I don't like to sit in a pizzeria but have ordered here many times. Delivery is fast, pick up is easy. The chicken tenders are serviceable. Yeah it's good, not great, but somehow I keep ordering from here. Well unless they put some addictive drugs in here the food must be just fine. Money talks, and this is where I spend it. 4 Stars, only because I've lived in some really great pizza towns. I also like the people here. I know this will probably be long but to explain, it's difficult to cut corners explaining....if I were able to give a zero, I would. I always call to place an order but this first time, since already online went to Pizza Pie.com ..of Keene, NH and placed an order. During the order it gave three options for delivery so I chose one..none listed the restaurant's name. It also asked for delivery directions if any so I wrote specifically how to. I received an email stating the order would be delivered in approximately 25 mins. After 45 minutes I called Pizza Pie, asking where our order was. They said they have no order for me, not their problem. I said..you must, you took my money. He said there is no order for you. What is your phone number, after giving it, he said no, you dont have one here. I called again, now it was nearly two hours. I am 73 and had ordered from Amazon etc online but never a restaurant so I was completely baffled how they took my money but claimed i had no order. I asked him to bare with me, and said, I really don't understand as I went to your restaurant online, placed the order, yet you dont have any record of my order....this is so confusing. He said did you chose Door Dash, I replied yes...he said thats your problem not mine, nothing I can do if door dash was your delivery. Then he rudely asked if i live so close, why didnt I just walk over and get it instead of going online...I did not think that deserved a response so didn't respond ...but it was still was confusing, I was out money yet hes claiming I placed no order. i asked for the owner and he said hes not here tonight. Then he said loud, I want to throw the f----ing phone and told someone to take the call but sounded like he threw the phone on a counter so I hung up. I will never give my money to them ever again. To yell at someone my age because they never used door dash before and didnt understand the drift how it works, I felt I was in the twilight zone with knowing i placed the order, my money was taken from my account but hes insisting he has no proof of it and cannot help and starts cursing and yelling. Later, ended up, it was left outside the apartment building and not brought to my door....cold but there. All he had to say is if you chose Door Dash then yes the money is taken but that is an online delivery you chose so they should be bringing it to you. Younger people as he have much to learn about life. One day when he's retired, I do hope he has a similar experience and remembers how he treated me. Tried Pizza Pie for the first time recently when family was ordering. We ordered 3 pizzas- their supreme, pepper/onion and a cheese. Pros: not greasy, crust was thicker and crispy, toppings had decent flavor. Cons: very little tomato sauce on the pizza and what was there had almost no flavor. Also as others noted, they need to work on fine tuning how long your order will take to be ready- ended up waiting at least 10 more minutes than they had estimated when went to pick up, even though we called a little before leaving to check on our order time. All in all I'd eat this pizza again but it's nothing to rave about and in my opinion there are better pizza options in the Keene area. read more

Good place to stop for cheap pizza slices (no delivery on slices). Pizza Pi (Greek character) offers cheese or pepperoni slices for only 99 cents each. The soft okay crust is semi thick (similar to Little Caesar's) with the right amount of cheese and sauce. Besides pizza, they offer pizza calzones, pasta dinners, salads, subs, appetizers, wings, bottled or fountain beverages, and fresh baked goods (cookies, brownies). Got tired of Athens (decent pizza) so we thought we would try Pizza Pie. We ordered a large 1/2 pepperoni & half sausage & onion. Toppings were OK. Sausage could be higher quality. Pie itself was doughy and really lacked a good amount of sauce. No Italian flavor. Price was good but the product needs improvement. If you can't get the sauce to cheese ratio right the pie is screwed. Crust itself was decent. As a former NYer & New Haven Pizza guy this place has some work to do. Stopped in around five today to get a quick bite ( two slices of pizza) to eat. Place was not at all busy and I didn't say anything to person at register to make him think that I was in a hurry. About 3-5 minutes later, my slices are given to me on paper plate. Very unappetizing appearance, very "dried out" look (as if they had been sitting around back there somewhere for most of the day, if not longer). I took one bite from the first slice. It was cold, almost like it had just been in refrigerator, and not properly reheated. Took a bite from second piece, and it was just as bad! Tossed both in trash. And just to make things worse, as I was leaving I saw that none of the people preparing and handling food were wearing hair covering. Overall, poor experience, and it's hard to shake the impression that what I experienced was not "business as usual." read more

Great Pizza great price! The crust is fantastic and the sauce not too sweet. They even have a pitcher of water anf cups so you don't have to buy a drink. Where else can you get a filling luch for Three dollars and change. Strongly recommend if you are in a rush and on a budget. Really decent. They get pizza's out really quick. I am a fan of their specialty pizzas and even really like their happy hour pizza which is a very good price. Usually I would expect something like that to be just a bait and switch promotion but it is the real deal a delicious quick option for lunch that far exceeds microwave pizza and is the perfect portion not to tire you out for the rest of the day. Don't like the selection for drinks, they are really lame. Slice of the day, as it is at most places is sketchy to me in my opinion but that is neither here nor there, this is a take to go place, although there is some seating i dont think it is utilized much. read more

Great food and great service! I ordered a large 1 topping pizza and the total was $10.57 including tax. That's more than reasonable. The large was a good size pizza and it was delicious. The pizza wasn't drowning in sauce and it had just the right amount of toppings on it so it didn't overwhelm the pizza. Also, I really enjoy the subs and salads they make. Everything tastes very fresh and they give you a good amount for what you buy. read more

Classic don't judge a book by its cover. While inside stinks, our sandwiches were delicious! I went here with my family to grab some quick food to eat on the road. My mother, being a math teacher, wanted to try it because of the pi reference. When we walked in, I was a little concerned. The place reeked of pee one you walked back by the bathrooms. We still ordered anyway. We all got sandwiches: chicken Caesar salad, Philly cheese, eggplant parmesan and BLT. All of them were very tasty! I got the BLT. I was a little disappointed at first because the bacon was all diced up like it was meant for a pizza topping. Once I got further into the sandwich though, there was plenty. It was a little pricey though, at $6.75 for a large sub that comes with nothing else (no pickle, drink or chips for instance). I like pizza and I like different pizza places but Pizza Pi is one of the best pizza also the price is nice especially when they cooked your pizza! If you buy frozen pizza at the grocery, you're spending the same money as Pizza Pi except you have to cook it on ur own which is fine but sometime if you don't want to make your house hot from the heating oven or don't have time to cook pizza, Pizza Pi is the place! Pizza Pi isn't bad. On the upside it's not Greek style, and the crust is usually nice and chewy. On the downside they seem to use a cheese mix that makes it taste a bit cheap, and the sausage is bleah little nuggets. The sauce isn't too sweet which is another big plus. It's not very big and I don't really want to eat in, but it's nice to bring home to the mister. read more

My daughter and I went there after doing errands. We ordered a pesto cheese pizza. YUM, is all we could say. I almost wanted to eat every piece I could fit in my belly. The size of the pizza is more than good. We both had 3 pieces and their was 2 piece left to bring home! While we were eating I noticed that there were people coming in to order or pick up an order. I'm a big fan of Pizza Pie for their pizzas AND salads (which seem a bit pricy but are big enough for 2 people to share). They're pretty inexpensive especially when they're running specials (sometimes large for the price of medium). Every semester I order from them for my seminars' final classes, and my students and I gobble up all the slices pretty fast! Pizza Pie is located between my house (West Keene) and my job (Keene State) so when I don't feel like cooking, I am apt to call them and pick up on my way home. I also have had them deliver for many end-of-the-semester pizza parties in my seminars. I like their pizza a lot although I usually order it with extra sauce as I like really sauce-y pizza. No complaints and in fact lots of compliments from my students as well, some of whom have never tried Pizza Pie before. Pizza Pie's specials make their pizza outrageously inexpensive (e.g. 2 large pizzas, one cheese and one with up to 5 toppings, for $20 plus tax -- best deal around!!). Their salads are really good too -- a bit expensive but large enough to share, and dressings are on the side so the salad isn't swimming in oil. I haven't had their sandwiches or baked goods although they look yummy. All in all my favorite pizza place -- MUCH better than Domino's or Pizza Hut, imho. read more
