    Salad from Appetizer Menu

What a wonderful experience. The server was phenomenal - very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The Chef was out of this world! The presentation of each dish from appetizer to dessert made the experience THAT much better. I ordered the Hanger Steak, which was cooked to perfection and the gnocchi that came with it paired so well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The environment speaks for itself, it wasn't too bright or too dim, the music set the scene, and being able to watch the Chef work his magic made it feel like I was in a movie.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] While it is pricey, it is so worth it. Highly recommend!!

I love a hidden, ticked away, unassuming gem. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The intimate setting was beyond unique as you could watch the chef work his magic right from your table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Each dish was beyond creative and left your tastebuds wondering how the next bite could top the last, but it always did. The service was outstanding.

Sat this close to the kitchen.

This is an outstanding place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Small but mighty in food and service in a very intimate setting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everything was top notch and tasted fantastic!

What a beautiful evening with a master of detail Chef Michael Fuller. The scallops and Wagyu beef dishes were delicious and flawless. Thank you for making a great birthday dinner memorable. We will be back.

Phenomenally over priced. The food & the presentation, ambience etc. great but it is simply not worth what's being charged

This is our second time here. Tiny place (8 tables + bar)…read more Food: 5/5 we got the French onion grilled cheese and spicy Korean chicken sandwich which were both incredible. The beignets were the star of the show!! Plus the burgers are great too Service: 5/5 spot on and extremely efficient. To the point where we noticed that there's not one slacker on the staff, they work together and meet the needs of every customer. Exceptional! Vibe: 5/5 we love a good bar food, low frills place. It's homey and fun without being over the top. Overall would come back every time we're in Brattleboro

The space itself is small, so I'd definitely suggest calling ahead to see if they have room. There's basically no indoor waiting area, and standing by the door or outside in the winter, like we did, got uncomfortable enough that we almost left for another place, even though the wait was only about 20 minutes. Our server was friendly and tried to stay on top of things, but you could tell she was a bit overwhelmed with how busy it was and the constant flow of people coming through the door. In our group, a couple of the burgers came out very undercooked, with blood pooling on the plate. No one had been asked how they wanted their burger cooked and it wasn't mentioned when we ordered, so it was an unpleasant surprise even if it wasn't exactly anyone's "fault." I ordered the spicy Korean fried chicken sandwich, which ended up being just okay. The bottom of the bun was soggy, so it fell apart and was hard to pick up and eat. The kimchi on the sandwich didn't bring much flavor or heat, so it kind of missed the mark for something that's supposed to be a bold, spicy option.

In the past, we've had the fish tacos and really enjoyed those as well. The restaurant has a fun Vermont atmosphere, and the bar area and visible pizza oven add a lot to the ambience. My only drawback is the seating. Much of it consists of long, shared tables, which isn't our favorite setup and can make the dining experience feel a little less comfortable or intimate. That said, the food keeps us coming back. There aren't a lot of tables, so I'd definitely recommend making a reservation, especially at a busy time. Great spot for pizza, drinks, and casual food when you're in the Newfane area!
