The sandwiches are always good and everyone who works there is so friendly and welcoming! A hidden gem in this neighborhood.

This is a Hannaford in need of improvement at least with the prepared foods!…read moreThe hot bar items are consistently stale, cold, or dried out. There is no time stamp on one stuff has been put out. I gave it one last try last week and it was 10:30 a.m. and stuff looked like it should be hot and it still was I don't know when it was put out but it wasn't fresh. The bagged chicken tenders are better bet. I wish they would do the Nashville hot again that was the best flavor. These also have time and date stamps on them. For someone like myself who spent many years in the restaurant business and food service I don't understand how they can just leave stuff out and not explain when it was put out. I did reach out to the company a few months ago regarding this issue which they never replied to me about, which is poor customer service, as well as not backing up your procedures with actual food safety! I have never gotten sick from eating it but some of the time has been so bad that it's inedible and that's when I contacted the company. Why put stuff out if you don't give a crap? When I was going to continuing ed in Manchester, the Bedford store, And Goffstown stores we're always well maintained in this regard. As for the rest of the Keene store the seafood counter is always spot on and I've never had problems with their deli, or produce etc. The bakery items they have as most grocery stores do are the quick rise kinds of breads and cakes probably made with hydrogenated oils. That said I don't buy my bread products from the store unless it's just a bun to make a cold cut sandwich. It's honestly still probably one of the better grocery stores in Keene. Market basket though is giving it a run for its money these days though. It's slightly cheaper at least for produce and many other things. Aldi across the street is pretty fantastic in certain ways but doesn't have the selection of products that Hannaford's does Back when people were wearing masks some of the people attending to the checkouts at this were not the most pleasant as well they would make you remove your mask( which I didn't want to wear in the first place) to validate alcohol. I don't understand how society can be this confused about cross-contamination if they are worried about such things, as I have worked in medical environments that doesn't make sense. It's a bananas world and some people just follow orders.

I'm pretty sure it's illegal to overcharge people for something and refuse to refund the money, but…read morethat's what happened. The self checkout has a quirk where if you put your first item on the scanner, it rings it up and then brings up a window that says "no cash accepted at this register, okay to continue?" When you hit yes, the item sitting on the scanner rings up again. I did not notice until I was on my way out to the car. I returned and asked the person monitoring the self-checkout for a refund and was told no. The one person who has the power to do refunds had just left on break, and my only option was to stand around for 30 minutes waiting for them. This is terrible customer service. I only saw three employees in the entire store, including a cashier and the person at self checkout. Either management is so miserable no one will work for them, or they are losing massive amounts of business to their competition and can't afford help. The parking lot had very few cars for a Tuesday at 4 p.m. and the whole atmosphere was that of a dying store. There are better options for grocery shopping in Keene.

The woman's bathroom wasn't too bad. It was out of tissue in one of the stalls but it's 9 at night…read moreso that makes sense, right? Shauna S. was a sweetie at self-clout l checkout! Great welcoming smile and she was helpful. I bought kombucha tea and it was a decent price and so were the grapefruits!

This place is new and I personally feel like something like this has been missing for a long time,…read moretoo long from the Keene/Dublin area. Personally I think they are a little small for a grocery store but reasonable size as compared to Whole Foods or The Green Grocery in Peterborough. I like the hot bar items but it felt like when we stopped that the options for the hot items was a little less than what it should be for 1 PM. The salad bar is also pretty stacked and we were able to get mac N Cheese, salad, soups and drinks for $22, which I didn't really think about but was pretty estatic on how good the price was. There are a lot of 'day traffic' that seem to stay in the dining area for extended periods of time writing or watching movies, taking up 4 seats for one person all sprawled out but I can't blame Wholesale for that. Will go to frequently.

I was told that they would look into it and send me coupons for Best Yet products/ When the coupons were not received after two weeks, I called and was told by customer service that a refund had been sent out to me and if I did not receive it by the 12th to call Today (4/10) I received a call telling me a refund check will be sent out on the 12th! That's 2 lies. When I called and asked for a supervisor I was on hold for 11 minutes and never got a supervisor! I do not want a refund and at this point, I do not want the coupons. Y do not lie and will not tolerate being lied to. I will not buy any of their products again. Carpe diem....Buyer Beware!
