I have been to this location two times so far and I must say they were fantastic. The first time was for A/C service that wasn't working. They recharged it and checked for leaks. It has been working great ever since. The second was today and I had multiple things done. I had the oil changed, the tires rotated, the front differential serviced and the left front wheel bearing changed all in about three hours. they did a great job and it was worth every penny. I really appreciate all the work they did and now my Toyota Tacoma is purring again instead of growling like it was. Thank you guys so much. read more

Oh I wish it was still 2019, so the techs, and the work was still consistent. I have been a loyal Firestone customer since moving back here in 2018. I usually get my oil changed, and have purchased tires with lifetime balance and alignment. Also.... I have waited months to write this review... At this particular store, I have always had a great relationship with Kim. I have had some glitches with QC with minor things, but nothing big. My car is a 2004 Toyota Rav 4. I take great care of her, as she is the only car I have. I bought her with some of my moms money when she passed. She currently has 120K (at 20 yrs old). I love my Ella Fitzgerald. There have been at least 3 concerning event at Firestone, but I will share two. I had an oil change , and after I drove her home, my car leaked liquid on my garage floor, and my car was smoking after running . I had no idea what was going on. I took time off from work, took my car back in and found out a tech had spilled oil all over my engine and car, and did not clean it up, and no one told me. Seriously? (They re did my oil change and sort of cleaned up my car). June 2023,ht as blazes outside! I take my car to have the AC checked. It was working fine, but not quite as cold as it had been. I explained to them I was a neonate kitten bottle baby foster, and had 6 kittens currently and really needed the AC because 3 day old kittens can not regulate their temperature. After a few hours of waiting (I don't have another car) I was told they needed a few parts and they would not be in until Wednesday (I took my car there on Monday). I had NO idea they evacuated my AC and just left it not usable. No one told me. Keep in mind my AC worked when I drove in! They said they would call me as soon as the part came in. No one ever called me back...I waited weeks. I had my AC put back together some where else, and for much less. Quality there has gone down, and when I trust my car to them..it is hard to digest feeling dismissed. read more

Every person I've dealt with over decades has been personable, respectful, and skilled. I'm always given clear information about what they assess as problems and which work is necessary versus what can wait, if need be. Hobbled across town on a donut because it's the only place open until 7, and got there 30min before closing and was refused service to patch a tire even though a dude in front of me had the same request granted. This place is clown town. The service manager talk out his asp and knows very little about customer care. My experience; 1. Took my vehicle in to get checked out as it's still under warranty through an online care sales 2. The technician couldn't find any problems with it, even though they acknowledged and witnessed my concerns 3. Wasted four hours for them to tell me they didn't want to look into it any further 4. To top it off; I waited an additionally amount of time, unnecessarily, because the workers at the front desk abandoned their post After realizing my vehicle had been moved, test driven and returned to the parking lot, I approached the front desk to get the verdict. No one was there and I waited for several minutes until a technician came in from the shop. He asked me what vehicle I had. I told him (seeing the key sitting on the window) and he informed me that they "couldn't find the source of my concerns". Ok I guess. I mentioned I had been waiting and my vehicle was done being looked at and explained to him I could have been there until the shop had closed and probably still would have never been helped. His response, "they are busy and one of them had to run errands". Stay clear! read more

They are doing the best they can, and for that I am thankful for their time. However, they quoted 233.89$ for a serpentine belt replacement. I waited 3.5 hours for a oil change and cannot imagine the wait time for the belt. But on a serious note, that's way overpriced. I Immediately went to a different shop which fixed the belt for just 110$. Inspection wise, I had mentioned the belt before they took the car in and when I went to talk to the mechanic, they double checked the belt and he had let the previous mechanic that checked know that it was "cracked to shit" which, when you look at the inspection paperwork, it's crossed off in the "ok" section and then check marked in "suggested" part. Other than that, inspection seemed to be thorough I guess? Appreciate the hard work. read more

It's taking EVERYTHING in me not to post names. So here's a little back story; I'm currently in a homeless shelter with my family. I don't start work until the 24th. I have little to no money to my name. One guy who works for this location was nice enough to help me outside of his job. We even went to autozone who told me the battery was bad. This guy told me to come to his work the next day and HE would test everything for FREE and give me a discount on the battery if that was the problem. He told another worker my situation. The worker didn't charge me the full $100+ that the inspection apparently costs, he only charged me $10. Which was nice of him. The problem? He claims my car wouldn't start and he couldn't get it to turn over. I literally watched him perfectly drive it into the garage. The car never had a problem with turning/staying on. This guy claims it was the starter and that the cheapest he could quote me was $700. Now I'm not very educated on cars and home boy sensed that about me. I even asked him "Hypothetically, if it isn't the starter then what's the next step?" He wouldn't answer. He just insisted it was the starter. While the man standing behind him shook his head no at me. I obviously couldn't pay it anyway. I went to oreileys who also said the battery was bad. I took it to my dealership and they told me it was battery. Guess what? I replaced the battery and now my car is fine. I don't know what you were trying to dude but trying to screw a homeless person over is a new low. read more

I came in for an oil change (which includes filling up all fluids) and a tire repair. After picking up my car, my windshield wiper fluid was out and doesn't even squirt on my windshield anymore, if I used it, it will squirt on the car next to me (which never was the case before bringing my car in) when I called to have it fixed they told me it's not their fault and won't fix it, even after when calling a week prior, the lady on the phone said that sometime they run out of windshield wiper fluid on Sundays (when I brought my car in) and the nozzle can sometimes get bumped and moved out of place, she told me to bring my car in when I get back in town and they'd fix it. But now I'm being told they won't fix it. read more

They never gave me a problem with my work car. They're excellent part-changers, and they'll do an oil change just fine for you. The instant I bring my personal vehicle to them, they tell me I need new bushings for my control arm- not a new control arm, just the bushings. The normal price range for bushings literally anywhere else is between 8 to 28 dollars. Wanna know what Firestone told me the price for one single bushings was? 421 dollars. That's right! They wanted to charge me 842 dollars through them for parts costing 16 to 56 dollars literally anywhere else. And that's just the parts! They wanted 515 dollars for the labor. Again, I feel the need to specify- JUST the bushings. Not the control arm. And just on one side, the front right side. Criminal! Now, they also said I needed new inner tire rods. The price range for tire rods literally anywhere else is 4 to 40 dollars. Guess how much Firestone wanted to charge me per inner tire rod? 117 dollars. That's right! 234 dollars through them for parts costing between 8 to 80 dollars literally anywhere else!! That's not including the price of labor, either, because they wanted 265 dollars for the labor. 234 dollars for at maximum 80 dollars worth of parts. I am baffled. I am bamboozled. I am absolutely stunned. What reason may they have had to upcharge me THAT MUCH for those parts? The only one I can think of is that I have the unfortunate experience of being born a woman. I walk in there after having put on quickstruts, shocks, and coil springs on my vehicle, only to have these men assume I know nothing about vehicles for what reason I'm assuming is my gender and upcharge me hundreds of dollars on 8 dollar parts. Insanity. As a customer, you deserve better. You can find better. You can find a mechanic who will charge you a fraction of the labor costs and do work 10 times better than these men. You can find mechanics who will treat you with more decency, more respect, and more humanity than these men at this Firestone. If you are a woman, do not believe them on the costs of parts. Get a second opinion from a local, small business mechanic. Firestone will gouge you on prices for no reason other than they think you're too stupid to know anything. Labor costs I can excuse. But the prices of these parts were upcharged by hundreds if dollars for absolutely no goddamn reason. Firestone, Dan? You should be ashamed of yourself for telling me these prices for these parts. I thought you knew me, I thought you remembered that I work on cars. Kim and Dan both, you need to treat your women customers with respect and humanity. 421 dollars for an 8 dollar part? You should be ashamed of yourselves. This is disgraceful behavior and exactly why I hate bring my vehicles to shops. This is why I'm my own mechanic and do all my own work. I trust you to do an alignment *one time* because I didn't have the time or patience for it that day and you try to charge me insane prices for no reason? Shame on you. read more

I brought my car in at 8:30 AM for a 9 o'clock appointment time for regular maintenance. The service person on duty was John (an employee with an eye patch). I did not hear anything over the course of the day so I return to the store at about 2:45 PM and found that my car was up on the alignment rack. Once the service person was cleared from working with another customer I asked what was up with my car? John replied that my car had a dead battery. I questioned that as I have not had any problems with the battery for the car. John stated that the car started up when he went out to check the mileage, but when the technician started up the car the battery was dead and the car needed to be jumped. This sounded pretty sketchy and I asked why there was such a delay in service. John repeated the information about the battery and provided me with a battery check slip saying that the battery had a bad core and needed to be replaced. I repeated my question on why the service took so long and John then stated that he did not have a technician in the shop until 9 AM. I told him that the excessive time to complete the work was unacceptable to me and that I had never run into this problem at this store previously. I asked to speak to Kim, who is the usual service person that I have worked with over the last five years. I was told that Kim was on a day off. My car was finished within five minutes of talking to John, and the charges were appropriate. In reviewing the paperwork I found an estimate for a new battery, with a cost of close to $250. I also noticed that John was using Kim's account for the paperwork, and not his own. I took the car to another shop and had the battery tested, and that shop found no problem with the battery. I think that the problem mostly lay with the lack of staff at the store, but John's reactions and explanations left me with a feeling of distrust. You can imagine that trusting your auto shop is the key to a long-term relationship. When I brought my car to the same store earlier in the summer, for its 65,000-mile maintenance, I also worked with John. At that time I asked him to give me a quote for a set of tires on my wife's car and provided him with the size. He told me that the quote would be ready when I picked up my car. When I did come in for my car there was no quote and a different service person just told me that there was no quote Attached to my order. She did not offer to generate a quote or email me a quote, it was just a statement that no quote existed. I left at that time having questions about the store and the trend of its customer service. Now, with this most recent incident, I will be hesitant to return to the store for service. As I spoke earlier I had worked with Kim for years and he was always good about explanations, update calls on service, and sometimes apologies when something didn't go quite right. To sum up I trusted him. That feeling is not there with your current staff and regrettably, now I feel I need to now seek another shop to service my vehicles. read more

I went with my son as his car was making a rattling noise on a Sunday to find out what was wrong and get it fixed. They called a few hours later with the MOST DISHONEST quote for repair for $5000!!!! So we drove down there to discuss. They RECOMMENDED replacing: 1) the outer tie rods (I just replaced those in MARCH...3 months ago). 2) replacing the Lower Control Arms (I also replaced those in MARCH). 3) Then they also wanted to repace all the Spring and struts (you think I am going to believe these are bad, after you lied to my face about the other parts?!?!?) 4) and of course you would also need to do an alignment if you replaced those parts Thus they wanted $5000!!!!!! for work I KNOW IT DIDN'T NEED (and I have the receipts and pictures of the old parts that where pulled off and what was put on to prove it)! When I asked them for what was the root cause for the rattle, I got a blow off answer of "the technician didn't tell me, but you need all this work done". When asked how long, they said they would need the car for at least 4 days! So while I can believe a Tie Rod End or something could have failed (bad part), there is NO WAY ALL the stuff magically failed in 3 Months and a 2k miles!!!! So I had my son take it to the competition today (so I would have independent proof..vs just my word)....they put it up on the lift, found the issue (it was a loose part..and they tightened it!). The total charge $0!!!! (And oh by the way, magically the $5000 in Repairs Firestone "recommended" didn't need to be done.) So Firestone wanted to do $5000 in UNNEEDED REPAIRS and NOTHING they wanted to do would have addressed the reason why we took it there to begin with. Harvey Firestone said, "I believe fundamental honesty is the keystone of business." He is right, but it is not this Firestone, it is the competition that will continue to get all by business for being honest. read more

The staff at this Firestone are always friendly & professional. I have never once been surprised about the cost when picking up my car.....they are always up front & spot on when they tell you what things cost. Further, I have never once known them to try and add on something that wasn't necessary. Today, they changed my oil & wipers at a very reasonable cost. The car was done before promised. When I got there to pick up the car, I was told about a "recommended" fuel cleaning procedure that would keep my fuel usage at optimal levels. No hard sell, just a recommendation. He then proceeded to tell me there was a sale for $20 off if I was interested. After talking with my husband, he agreed that it should be done. Guess what I am having done tomorrow? Yup.....getting my fuel whatever thing cleaned! It is nice to have a place you can trust! read more

It took them 1.5 hours to do a job that can be done in 30 mins. Called and told me that the cost would be a total of $150.00. Got it done only because it was an emergency. The spigot on my tire broke while I was pumping air into my tire. After speaking with Kim, he was able to get my spigot replaced with a rubber one and tire pumped. Double checked all of tires as well. Out of pocket was only $19 for the entire service. Would highly recommend. My husband took his car in to have his AC replaced they had the car for about 4 days and when we got it back it had all pins missing from both front tires that attaches the bumper which shouldn't have needed to be touched any way. We took the car back and they said they would have it fixed in 30 minutes then we got home and he is missing the cap on his AC system. So again we have to take it back and get that as well as a whole walkthrough on the vehicle to make sure nothing else is wrong or missing. DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND! Will not return. read more

Do not go to this corporation let alone, this location!!! They will rip you off and mess up your car. I had came in originally to get two tires fixed, and oIl change, and my breaks fixed. They had ran a diagnostic of everything and told me that I had to get a lot of thIngs fixed, when I had gotten my car looked at a month ago and the place I went to had told me that everything looked good except the things I needed fixed above! They quoted me $2000 for everything they had supposedly thought needed fixed. Then, when I asked if I could get My keys, they told me everything was taken off and new tires and breaks where getting fixed. Needless to say, they charged me an astronomical amount! Then, I asked them to take $300 out of my bank but instead, they took out way more than that! If I wouldn't have checked my bank before I left, they wouldn't have given one care for doing that. That same day, I started to smell gas while I was driving, something underneath the car was loose and flapping, AND my tire pressure light was on. DO NOT COME TO THIS BUSINESS!!! They will take all of your money and mess your car up! The staff is also super rude. So if I can help someone from getting screwed over, I advise you to not come here. My car needed a hose replaced. They told me it would cost $600 to fix, so I took my vehicle back. My entire dashboard is was disabled. I can no longer check my gas level, mileage, the speed my van is going, am I in drive or in reverse. I only noticed this when I was on the road driving, they didn't inform me of the damage.
