The staff seemed a little surprised to see a customer at 8:15 AM on Saturday. There was a sales rep and two mechanics available, which made me happy. They were accommodating, but they admitted that they don't get a lot of public customers. They perform a lot of service on used cars for the nearby Ganley dealerships. I figured if they do good work, I'll be a repeat customer. I am impatient, so waiting in line for an oil change is not my cup of tea. In fact, I was the only customer in the place the entire time I was there. My oil change and tire rotation was done in under and hour and the price was $69, which I found to be very reasonable, considering it costs $100 for an oil change a few doors down the street.

The store itself is big, clean, and beautiful. The showroom is filled with cars to admire. Then there's an amazing waiting area with a complimentary water, a complimentary coffee and hot chocolate machine, a vending machine for snacks, and even complimentary popcorn! The decor in the area is beautiful. You can relax on the comfy seats, or sit down at the stand and get some work done while waiting on your car. Overall, it's a great place to visit if you need work done on your car or if you're looking to buy a new car!

They wanted to charge $999 for Cilajet…read moreceramic coating that they said was already sprayed on the vehicle I wanted to get and was done so on the morning of my visit. 1. According to what I was told, this dealership spray this coating on all their vehicles and both buyers and leasers have to pay this $999 fee which cannot be declined. Come to find out, other dealerships spray ceramic coating on their cars and do not charge anything for it and will charge the customers who want the warranty for it. What does not make sense is forcing customers to pay for something they did not choose to get or if you leased a car. 2. If you research Cilajet coating, you will see that this coating has to set (cure) for at least 48 hrs and preferably 2 weeks after the coating has been applied before being exposed to the elements and if according to the salesperson I dealth with, this coating was applied on the vehicle I wanted to get on the morning of the sale, so how did the coating have a chance to cure before I take it home and this winter it has been brutal! Also, according to my experience, if you lease a car here, they might round your first lease payment up to the amount you have agreed to pay monthly even if the amount of that first lease to be paid up front should have been less. Upon pointing it out to them, they said it is because of their computer system and that they are fully aware of this error. Despite knowing this error, they did not tell me of this overcharge until it was pointed out to them. I feel like you really need to know what you are doing before you lease/buy a vehicle from this dealership, well, I guess from any dealership, but, mostly this one, you need to really have your guard up, need to really scrutinise all the numbers and to do your research. I feel like the agent I had to deal with knew what to say to lull you into thinking that she was watching out for you, that she was working her hardest to make sure that she got you the best deal but at the end of the day I feel like she did the opposite. On a happy note, I did get the vehicle I wanted from another dealership 3 months later (after much self-educating myself on how not to get ripped off at a car dealership) and I got a MUCH BETTER deal with almost $6K rebates right off the MSRP of $54K before I even stepped into the building, no begging and no surprise charges. I told them exactly what I was willing to pay after having researched what a dealership is willing to work with on this vehicle I wanted and if they can't work with that then I will not enter the building. For this purchase, I even got the dealership to take $25 off the monthly payment after having decided on the final take home price. And I got the ceramic coating for free as I did not choose to get the warranty. And I got the powertrain warranty for the life of the vehicle free of charge. The salesman I dealt with was a very nice, practical guy who didn't push the sale, he told me everything I needed to know and if he did not have the answer for my questions, he found out the answer for me. The finance manager got me the deal I asked for ( the $25/month off after the final amount was bargained for) and I got $100 (in the form of discount on the total amount) for dinner because I had to wait so long to sign the contract due to them being so busy. Mostly though, I did not feel like I was forced into getting things I did not want and I did not feel like I was hoodwinked. Very happy with my purchase elsewhere.

Now the bad part and reason I'll probably never go back- the price. $99.99 for full synthetic oil change. $5.00 for oil filter (not included in price of oil change apparently) $29.99 for tire rotation. $9.99 to fill up radiator fluid (apparently not one of the fluids they top off for free) These prices are outrageous and the fact that they're not already included in the already expensive oil change is upsetting. They display in their lobby the cost of the oil change, but do not disclose the price of the other items until checkout. I'm curious why. I'm also curious why they don't advertise the cost of their services, actually I'd like to know this for all the other oil shops as well.

They made a temporary fix and the next business day, I called Van's. Van's suggested I get new tires, but that I probably don't need new rims. So I made an appointment to get some Goodyear Assurance Max Life tires installed. I dropped the car off and they said they would take care of any issues with the rims. Later that day, they called me and informed me that the new tires had been installed and the car was ready to be picked up. So far, the tires have handled well and they're quieter than the last set. Also, the loud noise that I thought was a bad wheel bearing went away. I was worried that I was going to have to replace the tires, rims, and wheel bearings. But the new set of tires seems have have killed three birds with one stone. For that reason, I am grateful and will continue to shop at Van's. The lifetime free balancing and rotation is a nice perk too. I'll be back when my wife's car needs tires.

We stopped at one place who plugged and patched it but iti did not hold. We limped to Van's Auto Service when directed by someone at a service station right off the interstate. We could not have been better served. It was a Friday afternoon but Jeff problem solved so creatively, including giving us a loaner to go pick up a tire at the closest Lexus dealer, that we were only a few hours late arriving in Indiana. He and his fellow service rep went over and above to see that we were not stuck somewhere over the weekend without a tire. I cannot recommend them more highly. What a gift.
