We have ordered from Pizza Down Under frequently but tonight we tried their pizza for the first time. The crust is exceptional, we got the Special White and I would recommend you give it a try. So many good choices, we have had grinders, Cod dinners, spaghetti and meatballs and often finish with homemade Baklava. Give them a try...I hope you enjoy as much as we do. read more

Not very impressive. I've been taking everything with a grain of salt because of the current state of affairs, but I can't imagine this place could be much better. It seems to be one of the last places in the area that doesn't have indoor dining back (June 2020). We had to dine outdoors, it was extremely hot, and they didn't offer us our drinks before our food came out. The pizza seemed average at best, chicken parm sub was flavorless, and the veggie sub just wasn't there. They also don't serve wings. There's just nothing notable about Pizza Down Under. read more

Our favorite pizza in town. The sauce is absolutely delicious, we always ask for a little side dipping cup to spoon over the top or dip our fries in. Toppings are always plentiful and good quality. This business has been owned and run by the same Family for 23 years and very conveniently located off park ave. They also added some new seating outside. Grinders and fries are also delicious. Have not tried all the grinders, but several over the years. They are always generous with toppings and quality is great as well. read more

Wow! Stopped here on a whim and was not disappointed-the pizza is AMAZING! The owner was super friendly. We ordered a small meat lovers and a small Buffalo chicken (spicy), there wasn't a crumb left. read more

Neighborhood Pizzeria. Found this gem visiting Keene from San Antonio. Chef salad is was amazing. Fresh cut veggies and tasty ham, turkey and roast beef. Fresh grated mozzarella. Pizza was a thin crust and not too saucy. Perfect for folding. Family owned and the three of them got everything out timely during the dinner rush! Great find! read more

So you're probably also thinking "Wait, Australian pizza?! Wonder what that's like..." Sorry to disappoint, but there isn't anything that I've been able to discern that is "Down Under" about this little joint, other than it's location in the building. The pizza's pretty good though, cooked to a point were your plentiful cheese gets a little toasted (mmm, crispy cheese crust), this place is right down the road so it'll be my new go to spot I think for carry out. They have several other things I'll like to try eventually, like their steak tips, and they have plenty of rotating daily specials. Every time I stop in to pickup there are folks eating there as well. Probably 3.5 stars for the food, but plus another half for the friendly staff of lovely ladies. :) read more

I was excited to try this place because I live around the corner but the guy taking my order was so rude I just decided to cancel the order! All I wanted was a small buffalo chicken calzone.. this place puts feta in it, which I can not have because I am pregnant, other wise it would be fine. I told them no feta, just regular cheese, and no blue cheese (which I can't have either) on the side ranch instead. I don't know what was so hard about that but the guy could not get it through his head that i just wanted regular cheese in it and was screaming at me through the phone, so I said forget it. Back to the roots.... Yes a bit further down from the main line and perhaps off Broadway, and perhaps that should be the way to go for an absolutely the best pizza and hot sandwiches in town. We consistently had delicious food at this spot whether it was pizza, sandwiches and variety salad all the time... The food quality is superb with a healthy note and the cooking style reminds traditional taste with touch of Mediterranean breeze. Seating is casual. We almost always saw kids with families. This is by far the best pizza is Keene, it always tastes so much fresher than any of the other places. I've also gotten into conversations with the owners before and they're really cool. They've got a bunch of other food besides pizza too, I had an amazing vegetarian sub with lots of jalapenos in it. My only criticism is that they don't deliver. The food is worth the drive to pick it up though, and the place is cool eat at too. I've eaten there a couple of times, but I usually order my food for take out. read more

This is one of my favorite places to grab lunch, as I work right next door and live down the street! The owners are so nice and friendly as are all of the employees I've come into contact with. Never again! We should have listened to our gut reaction to the empty pizza boxes on the dirty tables and the bare lightbulbs on the wall, but we were hungry and it was late. The little girl sitting on the counter, "helping" enter our order, took nearly 5 minutes. We were told that there were only two pizza doughs left, one small and one large yet while we were waiting for our meal, someone from the kitchen shouted that our pizza would look funny since the dough was fresh and not proofed. (Evidently someone else got that last large pizza.) We were told four more times why our pizza looked like a saltine with melted cheese but no one ever offered to comp the cost of our pizza. The atmosphere was awful - five adults in the kitchen all yelling and banging pans while a little girl ran around the dining room and kitchen. I am a bit disappointed 4 years ago you guys were really good. Is it hard for you to find good help? The second to the last time we were in our pizza order was wrong and we had to wait So long because it wasnt placed but passed over then when we got it, It wasnt what we ordered but I accepted it anyway just because we had waited so long and we were hungry. Just recently we were in and again wait time was longer than it should have been. I have been in the food business for years myself. I know what it's all about and how hard it can be a lot of the times. Quality is very important I don't know what happened but you have lacked it for awhile now sorry to say. We had a big order and I still left a tip but after getting the food I kinda wished I hadn't. The fried mushroom caps were well over cooked and my husband's steak and cheese also was almost burnt not good but he ate it anyway. My brockley Alfredo chicken pizza was also lacking in taste I added salt it made It better. The garden salad should have been called an onion salad. Over kill on the onions and we love onions. I feel bad leaving such a review but you owners should be aware. Of your product your putting out isn't as good as it once was. I use to love your place it was the best place for pizza in Keene I thought but no longer. Sorry we wont be back. read more
