Not only was service lackadaisical but selling someone a broken TV doesn't earn you business. Go at your own risk.

Everything is nicely organized and prices are fair! dresses, sweaters, denim, purses, etc. I didnt end up getting anything. the employee that assisted me noticed I tried something on that looked nice on... so she put it on hold for me. :-) From reading around, this place is the former saks thrift ave.... but had to change the name after 9 years when the lawyers came knocking but no harm to either parties :-) stop in there if youre in the area and if you like fashion and is frugal!

I do notice that the young college-age employees are much pickier than the owner on what they choose, probably because they have to account for the items they take in. Sometimes you can find a real steal, or at least something a little different. I always seem to gravitate towards the expensive stuff - the $50-100 items - but those are usually the prices for designer name things that go for much more. I would say $100 is usually the highest one sees, with most stuff falling between $10-$30. One small little thing, I consigned a dry-clean-only skirt once and they must have washed it and therefore it shrunk considerably when I visited again a few weeks later. I haven't brought it up, but I doubt it will sell now. It just means we both lost out on money.

After going back to the store to look at all other available options, Ben suggested that I purchase a shirt elsewhere to get what I needed. At his request, I found the shirt I was looking for through another retailer and had it tailored with the rest of the suit I purchased at Miller Bros. When I got my bill, I was charged a $50 "rush" tailoring fee for the shirt and was later told that the fee was because I had them tailor a shirt not purchased at their store (even though Ben had instructed me to look elsewhere for the shirt). While Ben did a good job helping me find the right suit, it doesn't feel right being charged $50 to tailor a shirt I was told to buy somewhere else, especially after already spending over $300 on the rest of the suit with them. If you're going to use Miller Brothers, ask about their hidden fees in advance!

Our wedding day was set for May 2, 2020 and we had done a year of planning to get to this point. I had ordered and been fitted for a custom suit in early March at a national Men's fine clothing chain. Soon there after, the Covid-19 Pandemic hit and virtually shut down our economy. It also meant that if we wanted to get married, I would have no suit. So, we were in a panic with less than 2 weeks to go and the retailer backing out. I called MBN after doing some thinking and Bruce and staff said they would provide a private fitting for a custom suit off the rack. It was ultimately the best decision I've made and will be a life long customer. They were amazing and got me into the perfect suit. I've always been a shop local guy and realize more than ever why that is so true. Thank you MBN for making our day perfect and thank you Bruce.

I had a plane to catch, so I breezed into the store (after taking a rainy photo for Yelp) and looked around for women's shoes. My initial scan showed me a handsome "older gent" (egads, maybe 55?) was leaning on his forearms against one of the shelves. The Marlboro Cowboy with a Sam Elliot on his upper lip, eyed me. (Inside, I thought, "hm, maybe he's wondering what a woman is doing in a store that sells workboots?") Then he said, "Can I help you with something?" And yes, yes, he could! He actually paid attention to what I said (black only, no copper rivets) and I chose two pairs of shoes in the space of four minutes ($59 and $89). When he moved around behind the cash register to ring me up, his colleagues (two other gents sans fancy facial hair) asked me, "How'd he do?" to which I responded with a shoulder shrug and a "meh" keeping in tradition with the reserve of New Hampshah. The gents smiled and mustache said, "they are trying to get rid of me because I'm too old." To this I replied, "they are just jealous because they can't grow a mustache like yours." (Heck, I'm a woman and I'm jealous!) Love the shoes. Love the stache. I'll be back next time I'm driving a pumpkin. And maybe... it'll be happily ever after.
