!

Salmon dish

I really enjoyed my visit. We had made reservations, and so were seated promptly. We both ordered the blood orangesickle mock tail minus the nutmeg and it was delicious! We ordered the baked feta with flatbread which I thought was very good. My husband had the salmon and I had the gnocchi. Both were cooked well and tasted good. I'll be honest here, the salmon comes with some sort of rice cake situation. I tried a little of it from my husbands plate and thought it was the most delicious thing served all evening. Sadly, it wasn't part of my dinner so I didn't get to eat anymore than my bite, but I highly recommend, if you like salmon, get it for the rice cake thing. We also had tres leches cake for dessert. Very yummy. If I have one complaint it's that their dessert menu is lackluster. That might be a me thing, but I just didn't like the dessert menu-the tres leches was a special. The service was good, or food came out in a timely fashion-the appetizer first, then the entrees. We arrived at 620 and left around 740, we didn't feel rushed and we didn't feel like we were waiting an unusual amount of time. Everyone we saw seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Homemade mushroom and potato soup.

I went to the fireworks restaurant next-door to my hotel in Keene, New Hampshire. I wanted a rusty nail cocktail, but they didn't have any Drambuie. The bartender said he would make something similar and it was a perfect match to what I wanted. I had the homemade mushroom and potato soup, which was delicious. I had the Osso Buco, which was wonderful and came with garlic, mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts. And I tried the apple crisp with ice cream on it and it was wonderful. I recommend this place wholeheartedly.

The bill alone will tell you how this place does business. Asking customers to pay their employees health insurance and then nickel and diming them just for asking for a very small cup of sauce without being told so. It should be the employers responsibility to pay the health benefits of their employees, not the customer's responsibility. I don't like to patronize restaurants with owners like this... if anything, this should be disclosed before hand.... Thank goodness I ordered just a pizza, imagine if I was in a group with the bill being over $100?! I will not be returning or recommending to anyone. Manager said tbe reason I was charged for a small cup of marinara is that they are just like any other business and if you want more sauce you gotta pay for it. Luckily this week I went to a different restaurant and they did not nickel and dime me for more sauce! I'll be telling people to go there!

Amazing service, I came here after a swim meet and the food was amazing. I had the bolognese and it was really good. The appetizers were also really good. Our server was really sweet and did an amazing job with giving us details about the dishes and drinks on the menu, and gave her honest opinions. I would definitely come back here.

I love meat, so this meat pizza is a perfect option. Lol!

Keene New Hampshire is one of those towns where your choices are pretty vast. It's not a big town, but it's trendy and hip and attracts people that are a lot cooler than myself. Having a daughter at the local college means semi-regular visits and semi-regular dining out opportunities. At this point, we've hit enough of the obvious options to start forming a list of "go-to" favorites. This place is definitely up there. The layout of the place is kind of unique as it's attached to a hotel, and if you happen to need a restroom, you will see exactly what I'm talking about. Overall we're fans of the whole atmosphere and ambiance here. Even when it's hopping, it still seems pretty quiet and relaxing. Food options are pretty varied but honestly, we haven't gone much deeper than the pizzas, and that's with good reason...THEY'RE AWESOME! We've had probably 8 or 9 different varieties and they're all amazing. Even better the next day, which is a plus. Beyond that, my daughter had dabbled with Mac N' Cheese and burgers a couple of times and has never been disappointed. I can pretty confidently say that no matter what you order, you'll be happy. I would be HEAVILY remiss not to mention the Charcuterie appetizer. That's one of those things that I will order no matter where I'm at if I see it on a menu and can ALSO pretty confidently say that I'm well versed in the world of Charcuterie. Consensus on this one? Top 5 ever. Trust me on this. We will still dabble and try other and new spots in town, but for the time being, this will be our number one choice in Keene.

Walked in at 8:45pm, tried to order a drink, bartender said sorry, I already did last call, even though it was 15 minutes before closing.

The food is pretty good, but over priced. It is nice that they reopened, but I was hoping the food and cost prices would be a bit better

The spot is located in a humble building downtown - a good size but not huge. Pretty ideal for the type of service they offer (order at the counter & they bring the food to your table). The service was great and the place was well kept & clean. The food was outstanding. I got the chipotle chicken panini; fresh ingredients and a great sized sandwich. Their Belgian fries are seriously out of this world, not to mention their amazing dipping sauces to go with them (I myself had maple mayo and curry ketchup, both awesome)!! Their prices are also very reasonable. With everything raising in price lately, it's not uncommon to be spending a ton even on a quick lunch nowadays. This place keeps the cost reasonable for the times while still providing good portions and quality ingredients. They are also extremely "gluten free friendly" for anyone curious. I plan to drive back up to Keene in the very near future, based around having Fritz again!!

Day One, I went in and ordered a bacon egg & cheese sandwich. I asked if I could substitute avocado for the cheese. They said no as the avocado is more expensive. I get it, no big deal. I ask for a bacon egg sandwich (no cheese). They take my order along with my coffee and such and I go about my business. I go back to my Air bnb and lo and behold it's an egg only sandwich. I chalk it up to talking about avocados more than I do their listening skills and I move on. Day Two, I go in to give them a second chance. I order a Harvest Bowl & 2 coffees. I pay in cash. I get my cups, fill up my coffees and wait. After a few minutes, I realize that several people have come in, ordered, served and left in front of me. I go up to the counter and ask about my order and find out it was never put in. Because I paid in cash there was no trail. It's now well over 20 minutes and the person who took my order would not even lift her head to acknowledge that she served me. I call someone else over and ask about what to do and they treat me like I'm looking for a free meal. (FYI, visually I am a successful older female). Once they retook my order I quickly went next door to the jewelry shop as I had some time sensitive business there. When I returned, bowl still not ready, but was on the stove. While I was waiting I asked to speak with the manager. Suddenly nobody wanted to be the manager. Once someone came forward, I asked if this type of service was normal. I also asked if they compensate customers who have been ignored. He THEN HAD THE NERVE TO SAY, 'WELL, YOU'RE GETTING THE BOWL FOR FREE'! There were places I wanted him to put said compensation. Never, Never, NEVER say words like that to any customer. The sad part, the food is good. The place is cute. The customer service takes all that away and more. Caitlin, you have a good thing. Don't let your employees ruin it. When I mentioned your business in the jewelry store, they avoid your place too for the same reason.
