Dropped off car for oil change, rotation and alignment. Received a call stating inner tie rods and motor mounts needed replacing and asked if i'd like to proceed. Said 'no', I'll look into it myself. Paid, and told alignment could not be done until tie rods replaced due to slack in steering. Took car to two other repair shops, both said tie rods were great and motor mounts did need replacing. Had mounts replaced, took to another firestone for alignment, which was marginally out of place. No mention of tie rods needed replacing. Called Gilbert and told what transpired to see if we could work something out so I wouldn't have to slam them and he put me on hold, transferred to Abe the manager, who changed his story (obviously been briefed by Gilbert about why i was calling) saying I had needed mounts replaced for alignment first. When I dropped the car off in private Gilbert relayed to me in private he had dissatisfaction with his mechanic, who obviously was either dishonest or incompetent. Sad that they proceeded to cover up this issue with more double talk rather than work it out like adults. read more

I had some shocks installed on my F 150. Someone forgot to tighten the bottom bolts and they fell off in a couple weeks. Was a real pain in the butt getting them off so they wouldn't drag on the road in the intersection at 7 Ave. & Van Buren.!! When I returned to Fletchers they were very cooperative and apologetic and replaced the shocks immediately. I plan to go back and try them again based on the way they stood behind their work. read more

They called with a quote of $1500 but failed to tell us it was only $500 for parts and almost all the rest was for labor! They got the work done quickly but for that price I'm thinking of taking up a second job as a mechanic! It's just not right to charge so much for labor, there should be a breakdown of time vs cost to hold people accountable! read more

This tire shop has the worst customer service of any business I have experienced in the valley. I purchased 4 tires from them a few years ago and got the warranty. I had a tire that had a slow leak in it. I took to them and they said it was not leaking in the water tank and there was nothing they could do. So I left and a few days later the tire was really low on pressure so I aired it up and called the store AGAIN. I took it in and again they said it wasn't leaking air. So I continued to air it up over the next few weeks, took it back a 3rd time, and for a third time said check it out. They took the tire off the rim this time, there was a small nail, and they replaced the tire. Every time, I have to make an appointment, EVERYTIME they don't get me in when they said, and it takes them a min. of 3-4 hours to perform the work. My simple oil change took 3 hours to do. When they changed the oil, they rotate the tires and the last time, two of the four brakes started to squeal and they said that can happen and that was it. But they did find that my air shock had a tear and it would $1000 to fix it. I asked who I can contact regarding complaining and they said you'll never talk to the GM or owner, they said he screens all his calls so he can't or doesn't want to hear all the complaints. I think that is all he would hear, if he could or would talk to HIS customers. Don't shop there, the prices may be low, but the service after the sale is the worst I have witnessed. Beware if you shop there and have lots of time to waste, because you will need it. read more

I received a 25% off coupon email and called the store to see if I could use it and my rewards points on a transmission flush. I was told I could use both. I was quoted $159.95. When I checked out I was told that I could not combine the coupon and rewards points even though I had already been told I could. Then the bill included the oil removal and shop supplies fees which added another $15+ to the bill. So what I had budgeted to cost $40 +tax actually cost $103. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - take your car somewhere else and save yourself the time and money! I brought my car in because the AC had stopped blowing cold air. They kept the car all day long without calling me. When I called them at the end of the day, they told me the low-side AC line was leaking. I took my car back a few days later to have that fixed. Again, they kept the car all day long without calling me. When I called them, they had not fixed anything but now told me that the high-side AC line was also leaking. They could not tell me the cost to repair this... instead, said they would call me the next day. I never heard anything from them. WASTED TWO DAYS HAVING MY CAR IN THEIR SHOP AND THEY FIXED NOTHING. COULD NOT EVEN BE BOTHERED TO CALL ME. read more

I would not trust this place to put in air in the tires on my kids wagon. I took my car in for service and they tried to sell me a new front drive axle and boot. Told me there was a tear in the boot and the whole assembly should be changed. Short story, took the car to two other places, no tear. no expensive repair. avoid this place at all "costs" cause if you go, it's gonna cost. read more

I went in to Fletcher's 83rd Ave location for an oil change and tire rotation. After my car was being worked on the lift, Jaime, the tech, showed me 3 lug nuts from my car that were damaged. I realized this could be potentially dangerous, so I compared them with the good ones, and tested them on the wheel myself, and he was right. He recommended I get new ones, so I walked to a nearby auto supply store and bought replacements for $2.50 each. He waited for me to return, and made sure the new lug nuts fix correctly. He finished the oil change and tire rotation without charging extra. I paid the original price as quoted, thanked him, and drove away feeling safe. It was a positive experience all around. read more

I have been going to Fletcher's for the past 7 years. Our family has five cars ranging in years 1996 through 2007. The bottom line is I trust Fletcher's. Steve and his service guys are honest and understand how to treat customers. I've bought plenty of cars and had to deal with dealership service guys giving me their long lists of items I "need" to fix on the car every time I bring it in. This includes those brake shops and oil changing place too. When I have a problem with of one of our cars, I drop it off, and Steve or one of his service managers will give me a call with what is wrong, how much it will cost and when I can get the car back. The prices and services are explained to me. If when of the technicians find something else that needs repair, Steve explains it and lets me know what my options are. I always feel respected and valued as a customer at Fletcher's. read more

First off, it's no longer Fletcher. It's now Firestone. According to Steve, all the fletcher tires got bought out. Steve was the gentleman servicing me. I believe he's the manager but not positive. I brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotation on a weekday morning. After over an hour, I walked out with just the oil change. Why? Even though the Groupon I had stated oil change AND rotation, Steve told me to take it to Discount tire. Steve appeared a little overwhelmed. He told me to be patient a number of times over the phone as he was learning a new computer system. I asked him a number of times if I was in the system from my last visit in Oct 2016 and if my groupon was on file. He avoided the question. I won't be returning EVER. It was a huge inconvenience having to take my car over to discount tire and Firestone. It wasted my entire afternoon. I would've expected at least a call throughout my wait telling me Firestone wasn't going to honor my groupon. But instead, I received nothing. To be fair,the mechanic performed the oil change to my satisfaction. read more

If your a girl going in, they think they can run you. They quote you one price then get there its a lot higher, they do stuff without telling you. read more
