Do not take your car to this dealership. They steal your parts and replace them with old parts. My grandfather came here for a noise in his 2018 Toyota and they not only charged him 1800 dollars but come to find out stole parts and now his car is at the Toyota dealership and will cost thousands to repair. read more

Seriously, I wish all places I frequent were as good as these guys! When was the last time you needed brakes and rotors done and were quoted under $300? Never, yes never. Here is the end of the road. Take your vehicles no where else. It would be a disservice to them. They do quality work here without bankrupting one. Seriously, when you bring your vehicle here, not only do they do great work, they take the time to explain everything to you. Not the usual "we did this pay us." But the why they did 'x' as well. Don't take your car here unless you plan on getting your car fixed. If not they will sabotage your vehicle and it will cost you more time and money. Now I'm looking for another auto shop. My car could have been totaled. Double check whatever you have them look at in your car because once you tell them you'll bring it back, your car may not get put back together the way you dropped it off. My fluid was full prior to drop off, upon pick up my car was bone dry and none of my tubes were put back together. I even found sludge in my container. If it wasn't for my dad teaching me, i would have missed it and they would have never been held liable due to the preexisting issue. All they said was, "it was a simple mistake". I'm sorry it took me this long to finally be getting around to reviewing this place. John and Ed run the best garage I've ever taken my vehicles to in my entire life. They are thorough and do excellent work. They're very reasonably priced and most importantly I have never left there without peace of mind. I used to live right up the road from them so I originally found them through convenience. Now that my wife and I live in Strongsville I find myself still driving all the way up to Parma to have John and dad take care of all of our automotive needs. What can I say, when you find a good mechanic that you have complete faith in you do not want to give them up! I would recommend Broadview auto care to anyone who needs mechanical work done. And on top of that I would stake my reputation on the work that they do. In fact if you tell them that "Colin sent you", John will want to know exactly how you know me.... Excellent! I just stopped for an oil change after being turned down by five other garages. They said no problem took 25 min and the price was well below the others I was shocked they should have charged more like others do for these jobs. I've taken my car here at least 3 times and they've always been great. The first time I needed a new muffler (on a car with 36,000, I was not happy) but they found a muffler and charged me something like $30 to install. I was really happy since the whole thing didn't cost as much as I had guessed it would. Next, I had another problem with my muffler, something further up I guess. It was in winter of 2014 and like 18 inches of snow had fallen that day so the owner drove me home while they fixed me car (I can usually walk/bike). Again, it wasn't too expensive to fix. Most recently, I needed new brakes. I made an appointment for Saturday morning and was able to come get it after they closed. read more

I took my car hear and I found out through my dealership recently that they have been stealing car parts and replacing them with old warn out parts. They are very corrupt I spent thousands because I looked at reviews and thought they were decent. This a review of what wasn't done when I brought my car in last week: We were visiting from New York City for the week. My battery had drained twice overnight, and AAA said there their tests showed no problem with the battery or alternator. I decided that whatever was causing an electrical problem needed to be resolved before driving home. I called several recommended mechanics, and Broadview was the only one who said I could have the work done immediately. Broadview analyzed my battery, found it in good shape, but didn't charge me for the time and labor. Broadview ordered a part to replace what he believed was causing an electrical problem, I authorized the work, and then he decided that his original analysis was wrong, and advised me that the complexity of the repair would be time-consuming and expensive, and we agreed that I would have my mechanic at home look at it. Charge: again, $0. So we learned a lot, got a a great deal of peace-of-mind, and Broadview didn't charge us a cent. Highest recommendation. read more

There is no mistake in rating this place with 0 stars. My daughter-in-law took her car there because of an E-check issue. We assumed that it would need a new Catalytic converter. Left the car over night for them to test. We received a call saying the "brake lines" are leaking and need to be replaced. I had personally checked all the fluids under a week ago and it didn't need any brake fluid, as the reservoir was full. My son, just earlier that morning, had driven the car from Mentor to Parma, my brother drove the car from the car rental place to our home, then my daughter-in-law drove my grandson to school and dropped the car off at the shop. Needless to say, none of them experienced any issues with the brakes. I went to the shop with my daughter-in-law, was told the car wasn't safe to drive, I had her get in the car to check the brakes and the brake pedal went to the floor and the car wouldn't stop. They claim they weren't responsible, when the police arrived he put the car on a lift and showed me where the brake fluid was pouring from, not a leak like he claimed but a full rupture of the brake line. Needless to say we had the car towed to a reputable location and are waiting on a certified mechanics evaluation of the brake lines. As far as the other reviews (1) Colin admits he is a long time friend of John the service mgr. (2) why did John say a simple $80 fix "we recommended " (3) and I'm not surprised Matt found a nail in his tire after picking up his vehicle. P.S.- Yelp made me give them 1 star, they don't deserve. read more
