Anyways me and my girl came here I had 8 piece buffalo wings and a cali western smash burger and the pretzel. They Where both good. 8/10 for the burger pretzel was a 8/10 cheese sauce was good the mustard sauce was too much for me. My burger ended up taking wayyyyy too long but they made up for it. This was a solid okay...It was good a little bit too bulky on a flat bread, the chimichuri was a bit sweet, but fine. If you're a beer lover definitely come here! They have a wide selection of local beers for you to enjoy. The staff here are friendly and helpful. We ordered through a QR code that led us to a toast tab, but the staff kept checking in on us to see if we needed anything else. The bar food is better than average but if you're coming solely looking to eat I would pass. I would recommend getting the burger and ahi nachos out of all of the things I have tried here. My family and I came in on Mother's Day after leaving a different restaurant without food. We were starving to say the least but we were quickly greeted and seated. They have a mobile ordering system which worked fine for the rest of my party but mine. I'm usually pretty tech savy but couldn't figure out the problem. Visited this place for the very first time. The vibe here is amazing. However, I must admit, if your more of a beer person than stick to your choice of beer. I'm not not a beer drinker at all. Anything else I'll drink but beer. Since I was first timer here why not try something new, which I had the "Fight". Lesson learned, my taste buds didn't like, stick to what you normally have. I place a photo of the names of the drink I had in my flight. The best one was "Blood Orange". The drinks were a bit tangy/sour. You need to have your taste buds settle. Unfortunately, my didn't settle much. As for the food, I had the appetizers. The Drunken Shrimp and Taproom Wings (Buffalo sauce). Let's begin with the Drunken Shrimp, it was delicious. The lemon and garlic flavor went well. It also had a bit of the red chili flakes and ciabatta, which the seasoning was a great combination. However for the price $16 for simply 5 shrimps and 2 pieces of bread, not worth it. The Taproom Wings (Buffalo Sauce / Classic) the wings came with 6 pieces of wings and 5 small pieces of veggies. It was all delicious but for $16 not worth it. Either provide a nice batch of veggie sticks or nothing at all. All would have been worth it if they added additional pieces of shrimp or chicken wings. Your better off order the pizza for two for the same price. Although, I would recommend this place and I will definitely be back. Next time I know what to expect, including, what to order. read more

While driving in/out of Paso Robles from our hotel in SLO, saw them by 101 HWY and decided to stop by for food and beer tasting rather than trying to find a parking and a dining spot in Paso Robles downtown after wine tasting on hot/busy Labor day holiday. Glad we did! Since we had to drive back to hotel, we did two rounds of beer flights instead of full Pints which gives 8 tastings of their beers. Food selections are limited but quite tasty, better than expected except the wings. Ordering thru online was easy, kids liked their food we liked our tasting and pairing. They still have the best beer in the world, DBA, as well as many other choices and their famous 805. Very casual look inside either ample patio seating. Always driven past Firestone on the 101 and finally got to drop in for their tour. It was easy to book tickets online. We opted for the Brewhouse Tour which was $10 and lasted about 45 mins. They also offer a Campus Tour Fri - Sun and that one lasts 1.25 hours. Remember to wear closed toed shoes! We got to taste 3-4 beers (total) at the beginning, middle, and end of the tour. It was cool to see the facility and learn the history and process of brewing Firestone beer. They're always brewing 24/7, but there's less production going on during the weekend. You're able to walk around outside on the grounds before/after the tour. There's a taproom aka their restaurant and we walked the 200 yards to check out the gift shop. Overall, fun experience. We received a small snifter glass and a bottle opener at the end. The bathroom in the visitor center could be cleaner though. read more

Covid got to this place. Used to be my go to spot for a good meal coming back to Hanford from the beach and always had good service and delicious food, but this recent trip left me disappointed and I blame the corona! You pace your reservation at the front and they call you when your table is open. Then they point you towards your table as they no longer have people to show you to your table. Then to order you can use your phone to scan a QR code and order via your phone or go to the bar and order from there. The menu seems smaller than before and prices higher. There's no where to specifically ask for water so I wrote it in the section for notes and never got the water which I didn't realize didn't come with my appetizer meal. I ordered the wonton tacos which i imagined were similar to the wonton nachos I'd had in other places but I was sadly mistaken. I got a place with 5 mini tacos. Not gonna lie, they were delicious, but for the price I would expect more. Seriously, was this some rare, endangered fish I was eating????? I was left hungry after this and still no water. Thankfully someone came by and offered to take the plates away and I was able to inquire about the drinks that were included with the kids meals that also didn't arrive. Very sad and the lack of wait staff doesn't help it either. Extremely expensive for what you get and they're also nice enough to include themselves a 20% tip on top of your order. Last I checked a tip was in reference to the quality service one received while dinning and not for someone to drop off a half a$$ meal. I hope this place can dig themselves out of the corona hole they've dug themselves into. I'm sure they will as they're primary business is the brewery, but what a sad visit. Came and found they had no ciders and were out of their seltzers. Was super disappointed since I don't like beer. I had to settle for a watered down Diet Coke. Sat on the patio with my tiny dog and was disappointed to find fellow patrons with huge dogs or dogs not being properly watched and leashed. A table of Karen's next to me had an extendable leash and the dog could go to three tables on either side of it and the owners didn't watch it or do shit about it, but managed to complain about their food after devouring it. My boyfriend is a huge fan of Firestone so I surprised him with a tour at the brewery on our way to Santa Cruz. Alia was our tour guide. She was super cool and knew a lot about Firestone's beer and had no problem answering lots questions. After our tour she recommended we go to the taproom for dinner. It's right across the street! They had a ton of gastro pub options to choose from. We decided to go with the Korean Smash Burger and the Fig and Pig Smash Burger. They were some of the best burgers I've ever had! The Korean Smash Burger was sweet and spicy (like me!:) We also got the Crispy Short Rib Street Tacos, which are okay mini quesadillas but not so much tacos. We didn't eat much of that dish. Britton the manager, who is awesome came by to see how we were doing. I'm not a huge complainer but I did tell her that we didn't really like the tacos. She said she would be more than happy to get us something else but we were stuffed. So she insisted on taking them off the check AND brought us a complimentary flight! My favorite was the pajama one. Whoever decided to add marshmallows to a barrel aged beer knew what they were doing. YOU HAVE THE COOLEST PEOPLE WORKING AT FIRESTONE WALKER!!! I'd recommend the tour/taproom combo to anyone looking for a fun place to visit in Paso! Love coming to the best brewery tap room in the lower 48. One of my favorite things about inside is you walk in grab a table you can find, scan the QR code on the table and literally order all your food and beer right there on your time without waiting for waiter or waitress not that I don't mind it but it does get overwhelming where as this way you can put your orders in on your time and they will proactively fulfill and bring that order to you promptly. Once your order is in your drinks will arrive shortly after literally ice cold and as fresh as the beer can get. As you get to kick back and enjoy your drinks you'll be ready to grab a second round as you get the food and the short wait is worth every minute. The food is definitely good especially those garlic fries. Definitely a must stop for me every time I come or pass through Paso, plus I get to drink literally the best beer on the planet 10 years running....805!!! read more

Last Saturday we tried to go to lunch at this establishment. It looked like a fun place with good food and drinks. It was around 3 pm so it wasn't completely crowed. We checked in. There were no other people waiting. But for some reason, they just kept us waiting. We asked what was going on but the hostess just rolled her eyes and said they were cleaning up a table for us. We stumbled in here on our eight hour drive from Northern California back home to San Diego. We sat outside since we had dogs with us. The beer selection was great and the seasonal cinnamon dulce was spectacular. Husband had the pig and fig which he loved, and I shared the fidh and chips with my mom. The fish and chips have a perfect spice to the batter. I will say the skinny fries are far superior to the lion fries. My kids had Mac and cheese and mini corn dogs. Overall, everyone was happy. Service wasn't fantastic and I don't love the QR code ordering but know that I'm probably in the minority there. Check this place out. Came here for dinner & beer while we were in the area camping. We came here because this brewery is well known and we love 805 beer. We arrived and sat outside in the picnic area since we had our dog with us. Was surprised to see that there wasn't any heaters near us since it was night time and a bit chilly out. No one came to greet us so we sat down at a table that hadn't been bussed yet, had to flag someone down to clean it off and take our order. I got a flight of beer and my boyfriend got a pint to start. Flights are always fun so you can try a bunch of beers and after order a pint of your favorite. The beer was good! Next we got a pretzel to start and it was HUGE! It was good but kind of cold, we think it would of been better hot. For our entrees we got veggie tacos and a veggie burger. We ended up splitting both so we could try everything and we both liked the veggie burger better. Overall it was a good experience! I used to love this place for their beer and food, but I gotta say...seeing 5 girls standing around doing absolutely nothing in a "now" self service restaurant is asinine. Don't bother tipping because they work as hard as a McDonalds employee (which is insulting to McDonalds, sorry). It's a real shame that is (along with others) business have profited from Covid and decided to go the self service route with food and expect their customers to tip. Save yourself the time and go to Tin City for real beer and great food without the corporate horrible service and product. What can I say? We've been here what? Almost a dozen times? We take trips north specifically to get dinner and drinks here. The facility itself is tremendous, and the beers are, of course, wonderful. The vast variety and consistent quality and character of everything on tap is no small feat. We tour several breweries all over the world and it's very rare to find one that has something worth commentary from every single pour. Firestone, though huge and corporate and American, has impressed both of our non-American tastebuds and we've always been happy when we come. That is, with the beers. The food..... The buffalo chicken drumettes are good. A bit over sauced but very good and tender, always juicy and flavorful. Chopped salad is fresh and generous but ample produce and toppings. The Bear Burger is good though the yellow cheese really threw me off. Why would you put such a horrible slice of plastic on such a wonderful patty? Pizza was disgusting. Ribs were .... just ribs. Too much sauce. A bit too dry, but still ok. I wouldn't order them again because I make better at home but I also can see why many people would actually like them, so give them a shot. They're not bad. The dining room is COLD, VERY COLD, so just be aware of that when you decide to order food because it's going to come down to temperature really fast. Despite these minor details, we will continue to venture to Firestone and enjoy the 4+ hour drive (one way) and reserve a hotel so that we can relax and enjoy ourselves for an evening (or two). It pains me to write a two star review for a spot I visited last summer and had a fantastic time. But this last visit was really a sad occurence. It was raining, wait, I am not blaming the weather for a negative review, but it was raining and only half of the outside patio was open for seating. We did get a table immediately upon entering which was nice, and we ordered via the Q-R code at the table per usual for the COVID protocols which is nice when with a party ordering on separate checks. My issue was, the crowded lobby and no sort of crowd control or mask enforcement. A couple of the cooks were not wearing their masks properly. The onion dip came with four pieces of celery and four pieces of carrots and a meager amount of potato chips. Really? Celery and carrots are not expensive. You really should not have more dip than things you can dip into the dip. And the taste itself,well, not good. It would have been better off buying a packet of Lawrys onion dip, a container of sour cream and mixing it. The beers were good and I do love that you can order tasters for $2.00, but it took 10 minutes to get our drinks. Unfortunately, they were obviously understaffed as we watched the food piling up in the window. The worst for me was a stall in the ladies room which was about to overflow with....ugh. I can't even say it. Due to my previous experience in the summer I will be back, but my advice, if you come here and the lobby is full and they appear obviously packed. Leave. Come back another time. Unless they obviously are well staffed. read more
